I ordered a mattress from Divan-beds.co.uk and was call on the day of delivery (09/09/20) and told there van had broken down and it was going to be delivered the following day. This delivery didn't turn up with no explanation from the company. After chasing this order the customer services emailed me and I was given a new delivery date (12th September 2020) and it has not arrived. There has been a total of three delivery dates given (all with 12 hour delivery slots) and still no sign of it, Lets hope I can get my money back.
I would never order any product from this company again.

I bought a divan bed with mattress. When it arrived, I was extremely disappointed because it was of very poor quality. Really cheap material, built using staple-gun, bed base not sturdy at all.
The mattress was advertised as having 1500 pocket springs and firm, in reality it's not firm at all and doesn't have 1500 pocket springs.
When I complained about it through email and asked for a return within 14 days of cooling off period, they replied and asked for pictures of the fault. How could I show cheap quality in pictures?
After many emails they said they would accept return for a return delivery cost of £95, which is very unreasonable as it's 50% of the original price of the bed that I paid.
I have wasted my money and time, would definitely not recommend this company. I did check the publicly available information about the company, which anyone can access, on companies house's website and real name of this company is Furniture Front. I also used google street view to see the location of the company, which is a residential street.

I have been careful in writing this review, I have read the Guidelines for Reviewers before posting, as so many other negative reviews have been reported by divan beds and removed.

After some frustrating order delays, the experience improved dramatically with the delivery. My delivery driver Zamir Houssain was excellent. In busy London traffic, he was able to provide updates. On arrival, it transpired that I hadn’t booked assembly, which would have been a disaster for me (with recently broken arm). However, in sympathy, Zamir was able to do it for me - after he had already braved small elevator with the unit. He was fast, polite, and a genuinely nice guy to chat to. He reflects very well on the company. He was honestly a lifesaver. Zamir, thank you.

Warning! Do not buy from this company.
I bought two beds that come with mattresses. I paid for a 1500 pocket spring but received 1000.
Both beds were not not aligned so the base board was lopsided. When I emailed them they said I have to take it apart and rescrew the panels to make it even.
My bed came with a base board that did not fit the bed.
At first they offered to collect and refund but I had to wait 8-35days. After 35 days and me emailing they came back and said the refund has been declined because I open the packaging and assembled the bed. How would I know the baseboard did not fit without assembling the bed.
I’m now taking them to court for both beds as I paid £700 and have had no bed for 3months to sleep on. Absolute shambles.
And for some reason they only reply to emails in the early hours of the morning. Avoid at all costs. And I urge many here to also take them to court to get your money back.
Also every bad review seems to be taken down. The reviews on their site are fake and the same for every different bed you look at.
Avoid avoid avoid- Ebay are much cheaper and at least come with a guarantee

Ordering was really easy and even though sceptical at having a bed online we didn’t need to have been. It was really a fab delivery really well informed and was delivered in brilliant condition. Hubby found it really easy to put the bed together. We had already purchased a new mattress so we only bought the bed frame but It looks lovely in our bedroom and am so pleased with it. Will definitely recommend DIvan beds and will be purchasing again from them.

I have no complaints at all I have had a great experience with them, I got a comformation email right after purchase, a text a day later with a delivery date and they came today with a call an hour before as they said, you will struggle to get it cheaper and I can't talk for anyone else but for me the bed and service are excellent, the delivery driver went above and beyond so happy.

Although COVID made us wait, it was completely worth it. Beautiful bed and fabulous quality. Took less than 20 mins to assemble. The delivery driver couldn’t have been more helpful. One very happy daughter.. thank you

Amazing bed so comfortable come within 8 days the footboard was missing of the bed but I emailed straight away and the next day it was delivered I cannot thank this company enough I would definitely recommend this company and would definitely use again thanks

Although delivery time does take 30 days which I was aware of when I ordered, it arrived on the day stated by a very friendly delivery driver. I am very pleased with my bed and it looks great in my bedroom. This company has a brilliant Customer Care Team, I emailed them and Mark responded very quickly and was very helpful, I was then contacted by Tyler who sorted out my problem. This company have the best customer service team I have ever come across and I will definitely use them again.

I left a previous review -a one star one- as money had been taken but I had had no confirmation. I have now managed to speak to someone and have been given a delivery date on next week for my bed!

Do not.... and I mean do not purchase a bed from this company.

We paid £500 for a 4ft 6 Crushed Velvet bed for our teenage daughter and it was a nightmare from start to finish.

The delivery took 40 days, the quality of the bed was cheap. The headboard struts didn't line up to the headboard holes.... the draws didn't close and the screws to fix the base together were over tightened and rounded off. The mattress was shocking for the amount we paid.

Once we contacted Divan-Beds by email and sent images, they argued that the bed should have been checked in full before the delivery driver left?? Hahaha..... during Covid-19 the driver was off and the 4x piece bed was covered in thick plastic. How on earth were we meant to check this so quickly???

They argued lots of points with us as if it was our fault and only said they would consider a refund once the goods were returned which as we all know will not happen.

Shame on Mr Kahn for treating his customers this way and for ripping off customers with very cheap beds!!!!!

Brilliant service, Delivered a day late but given he circumstances that's to be understood a few communication errors but I'm sure that is also down to the current situation. My sons new bed is lovely just what he wanted. Would definitely use again.

Perfect bed, exactly as shown in the pictures, comfy mattress too. Delivery driver was polite would order again :D

I cannot fault this company in any relevant department. Website is loaded with great ranges of frames and top end mattresses all at fantastic prices.

My partner and I order a new frame and it came in the stated delivery window.

From lifting it into the room I already knew the product was of high quality just from the sheer weight. It went together so easily. The way the piece connect through the bracket arms and bolts is another sign of the quality the company offer.

I has a slight issue with a broken sideboard support screw. Nothing major but due to the price of the product I felt I should email them about it.

Within 24 hours Tyler, part of the resolutions team was back in touch with me and from the get go he bent over backwards. The package he offered me was outstanding. He never questioned the damage issue with the frame once. He is proof of just how good this company are.

I'll not go anywhere else for future beds now. A great company and an even better customer experience

With hesitation due to not ordering before from this company I ordered a bed. To my suprise it came earlier than stated and was absolutely georgeous, solid piece and so easy to put together.
I had to email the company about another piece of furniture I wanted and I got a great fast response.
All my friends love it and are asking where I got it from.

Beware of the T/C! they ripped you off with worst quality of mattress.

There is No exchange, no replacement and refund even once you open to check the product.

I have bought Darius House Crushed Velvet Divan Bed with 2000 Pocket Orthopaedic Mattress. Thought price is reasonable but it turned out painful nightmare. The bed set can be considered but the mattress quality is worst. I really felt it scammed. The mattress has no label, it comes with cheaply packaging. You can not get any refund/replacement or exchange even once you opened to check if the mattress is exactly what been ordered. Delivery wasn’t straight forward. It turned out partly shipping. Called it splits delivery service. But they won’t tell you in advance.

Mattress quality is worst it would be better to sleep on carpet floor than on its. The spring are naked and painful every part of body. I have complained and request for send correct mattress as I thought it can’t be what I ordered and requested to replacement or exchange with different quality but it seems they know how ripped you off. There are T/C which I can not get money back or replacement/exchange or replacement. So please avoid this company for buying here. There many shops who provide you 100 days / at least year of money back or replied mattress if it does not suitable to you.

I ordered an ottoman bed which arrived on time. Has great storage space which fits all of my shoes and more. I also bought a chelsea mattress which has been a pleasure to sleep on, very comfortable! 5 stars ⭐️
