I stupidly put the wrong postcode on my order and the delivery driver couldn’t find the address. Customer services at Denby sorted it all out for me. They located the package, changed the address and re delivered without charging me any extra. Really impressed with the service.

Visited denby pottery village again today.
Don't think the women in the factory shop,could have been anymore ŕude or abrupt. Very unfriendly.
It must be something that was in their job description, as they've got it off to a tee.

But thankfully the ladies in the cafe, are friendly and the cake is always good.
Such a shame this place is going.

I was very pleased with Dendy and would always consider buying something from them, as the quality was very good. Unfortunately, the company website is no longer live.

I place my order for some spare/replacement bowls. Even though it took a little bit longer for them to be sent I was fully aware of the “difficulties” Denby was experiencing at the time. It saddens me to hear the almost inevitable staff members losing their jobs, but the important thing is that a household name stays in business. Good luck to all those involved and I’m sure those who have lost their jobs should find work with Denby in your CV.

I fully appreciate this company is closing and I feel for the staff. That being said i placed an order beginning of May with a 15-20 working day delivery. I chased it on working day 20 to be told all orders had been extended to 35 working days. I waited until the 35th working day and chased again to be told the payment has expired and asking me to call up and pay via card or send a paypal payment to them. This sounds so dodgy. Nothing on their website, no generic email to say payments have expired due to delays and they want me to just transfer money to them. I have since requested they cancel my order.. but if you've waited over 20 days for your order and still haven't got it. You won't!!

I spent hundreds of pounds on my order of dinnerware for my new house, back in May. I was so excited as have not treated myself to a set like that before. I have still not received it. I tried emailing, was sent an automated response to say it was on its way but still haven't received it. I rang, but was told the phonelines are not being answered. I am now thinking I am never going to get my order and I cannot afford to buy again. So disappointed, feel scammed.

We have followed Denby products for many years and have always admired the craftsmanship and long standing quality of every item we have purchased. It is terribly sad to see this remarkable organization with their fine craftsmen end distribution. Wish it wasn’t so. We will continue to enjoy our Denby pieces and pass them on to the next generation with information about their origins. Our best wishes to everyone at Denby. You will be missed. Thank you!

Sad that this great historic company is now gone after so many years of producing beautiful ceramics. As a family we have used the same set of crockery literally for decades minus a few breakages from being clumsy. Always replaced these plus added extras over the years. Hopefully our set will last on throughout the coming years.

Heartbreaking that this country is losing this gem of a pottery. For generations we have used Denby pottery , always superb quality and lovely designs. Such quality is hard to find. I will treasure all of my Denby pottery and leave it to my children and grandchildren. Thank you all at Denby for the excellent quality of service and pottery.

You kept me updated about my delivery time. goods were well packaged and arrived in pristine condition. We have shopped at Denby for over 20 years and always have a good experience both online and at the pottery. we will miss you and wish all your staff well for the future.

I have to give a shout out to my favourite customer service agent, I'm so, so sorry that Denby is closing down and people like this will not be out there doing a wonderful job! The name your looking for is Chris Randall! He is an absolute legend. This gentlemen will go out of his way to ensure you get a top class service and he does it all with a bit of grace and a smile. Always helpful, always up for solving a customer problem. I wish all customer service agents/managers etc... were like you.

Lovely high-quality items. The stuff I bought 40 years ago is still fine, and great new stuff too.
Took quite a long time to arrive, sadly a company under pressure

Everything from the online ordering system to the packaging and delivery of wonderfully high quality products.

Placed order on 17 May got an email confirmation that products have been shipped on 12 June but no DPD tracking number, payment taken out of my bank account on same day but still no sign of my order, to date. Emailed several times with no response. Extremely, extremely frustrating!! When you consider Denby's public plea through their unfortunate turbulent times and their longevity in the service they provide, how can they get it so wrong?

I have not had a problem with Denby pottery orders in the past and have always loved their stoneware pottery. However, I made 2 orders at the beginning of May. I was advised they had been shipped and payment was taken. Yet over 2 weeks (12/6/26) since apparently shipped, no messages or acknowledgement from DPD their delivery service. It has been over 35 business days since I made my orders. I emailed Denby customer service a few times as no phone lines open but was just fobbed off. How long do I have to wait?. They said they can cancel my order!!! I advised them I want the items I ordered. What is going on?

Even 1 star is far too good for them. I order 4 pieces on the 15th May still waiting. No communication whatsoever no response to email, they don’t answer their phones, have to now claw a refund from them

So sad to hear of Denby’s troubles so decided to buy some replacement items - took a little while to arrive but they warned me that it might take some time, they did not charge until despatch and when the order did arrive the china was beautifully packaged and the quality was excellent. Hope they can keep the business going somehow.
