Horrible company!!! It’s ridiculous that they don’t even take payments over the phone that you have to go online. I have been trying to set up my account online for the longest time and continuously kept getting the message saying that I was not an active member I called customer service various times to let them know that I was trying to make payments, but I was not able to and that they could not do much. And that my only options were to send a check or a money order and to top it off the last few representatives that I have talked to have been incredibly rude and act like it’s a bother that people are calling and I agree with a lot of their reviews they don’t pay for anything nor cover anything it’s ridiculous. And then to top it off trying to talk to you a customer service representative is impossible. You have to jump through so many hoops to even talk to someone.

If I had a choice to put no star I would. I cancelled with this company one year ago! They have still been taking money out of my check for one whole year! I did everything they told me to do to cancel my insurance plan with them and whoever I talked to failed to do so. This is "supposed" to be a good company! If you don't want to get scammed out of your money or have your information leaked! Do not get this insurance! It seems impossible to talk to anyone within this company. They sent me to Pres to cancel when I did not do it through pres? This company goes through so many third parties and no one knows anything about how to go about answering your questions or trying to get it cancelled. I would love for a REAL person to call me and get all of this situated!

I got a letter telling me of a data breach from Dentaquest something I never signed up for or ever used, now I have to enroll in some credit monitoring? What the hell? I would give a minus as big a number as possible but the least you can give is 1 star so I give them a minus 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Website is very outdated . I called 20 plus dentist on the website that state accepting new patients and they are not. I called customer service and they are NO help. This is a terrible way to run a business !!

Customer service long hold times wait times. I paid my premium for 9ne month. The day I called in to ask for a credit. I was changed a third time. So I paid my premium 3 times in one month without my authorization. I set up auto pay and removed my debit card right away.

DentaQuest dental insurance is committing fraud, discrimination, and denying service required by law. My son is 13 and has level 3 autism and a severe intellectual disability requiring sedation for dental procedures. DentaQuest has many, many providers listed on their website but after calling all of them within a 50 mile radius only one accepts the insurance (EPO pediatric high from the marketplace). The one that accepts the insurance doesn’t provide sedation. All local surgery centers also don’t accept the insurance. His case has been under an appeal (or rad) since 3/26/26 (the allotted time is 60 days) and there is still no hope of resolution and they will give me no time frame. To be clear, that is 106 days that it has been under appeal and seven months of looking for a dentist and being unable to find one. DO NOT TRUST THEM IF YOU VALUE YOUR CARE

With all the bad reviews why is this company not being looked at by the higher ups and why is it still in business. Customer service is RUDE and apparently loves to hang up on patients. I will be looking into this legally because I believe laws are being broken here. This place is a disaster of a company. I’m new to state insurance and omg I will sell my you know what to get my own independent insurance again if I have to. I am so sorry that humans have to go thru this and have no voice apparently because this place is still in business. Time to do some research because I will not stand for this kind of treatment from this place as if I am not a human being with a beating heart. Absolutely disgusting experience. I’m beside myself completely. The agent I spoke to should not be working there. No empathy just cold and give me my check kinda person. Disgusting to say the least.

This dental insurance sucks, and is nothing more than a headache. They have next to no providers they cover for in my area. Highly recommend not using them.

I just got a notice my SSI is on the dark web from this company 5 days ago and I have never used them! I would like to know how they got it!

Your company needs to actually have professional dental providers (not just providers named who are on your payroll not doing their job) review x rays and plan of care so that patients do not become victims of unnecessary dental care abuse or inept dental care which does not address their dental issues properly. Unlike in any other healthcare profession most patients have little knowledge of what is appropriate dental care, until it is too late. We rely on providers and insurance companies.

I sent in three sets of paperwork and called numerous times to appeal denial of peridontal work I had to have done in September in order to clear up a series of infections in my gum/ jaw . These services were an emergency and vital because I had bone on bone on my knee and desperately needed a full knee replacement which was held up by these infections. The enemy of a knee replacement is sepsis. I paid out of pocket, and though I was told I had not used up the $4,000 denta quest coverage, they would only cover half. After months of appeal paperwork they sent $315 of the $1,160 appeal to the periodontist not to me. The periodontist acted like they hadn't received the check then came up with added expenses DentaQuest had not paid them originally and I never saw a penny of the $315appeal I won. I filed a grievance and they basically said tough luck. So even after months of paperwork and calls then winning the appeal they never sent me a penny. When you live on$ 949 monthly social security that's a lot of money. The periodontal office would not help or submit one bit of paperwork or anything for the appeal and yet they sent the money to them and then refused to correct the mistake. WellCare is wonderful but denta quest not so much.

Absolutely terrible experience with DentaQuest. Every time I needed a procedure done, it turned into weeks of phone calls, confusing explanations, and denied claims. Their provider list is outdated, and multiple dentists listed as “in-network” told me they stopped accepting this insurance years ago. Customer service gives different answers every time you call, and no one takes responsibility for fixing anything. I ended up paying out of pocket after wasting hours trying to get approval for basic dental work. This company collects premiums just fine but seems determined to avoid covering actual care. I would never recommend DentaQuest to anyone looking for reliable dental insurance.

They failed to supply a provider for a covered service, and when I filed a grievance, it was mishandled. Then I filed an appeal, which was denied. Then I appealed to the AHCA (Agency for Health Care Administration) Office of Fair Hearings and after two phone sessions, my appeal was turned down. Not only is DentaQuest a fraudulent company but the Medicaid review board appears to be their servant. This whole ordeal lasted 10 months!

@DentaQuest this company is a complete scam reference number 202601813742 call on April 9, 2026 with supervisor Laura stating that all of my claims should have been approved when they were denied also stated she would resubmit and that the services that I was provided by my dentist were covered under my plan and they still denied reference number 202602273739 Jamie May 5, 2026 stated they denied the claims that Laura resubmitted indicating that D4341 D4342 and D4910 that two of the codes were not done prior to the last Code. I asked her to explain that she couldn’t even explain what that meant. She had no idea she told me I needed to just appeal. Write a letter and appeal and hopefully they would call me and explain why they are denying my claims indicated because clearly the service I had was covered and she’s thinking they’re stating the other codes were not done like I was not billing them for other stuff or didn’t have another service done that I should have been billing them for. It’s a complete joke Run do not use this company. They have done this to me for the last five years and I’ve had to call and spend my time on the phone for hours re-appealing and appealing only for them to pay. They are just hoping you don’t keep calling and don’t question it is a way for them to get out of paying your benefits

Do not go with the this dental insurance I've been with them for quite a while I can't seem to get to work done that I need and they did not every time I need work done I have health issues we are not going to the dentist for fun and it's hard no wonder there's not really no dentist either that takes this insurance so I'm trying to figure out what do I do next it sucks very sucks

THE ABSOLUTE WORSE DENTAL INSURANCE...EVER. I get my teeth cleaned every 6 months as suggested. I went to a new dentist for this procedure and was ok with this facility. Today I received a denial for services rendered. Reason for denial...."SERVICE IS LIMITED TO 1 TIME EVERY 3 CALANDER YEARS". WHAT!!!!! There are a bunch of morons sitting in those cubicals. Worse part you can't even get hold of a customer representative.

They denied damn near anything. From teeth cleaning, fluoride, x-rays, crowns, feelings. They just like to say no

The worst dental insurance experience ever. Denied a claim 2 times. Said it was a non- necessary procedure. Five other dentists and orthodontists said it is absolutely necessary. Then on another child, they denied a claim after they originally approved it. They said my child does not need a cap as they have a cap already…the cap came off, hence the need for a new one. What utter nonsense.

They're the worst dental insurance I've had in my lifetime. All they know how to do is deny claims; they paid zero on my claim. Somebody should put a stop to these practices. My son is in pain for crying out loud we can’t control how our teeth come in my son wisdom tooth is scrapping his check causing abscess where he can hardly open his mouth nor eat show us you care for crying out loud uncontrollable things should be pad for by you guy’s especially if it’s causing the patient pain .
