Applied for a property after viewing via one of there female employees who didn’t have the decency to respond to my application or tell me I was unsuccessful, unprofessional.

I had an issue with Fridge in my flat. It stopped working and no room to store the food. I raised it to DJ Alexander and Ikenna Njoku, Property Relationship Manager handled the issue. He sent me the electrician on priority to check and arranged a replacement promptly. Thanks for prominent support from him and the problem is solved.

Great communication from Amy keeping me informed as to required 'end of tenancy' works, and providing updates complete with photos.

Throughout our time renting with DJ Alexander we have had an extremely positive experience from start to finish. If any issue was ever presented they were very attentive and proactive about the situation and kept us highly updated with regular and timely replies. When moving out of our rented property Associate End of Tenancy Property Manager Anna Scott did an incredible job with providing sustainable information to ensure we were able to secure our deposit back! Would highly recommend!

In what can be a very stressful experience of moving home, this was not the case with DJ Alexander’s as the process was simple and easy. Our property manager Katie was extremely helpful throughout the process and was attentive to our needs and was helpful with any queries or issues we had.

Connor Quinn was exceptionally helpful and made the process quick and simple. We didn’t feel stressed at all, and we heard back very quickly after applying. Good vibes all around!

We are renting a property through DJ Alexander and have had an issue with some of the locks within the property. We reached out to DJ Alexander through the emergency request option as it was a bank holiday weekend and one of their employees, Mhairi Bain, responded and had a locksmith out to help us with our issue really efficiently. The issue was resolved without any hassle and she made it super easy for us both. Thanks Mhairi!

Excellent and personal service! Our Glasgow flat had not been upgraded in years. The team at DJ Alexander, notably Stephanie in Glasgow, in charge of the flat, and Abigail in the Edinburgh office overseeing maintenance work and decoration, were top notch and keen to get the place in great condition. They succeeded wonderfully. Working in tandem they had the flat overhauled and looking better than when we first got it. Cannot thank Steph and Abigail enough. As for DJ itself, their online accounting and Internet integrated maintenance portal is a pleasure to work with. A proactive team and a professional company. Ticks all boxes. Very pleased.

I had a lovely viewing experience with Ellen Clow who arrived promptly to show me around a property I was interested in, answered all questions I had and was kind and professional in her approach. While exploring the rent market can be difficult and overwhelming, Ellen was very helpful in ensuring a smooth viewing process.

In the process of moving to Scotland and looking for a long term rental to allow us to find our forever home - our challenge was having two dogs as most home owners would not entertain pets!! Having spoken to Jill @ the Inverurie office she accessed our situation and found us a home which is truly beautiful. So many thanks to Jill and the team for making this a very smooth process and no stress!!

Jess Leggate (Aberdeen) has been brilliant through leaving process of my tenant and keeping my right and correct with all the next steps to re-advertise.

When you move in the place will have plenty of issues and then when moving out DJ Alexander will attempt to steal your deposit or add extra charges by claiming these issues were done by you. DJ Alexander will also deliberately not reply to your leaving notice to secure extra pro rata payments. Do not rent from this letting agency.

I wouldn’t even give it a star if I could. Absolutely appalling behaviour from this company. What they aren’t telling you about these houses or at least my experience is the people.. or person.. surrounding it. And the cardboard like house. Every step I took was a complaint waiting to be made by the downstairs neighbour, after 4 years of complaints and begging the Dj Alexander to change the floor they COMPLETELY ignored and denied doing so. We experienced constant abuse and repetitive harassment from our down stairs neighbour meaning we had to contact the police and nearly order a restraining order, due to the constant noise. Due to the lack of ANY effort to change the floors. After contacting them to leave the apartment and find somewhere new they illegally tried charging a price for a reference. Which in Scotland is completely illegal. And if you had any sense youd think twice about doing that next time, the house was as thin as paper. You can’t walk around without hearing everyone’s conversation. And getting 14 bangs and a good few rude words from the downstairs neighbour. the furniture provided are as cheap as can get and fall apart after a year of not months. Sorry to the next person who has to deal with these people. Embarrassing. 🤢
