Dentakay Nov 2022 Nightmare
My name Peter I went to Dentakay in Nov 2022. I am living an nightmare since the day they worked on my teeth. The cosmetic dr paired my teeth down to stumps. She also extracted 2 teeth but left the full roots in the gum. Three days later she fitted the crowns. When I returned weeks later I notice parts of my gums were infected due to the poor fitting. I went to my local dentist to get a check up. What he saw he said to he he was horrified at the job they did. He took a 3 d of my teeth and gums and told me that the nerves is still in my socket. My dentist told me in easy terms that she just broke off the tooth to the gum and put a bridge over it. Some months later had to go to another dentist to take the bridge off and drill down in the gum and remove the bottom half of the tooth that Dentakay left. I went back to Dentakay. They put a new bridge in at no cost.The problem I had with Dentakay the fitting was very poor and they should have never put my crowns back in twos and four. They should have done each one separately. My advice DONT go anywhere near Turkey to get teeth work done. In the long run it will cost you triple and a nightmare.
My first contact with Dentakay was…
My first contact with Dentakay was informative. I've been dealing with James the entire time, and James, you are wonderful, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart, my friend, because all of the people there make you feel like friends and family, not a customer or patient, just a patient if you know what I mean. Even though we are, it feels warmer and kind of safer than just that, but from the initial outreach to all my bookings, and even though I've had the first half of my treatment done, James is still available for me to speak to, and so are the rest of the staff at Dantakay. That is their planning team, their aftercare team. All I'm going to say is they are phenomenal. They are kind, caring, gentle, and reassuring. It's a scary thing, but they help you every step of the way. I'm only at the halfway mark. This is the start of my journey. I haven't finished it yet, but up to the present time, I can't be happier. The people are wonderful. The treatment was explained, and then the procedure was done, and it was quick. Relatively painless, and I'm home healing. Ready to go back in a few months for the final process. I'd highly recommend Dentakay to our UK government website, which acknowledges Dentakay as a tourism medical centre and is recognised by the UK government, which is another reason you can trust Dentakay if you have any concerns or issues; they are there 24/7 to help you, which has put my mind at ease. I look forward to going back in October for the final part of my journey. A new smile and being able to eat properly again will be just phenomenal, to be fair. I wish I'd been able to do this before now, but I'm glad that Dentakay is who I went with. If you go with them, you'll not be dissatisfied, and it'll probably be one of the best decisions you've ever made. And I will come back to update you on the second half of my journey or any problems that I have from here on in. And I will always give an honest review. But for now, go to dentakay

Cette expérience restera, sans aucun doute, la pire expérience médicale de toute ma vie.
Mon expérience avec Dentakay : 8 500 € dépensés, deux opérations au CHU de Clermont-Ferrand et une profonde déception.
Je n'aurais jamais imaginé vivre une telle expérience. Ce qui devait améliorer ma santé est devenu le pire cauchemar de ma vie.
Je suis venu chez Dentakay avec un objectif très clair : retrouver une occlusion correcte et fonctionnelle, afin de soulager mon bruxisme sévère, mes douleurs cervicales et mes douleurs corporelles. Avant même mon arrivée, j'avais expliqué à plusieurs reprises à Maram que l'occlusion était ma priorité absolue, bien plus qu'un simple sourire esthétique.
Au final, j'ai payé près de 8 500 €, soit 3 500 € de plus que le devis initial, sans obtenir le résultat qui m'avait été promis.
Aujourd'hui, mon occlusion est toujours aussi mauvaise qu'avant mon traitement. Mes dents restent désalignées, ma mâchoire est toujours de travers et mes douleurs au niveau du cou, de la mâchoire et du corps sont toujours présentes. Le principal problème pour lequel je suis venu n'a absolument pas été résolu.
Le plus grave est arrivé après le traitement. À la suite de l'intervention réalisée chez Dentakay, une communication oro-antrale entre la bouche et le sinus est apparue, entraînant d'importantes complications. Une récidive du kyste a également été constatée. J'ai dû être pris en charge par le CHU de Clermont-Ferrand, où j'ai été réopéré sous anesthésie générale le vendredi 10 juillet. Lors de cette intervention, les chirurgiens du CHU de Clermont-Ferrand ont constaté qu'une partie du kyste n'avait pas été complètement retirée lors de l'intervention précédente, rendant cette nouvelle opération indispensable.
J'ai dû suivre plus de cinq semaines d'antibiotiques, effectuer de nombreux déplacements au CHU de Clermont-Ferrand, consulter d'autres spécialistes, subir des frais supplémentaires importants et interrompre une partie de mon activité professionnelle.
Malgré tout cela, la clinique refuse toujours d'assumer la moindre responsabilité.
Je demande un remboursement de 3 500 €, une somme qui me paraît parfaitement justifiée au regard des complications médicales, des deux interventions chirurgicales, des frais supplémentaires engagés et du préjudice subi. J'ai privilégié jusqu'à présent une solution amiable. Cependant, si Dentakay refuse une nouvelle fois d'assumer ses responsabilités et de parvenir à un accord raisonnable, je confierai immédiatement mon dossier à un avocat et j'engagerai une procédure judiciaire afin de faire valoir mes droits et d'obtenir réparation du préjudice subi.
À plusieurs reprises, j'ai demandé :
un devis détaillé ;
le compte rendu complet de mon traitement.
À ce jour, je n'ai toujours reçu ni l'un ni l'autre. Ce manque de transparence est totalement inacceptable.
Le service client est, selon mon expérience, extrêmement décevant. Avant le traitement, tout est fait pour vous rassurer. Dès que des complications apparaissent, j'ai eu le sentiment que la clinique devenait beaucoup plus réservée et beaucoup moins disposée à aider réellement son patient.
Pendant mon séjour, j'ai également rencontré plusieurs autres patients qui m'ont confié être eux aussi mécontents de leur traitement. Cela n'a fait que renforcer les doutes que j'avais déjà.
J'ai déjà pris contact avec l'Ambassade afin de connaître les démarches possibles.
Je rendrai également publics les faits, la chronologie complète de cette affaire, les échanges avec la clinique ainsi que les documents médicaux en ma possession, notamment ceux du CHU de Clermont-Ferrand, afin que chacun puisse se faire sa propre opinion. Ces informations seront publiées sur stop-dentakay.com, un site que j'ai créé spécialement pour documenter cette affaire de manière transparente, factuelle et avec toutes les preuves disponibles.
Je déconseille très fortement cette clinique. La Turquie ne faisant pas partie de l'Union européenne, les recours sont beaucoup plus difficiles en cas de problème.
Je regrette profondément d'avoir fait confiance à Dentakay. Cette expérience restera, sans aucun doute, la pire expérience médicale de toute ma vie.

Je recommande cette clinique les yeux fermés ! Mon expérience a été excellente du début à la fin. Toute l'équipe est très professionnelle, accueillante et bienveillante. Les soins sont de grande qualité, tout est parfaitement expliqué et réalisé avec beaucoup de sérieux.
L'organisation est également irréprochable : les transferts entre l'aéroport, l'hôtel et la clinique sont parfaitement pris en charge, ce qui permet de vivre son séjour en toute sérénité.
Un immense merci à toute l'équipe pour son professionnalisme, sa gentillesse et son accompagnement. Je suis entièrement satisfaite du résultat et je n'hésiterai pas à recommander cette clinique à toute personne souhaitant recevoir des soins dentaires de qualité.

My overall experience with Dentakay was positive. The quality of the dental treatment and professionalism of the medical team were excellent.
My overall experience with Dentakay was positive, and I am grateful for the professionalism and kindness of the doctors, nurses, and most members of the staff. The quality of the dental treatment itself met my expectations, and I appreciate that the surgical team listened to my concerns and adapted my treatment plan to my individual needs. This gave me confidence that I was in good hands.I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Turhan Biç, Dr. Elif Melike, and Dr. Muhammet Ali for their professionalism, kindness, and outstanding care throughout my treatment.
However, I would like to mention two important issues that significantly affected my overall experience.
The first was the communication regarding IV sedation. From the beginning of our correspondence, I repeatedly explained that the main reason I travelled to Istanbul was because I needed treatment under IV sedation. Unfortunately, after arriving at the first clinic, completing examinations and receiving a treatment plan, I was informed that IV sedation was not available there and that I had to be transferred to another clinic across the city. This resulted in unnecessary transportation, repeated examinations, additional stress, and a change of hotel. As someone with severe dental anxiety, this was emotionally very difficult. I believe this situation could have been avoided with better internal communication before my arrival.
The second issue was the airport transfer on the day of our departure. We followed the instructions exactly and were waiting outside the hotel before the requested time. Unfortunately, the transfer arrived approximately 30 minutes late. As a result, we missed our flight and had to purchase new tickets costing €771. I was disappointed that no responsibility was accepted for this situation and no compensation was offered. I understand that unexpected delays can happen, but I believe international patients rely on the transportation arranged by the clinic and should not bear the full consequences when such delays occur.
Apart from these two issues, I was impressed by the professionalism of the medical team. I would especially like to thank the surgeons, anesthesiologist, and everyone involved in my treatment. They treated me with respect, patience, and empathy, which was extremely important because of my lifelong dental phobia.
I hope my comments will be taken as constructive feedback. I truly believe Dentakay is an excellent clinic with highly skilled professionals, and by improving communication between departments and the organization of airport transfers, the experience for future international patients could become even better.

My dental nightmare
I rarely leave negative reviews if I can leave negative 5 stars I most definitely would, but after everything I have experienced with Dentakay, I feel obligated to share my story so others can make an informed decision.
I chose Dentakay because of their reputation and the confidence they gave me during the consultation process. I paid the full amount quoted by Dentakay, believing they would oversee my treatment and stand behind their work. Unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite.
I was sent to their partner clinic in Tijuana, where my dental treatment became an ongoing nightmare. My full-mouth restoration has had to be redone multiple times in less than a year due to significant problems with the work. Some crowns were poorly fitted, leaving gaps where food constantly becomes trapped. Others were flattened during adjustments, making it difficult to chew properly and leaving my bite feeling unnatural. I have also experienced ongoing pain and discomfort throughout this process. Still to this very moment my mouth is in pain with poor crowns gaps they are not seated correctly in pain. With no contact or not a care in the world.
Each time I returned, I was assured the issues would be corrected. Instead, I found myself making repeated trips, taking time away from work and family, paying for additional travel expenses, and enduring more procedures without achieving a satisfactory result.
What has been even more disappointing is the lack of accountability and communication. I repeatedly requested a signed, written agreement outlining the proposed resolution and warranty terms, yet weeks passed without receiving the documentation I was promised. I spent countless hours following up with both Dentakay and the treating clinic, often receiving conflicting information about who was responsible.
At one point, Dentakay informed me that the treating clinic was responsible for my warranty, while the clinic continued communicating through Dentakay. As a patient, I should never have been caught in the middle of what appeared to be a dispute between business partners. I paid Dentakay’s contract in full cash , and I expected Dentakay to manage my case from beginning to end.
After everything I have endured, I have lost confidence in returning for yet another attempt to correct the same issues. No patient should have to undergo the same extensive dental work four times while continuing to experience pain, uncertainty, and inconvenience.
I recognize that complications can happen with any medical or dental procedure. What separates a reputable company from the rest is how they respond when problems occur. In my experience, the delays, poor communication, repeated treatment failures, and lack of clear accountability have been far more frustrating than the original dental issues themselves. On top of everything they denied any refund and told me to seek legal action. So I will do everything I can to make sure this case doesn’t get swept under the rug.
If you are considering treatment through Dentakay, I strongly encourage you to ask detailed questions about who will actually perform your treatment, who is legally responsible for your warranty, and what happens if the work needs to be redone multiple times. Get every promise in writing before proceeding. Do not go don’t listen to anyone’s lies and fake statements they tell you. Don’t listen to anyone’s lies of their fake bs promises. They are all fraud and do not care about your mouth pain treatment nothing. All they want is the money. Once they are payed and you reach out with any problems they ghost you and do not reply. Save the time stress and most importantly the nightmare you will have with them.
I sincerely hope no other patient has to experience what I have gone through. There has been multiple cases with similar issues and they are all a nightmare. There are videos on social platforms about some and I personally will make mine. I have documentations of everything that has happened in every message sent back-and-forth from treating clinic and Dentakay.
Also I know they are trying to go in partnership with another clinic in Mexico so beware of that also it’s no good. Choose your dental clinic wisely and don’t make the mistake me and other people have…

My experience with Dentakay was absolutely fantastic from getting picked up at the airport and the staff were absolutely brilliant and so re assuring. I want to give a very special mention to peter who is the guy who convinced me to come over and have my treatment and honestly without his help and guidance I would not have followed through it on my own, he stayed in contact with me every single day since I said I was going to go and he’s stayed in contact with me ever since, so I want to thank him so much for everything he’s done and being so advisable for anything I’m not sure off he’s there to answer any questions I’ve had or still have so thank you so much Peter and thank you Dentakay it’s been a fantastic experience and I’ll see yous in a few more months to finish my final treatment

Um mich zu Informieren traf ich mich mit den Mitarbeitern von Dentakay in Salzburg, wo ich eine Beratung erhalten habe. Nach dem Gespräch flog ich nach Antalya wo ich bei meinem erst Termin Nochmal untersucht und beraten wurde. Gleich am 1. Tag begannen sie mit der Behandlung! Ich hatte insgesamt 4 Behandlungstage und ich muss sagen das ich kein einziges mal Schmerzen hatte. Ich war so positiv überrascht ! Bin normaler Weise ein Angstpatient, der nur dann zum Zahnarzt ging wenn es sein musste!!!
Ich habe 4 Implantate bekommen in insgesamt 25 zirconium Kronen!
Die 2. Behandlung hatte ich nach 3 Monaten, nach Verheilung der Implantate . Auch diesmal kein einziger Schmerz !
Nach 3 Behandlungtagen flog ich glücklich nach Hause !
