Really recommend Diverse Diagnostics!

All the staff have always been really helpful and friendly. Any issues I've had have been dealt with quickly and they are always very quick to get back to me. Spoke to Ciara on the phone today and she couldn't have been more helpful. She was very patient and made sure all my questions were answered.

Follow up appointment after diagnosis, explaining next steps and costs. Opportunity given for any questions I might have. At times I felt the caller was following a script, as much as I understand that this will be a prompt to cover all areas, I just felt it stopped the flow of the conversation. However I have only good things to say about this service.

I was a heroin addict for nearly 18 years, and alcohol and crack, in fact anything I could get my hands on. Thank God I’ve been clean 18 years in October. Ive suspected I had ADHD for a few years as I now work with young people and could identify with their struggles. I’ve managed to build a successful charity and my undiagnosed ADHD was very helpful in some respects. However, as got into my 50’s I was struggling more and the consequences of my behaviour was causing me problems. Debt mounted from impulsive buying, managing staff became difficult, time blindness, anxiety around generally managing my life, and lots more symptoms - which became worse. For nearly 18 years I have dealt with issues and approached life with what got me clean - my faith. Prayer and application of the word as a believer. These things got me off heroin but they couldn’t help me with my ADHD! I just could not break these habits no matter what I tried. I decided to go for diagnosis as I needed help. Sceptical about private healthcare I had no choice. I did a little research and found Diverse Diagnostics.

What an experience! From day one they have been AMAZING. Answering all my calls, my emails, the process was super easy. The initial assessment done with absolute professionalism, with care and dignity. To say it has changed my life would not do it justice. The medication, Elvanse, literally changed everything almost over night. I can think straight, the impulsive behaviour gone (along with the debt!). Relationships with family and staff are now as they should be. My wife isn’t wondering ‘what’s he up to now!’ and my staff aren’t bracing themselves for the next ‘big idea’ and the subsequent burnout. My sleep - something I’ve always battled with is now sound, proper sleep, waking rested, no more racing brain at night as my brain tries to catch up.
The cost of medication was a concern - although I’m saving far more than I was spending pre medication! I worried that I wouldn’t get shared care because most GP’s where I live won’t do it. My GP after seeing the benefit it was having on me agreed to ‘consider’ shared care but warned me that although he was happy he would struggle to get it past the community mental health team. After submitting the evidence from my assessment and reviews by DD they actually agreed straight away and started prescribing to me this month. The ONLY REASON my GP told me that they agreed was because of the quality of the assessment and reviews from DD. The specialist was really a specialist, the nurses had the right qualifications, the assessment was thorough and included the QB test. From day one to today - Diverse Diagnostics have been amazing. They did what they said they would do. Because of this my medication journey is now sustainable and I will be forever grateful to them. My GP explained that the reason my health board doesn’t like shared care is because there are too many out there just making money and doing second rate jobs.

I was really scared coming into the consultation as I’ve always had this feeling like things weren’t right, or rather, I wasn’t right.. I’ve tried seeking mental health help before and it’s been reduced as Anxiety or Self Esteem or Stress and to have someone so patient on the phone who just seemed to understand everything I was feeling and saying just meant a lot more than I could put into words.

Excellent Clinical service and the team are incredibly helpful. I was recently provided with assistance from one of the Clinical Care Advisor’s Ciara D, who has helped me with a few queries and was very responsive 🤗

The intake assessment was quite thorough, which I thought was great. Amy Duncan was lovely to talk to, and dealt with the more sensitive topics that can come along with ADHD very well. I appreciate that the NHS guidelines are followed with this diagnosis process so that I know it's done properly. I've also really appreciated the fast response times. Looking forward to getting into the full appointments soon.

Both my sons have been through various processes with Diverse Diagnostics and I would highly recommend them. Clear communication, great and timely follow up and all the clinical advisors are especially helpful with any questions I’ve had.

Rebekah was genuinely caring and listened really well. She was kind and patient as I spilled out a liturgy of information. I really appreciated her attentive nature and I felt really listened to and supported.

Cara was exceptional. She gave me a clear and thorough explanation of the process and was able to provide me with answers to every question I asked.
On a personal note, her tone and manner made the whole process much easier than I'd originally thought it would be. She was empathetic without being patronising and warm without losing an ounce of professionalism. Fantastic first point of contact.

Really positive experience with my consultation. The psychologist was very kind, patient and reassuring, and made me feel comfortable throughout. I felt listened to and supported and came away feeling more confident about the assessment process.
