Frustratingly slow

Ordered a Pioneer XDJXZ as their website was showing it as IN STOCK on 18th Sept.
Got the usual order confirmation but then heard nothing about dispatch. When I rechecked their website a few days later the product was out of stock.
Tried calling their various phone numbers but no one ever picked my call even after several attempts on different days.

I finally get a response from an email I sent saying stock is expected “next week”. That was over two weeks ago.

I’m stilling waiting, meanwhile they have taken my money and all I have is a vague idea that they might get stock sometime in the near future

Terrible experience with this company so far. I understand delays happen due to the virus but this company seems to have a serious lack of support.

Update:
Shortly after posting this review I actually received a call from DJ City who said they are expediting my case - and will be dispatching the order this week.

The item ended up arriving about a week after it was dispatched. No problems at all with the product on arrival.

Overall the purchase experience with DJCity was really frustrating and customer support really only kicked in at the point I posted the review.

Slow delivery, no response to enquiries

Order placed 7 August. As best I recall the website indicated the items were in stock, but I didn't screenshot that. No response to the order other than standard acknowledgement email, I followed up by email 12 August. Partial delivery 18 August, part of order still not shipped. I followed up by email 8 September. No response. Delivery completed 21 September. Substantial delay, no communication other than standard shipping emails. Product arrived in good condition with no other problems. Even allowing for COVID-19, this is poor service in my opinion. I suspect that based on my experience, if there was a problem, resolution might be slow and difficult. In future I will avoid online purchases from this seller.

Completely disgraceful service

Completely disgraceful service!
As another reviewer mentioned, I wish I had read this feedback before ordering...!
I can't yet comment on the products as they haven't even arrived!
I understand that Melbourne stores are closed due to Covid, however the service and communication is completely non-existent! As of yesterday I have called DJ City somewhere in the vicinity of 50 to 70 times over the past two days!
On the two occasions I have spoken with someone, given the matter was urgent, I eventually had to try call them back as there was no follow-up from their support team.
On the one occasion a staff member did attempt to call back, although I unfortunately missed the call, however that was it - they never tried to call back again. I called back immediately on the same number that called me - another 10 to 20 times, but of course there was no answer!
Prior to purchasing I contacted DJ City to discuss delivery times with a staff member, just to ensure we would receive the items in time for our party (which was in 16 days).
It seemed to start well as I was advised via email that same day that the items had been dispatched, and even received a Auspost tracking number, however it turns out that the items weren't actually sent for another 5 days! This is unacceptable! The purchase was based on their assurance of a quick dispatch!
Don't get me wrong, the 2 staff members I finally spoke with were polite, but the follow-up was completely non-existent.
Where this company really let us down was, knowing that the items weren't going to arrive, I advised them I wanted to purchase a 2nd kit and arrange a courier, however this is where it stopped! There was no help from them at all.
With time running out to the start of the party, nobody would answer any of the phone calls, nobody called back to help, nobody followed up on the one call they did make! Absolutely nothing, no help!
And as a result, we had no equipment and the surprise party didn't go ahead! A family event was ruined due to the complete lack of professionalism from this company.
As I mentioned at the beginning, I can't yet comment on the products as they haven't even arrived, however I would certainly not recommend this company, based not only on my experience, but as I unfortunately realised too late, the experience of many others.

Online store is terrible

Purchased a Rode NT USB microphone, was notified it will take 2 weeks to arrive, after 2 weeks they said it will be delayed until mid-September, I said I wasn't willing to wait so I wanted a refund. haven't heard from them since. tried to call many times but no response. Sent 2 emails with no luck in replies. i should have checked the reviews beforehand. I am not one to usually write negative reviews but this one i couldn't leave alone

Great communication with support and was shipped on time.

I didn't read these reviews till after I ordered my Arturia Keylab mk2 and was worried something would happen. Well I received the keyboard on time with no delays despite corona and I thought that was going to be the end of the story.

However I found there were issues with my keyboard and immediately emailed support explaining my problem. They got back to me like 2 days later and we then we sent emails back and forth over the next few days while I was trying to solve what was wrong with my keyboard. When I requested a refund he sent me the label to cover the shipping and I was prepared to send it back.

In the end I solved the problem, it was a firmware issue with the keyboard and it wasn't fully compatible with my computer. Artuira are apparently working on a fix but in the meantime I got an audio interface and midi cables to play the keyboard on my computer with no issue.

I've let support know I won't be needing a refund anymore and thanked them for the emails and communication. My experience with DJcity was a very positive one and in stark contrast to others here saying to avoid online ordering and that they have no communication. I will be posting this review elsewhere as well because good behaviour like this needs to be rewarded.

Thank you Kyle M for your support service and the people at the Dandenong store who shipped the keyboard.

DONT DO IT

DONT DO IT. I spent 90 and got absolutely NOTHING!!!! No response, no customer service, no phone calls returned but they TOOK my money. Couldn't download desktop app to my laptop so $90 just went into someone's pocket and I could have waited and just got BPM supreme. Just make sure you have a domain and business email
This ISH sucks!!!!!!!

they may offer nice service in the stores, but online shopping experience is just awful. no communication, no service, very very slow response. i thought that sort of business never exist in Australia.

Great staff at Mansfield, wish they would accept POs…

Great friendly staff at the Mansfield store. Have bought plenty of stuff from them over the years. The in house AVE brand is good for the low price, and they generally have good variety of stock in store. Only thing that would be better is I wish they would accept business purchase orders instead of cash payments only, but otherwise can't complain.

Ordered a a reloop DJ package took 3…

Ordered a a reloop DJ package took 3 weeks and constant hassling before they delivered it, when it arrived one stylus was broken and both time code records were warped. Could not get through on the phone. emailed at least 10 times to return faulty items. Wasn't until I went to the department of fair trading and opened a PayPal complaint that they finally got back to me.

This is a joke!

16 June - ordered a mixer, got an e-mail (we've got your money, hold tight; card balance decreased)

... silence..

23 June - started to worry. Tried to phone them, noone picked a phone. E-mailed: silence.

24 June - used the chat on their website, mentioned a Fair Trade complain, received a reply that they did't have the item in stock now and suggested to send a refund. Agreed.

3 July - emailed them; wrote to the chat - no reply. Phones were not answering too

6 July - received an e-mail that my item was dispatched.

Seriously? I already bought the damn mixer from another company (which was dispatched next day and delivered in a week) once I agreed on the refund! Why on Earth do I need the 2nd one?!? OMG.

Stay away from these people if you want to remain sane!

Same experience as many others. Phone calls are ignored and one month passed without any product being delivered. Do not shop at DJ City.

Takes money fast, never delivers product.

I don't think there's much point in repeating reviews on here but my experience is the same. Ordered a product which was in stock (amplifier - #617640) over 2 weeks ago promising 2 day shipping. 2 weeks later still not shipped although they billed my card instantly. Phones unanswered, live chat unanswered. I will not shop here again - if you value your sanity or want the product you ordered, I advise that you do not either.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. They take your money for an on line order and when you are expecting the next transit email it never comes and then do not reply to emails nor do they pick up the phone from all numbers given on the initial invoice. This is definately a scam. Pay pal should drop them off their creditors. Beware everyone!!
