They do a lot of fake and misleading advertisment - one thing on the shelves and something different on the till. Just walk into a different shop.

If I could give lower I would.
First time shopping in your store/company and it will probably will be my last time.
I needed to buy new smart shoes.
Well if you want an in store experience but the lack of customer forcused as you might find shopping online then this is the place for you.
Hardly any stock available.
Cleanliness furniture seating stained with who knows what. Rubbish on the floor and food cartons left, staff not cleaning as they go around the store.
I was struggling with my disability, putting on footwear and instead of offering help the male red haired staff member ignored me as he walked past twice.
Didn't offer any support or customer forcused experience.
Their only care seemed to be chatting and changing prices which took all 3 staff members.
Price changes are important to be completed quickly, but companies should at least leave two members of staff to be able to help the customers who have come to a physical store and not shopped online.
FYI I'm an Ex retail manager for JD Stores group.
Which I think I'll do if I ever decide to shop with this company in the future as their store are not worth driving to Eastbourne.

SHOCKING. I bought 2 pairs of trainers, 1 pair sketchers. Both trainers soles disintegrated in 6 weeks. DO NOT BUY.

A staff member (tall Asian girl) with brown hair loudly shouted “No riding in here” across the store and pointed at us, which was embarrassing and unnecessary. I understand rules, but this could have been said politely.
I felt uncomfortable and left without buying anything. Staff need better customer service training.

Deichmann had an offer on Skechers for "buy one and get one at half price". However, the promo code, despite having been applied to my order basket got pulled off right in the middle of the ordering process, before the end of my order!
This was on bank holiday Monday and the day had NOT yet ended. Luckily, I took screenshots as evidence knowing that “sharp practice” by companies is now quite rampant in the UK.
Also, the second promo code EASTER20 that was already applied on my order basket got removed from one of the items despite having been previously applied to all items.
I called the customer service number they provided but the call went unanswered for 50 minutes before it abruptly got disconnected.
Also, none of their stores ever takes calls! Not the sign of a serious business, or one that actually cares about its reputation or its customers.
This was my first experience shopping with Deichmann and hopefully will be the last. Reading some of the 1-star & 2-star reviews, plus the bland, unapologetic “copy and paste” replies shows this is NOT a good company to spend your money with.
How I wish I’d read the one-star reviews on Trust pilot about this company. I’d probably have saved myself the awful experience I suffered. I despise dishonesty and a lack of integrity!

Ordered shoes for click and collect, order was completed on the site but I never got a confirmation email and in the 'my orders' section on their website nothing shows up. Messaged customer service who said they'd look in to it, days later still no response. Can't cancel the order on the website as I don't have an order number, can't cancel the payment as it's stuck in processing. Can't talk to customer service on the phone as they don't answer, feels like a scam tbh!

I ordered this school shoes and they are already damaged in different places, and has not been even a week. The stitches on the velcro are coming off, they lost colour in different parts in both shoes.
Very very poor quality!!

Great shop in Torquay and staff can't do enough for you.Returns are very easy and will help you in any way they can.I would recommend this shop.The manageress is very friendly and helpful 😀 👍

Helpful store assistant got me a pair of trainers in the size I wanted and took them to the till. After declining the additional treatment which would supposedly make them more durable and dirt-proof (if so - why aren’t they all treated in the factory?), she explained that if I down loaded the app and signed up for ‘plus’ I would get an additional £10 off. I downloaded the app and it simply would not work. She call the supervisor over and explained the problem to her. She simply was not interested in helping me or her colleague. No offer of solutions or what to do next. Just a vinegar-faced scowl. She simply walked off and was more interested in depositing an empty coffee cup in a bin outside the store. She never came back. As a consequence I left without making a purchase.

Went to my local Deichmans today to look for a pair of trainers I have loved for ages size 8 seems unobtainable in their shops very polite staff but advised they dont get many size 8 yet counted at least 6 pairs of trainers size 9 and 10 even one a size 11 how many women have feet that size Please think again about your sizes

Collected my boots (pre ordered from Bristol) I talked to Callum about some shoes I liked and he was very helpful, checking stock for me, he was patient and helped me choose a lovely pair of shoes. He then gave me my order from Bristol, lovely boots - he talked about protection of my Suede shoes and boots, which I was pleased about as I had forgotten about that. Callum, Thank you - I kept changing my mind and you never once made me feel as if I was taking up your time. A true professional. I have dealt with this company and their staff in Somerset and Wakefield all week and all staff were very helpful.

Ordered shoes - they never arrived contacted customer services and got a standard reply waited another two days so I contacted them again to be told they were looking in to it but unable to update me - asked for my money back and was told it would take up to 5 days - staff unhelpful and don’t seem to be worried about customer care - bad experience and will not be shopping at Diechmann ever again
