Hi We received an item which we sent back at our own expense at the Beginning of August and they acknowledged they received it but still have not received a refund after several emails sent to them and now they are ignoring the emails

Do not use this company, it is all sent from China, poor quality and no refund. All communication is through AI.
Do not waste your hard earned money on these scammers.
The reply to this is also AI generated as I have contacted them numerous times.

But then you email and they don’t email back. You will never get a refund from this company. Not English, Chinese rubbish!

Took longer than stated and tried to cancel but then was told it had been despatched. When the brown linen shirt arrived it was nothing like the picture and extremely poor quality which went straight in the bin! Total scam!

The trousers were slightly long, but tailoring sorted that easily.

What a rip off. Everything about the site screams UK then they ship cheap quality goods from China and if you want to return tell you to send back to China at a ridiculous price. Complete scam of a website. The shirt I ordered came weeks late and was very poor quality and th service was even worse. Absolutely do not waste your money on this company who pretends to be British but is just a front for Chinese products

This is a SCAM website!! I ordered a shirt, which took over a month to arrive, after it finally arrived they had sent me the wrong product. They then refused to refund me, stating that I must return the product to china, at a cost of £50 (more than the cost of the shirt itself!), and following return they can refund me…yeah right.
They told me that all this information is in their “returns policy”. However, on looking at their returns policy they clearly state "Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.” And “If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or not what you ordered — we’re genuinely sorry. Please contact us right away at info@daveandcarter…, and we’ll make it right as quickly as possible at no extra cost to you” … as it turns out this is untrue…
Another month later I am still trying to get my money back.
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

DO NOT BUY from this company, item was not as described, poor quality , returns have to go to China at your expense and have been chasing a refund for 20 days ....AI generated responses, keep telling me waiting for updates..... despite tracked proof of return .
Update 1 month on , still no refund ....despite reply below , just constantly told its being processed.... its over 2 months since returned AS PER THEIR INSTRUCTIONS....
UPDATE....Had to raise issue via my bank for refund as they have not replied to emails or refunded.... have left to my bank to pursue

Ordered clothes 2 weeks before a holiday they didnt arrive until after the holiday wouldn't send returns form kept offering me 20% off next order then 70% off next order and then said I had to pay £50 to return items back even though the clothes was worth 79

The company is absolutely untrustworthy! Their website claims to deliver in the UK within 3-5 business days. I believed that and placed order. After 14 days passed, when I started chasing, they told me that their policy is to supply between 7-14 business days. Which is a incorrect and misleading against their written policy. Then they claimed that the shipping will come from china and it takes time. Then they dropped a packet to my door that has arrived from an UK location. And now they are demanding £50 to process the return mentioning that it will go back to china. They also claim that this is clearly written in their return policy - which is a lie!

This website is a scam. The items come from China and look nothing like the photos advertised. When you contact customer services, the responses are all AI generated and they do not accept returns despite claiming they do. As others have mentioned, you can't reverse the payment even if you payed on credit card and contact your provider. Please do not purchase anything from here.

Their clothes are of a pretty poor standard. Also, their return policy is misleading. Return goods cost more than the item purchased. Return goods have to be sent to China. There is no mention of this on their website.

This is worst experience for me dealing with customer service of any online retailer. They clearly misled me with incorrect information on their delivery policy when I enquired about delay in delivery. Then when asked for cancellation and refund, they kept avoiding in responding my query and kept writing that they will eventually get the delivery. It’s about 3 weeks and I’m still kept on waiting. Formal complaint is on the way to watchdog to block the retailer for lying about return policy.

Bought a black linen shirt to wear to a funeral the following week. Shirt arrived three weeks after order and the quality and fit were appalling. I was told, after complaining about delivery time to check their Ts and Cs, which actually stated they would process order in a few days and deliver within a week. When I tried to arrange a return I was told this would be at my own cost to a warehouse in China! Happy to pay for returns, but not to China! Again, they said check their Ts and Cs but NO mention of having to return to a foreign address. Tried to instigate legal action but they have no UK entity, so not possible. Shoddy company, shoddy product, fraudulent Ts and Cs. Avoid at all costs. When I started complaining strongly they stopped replying. Scammers. Avoid.

And, after my review, the same response they've sent to EVERY negative review. So, Dave & Carter, you've ignored my last four emails, why would the next one be any different? Refund my purchase and you might get an extra star, but to be honest I'd rather people saw the true grifters you really are. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SHARKS.

Fraudulent website , very poor quality , Their website name and images doesn’t match with what they sold us , it says UK BUT Company is in CHINA .
You can’t return the product if you don’t like it as their company is in China . your postage fee will be more than what you bought so you will give up , and not trustable whether you will get the refund even though you return it to their company in China .
I'm writing to warn others about Dave and Carter Uk . Not reliable website .

Truly appalling quality tee shirt.Was going to sent it back but told it had to go to China factory at s cost of about £30.Arrived scrunched up in a plastic bag with no delivery note and the garment had no makers label if any sort.Customer service not interested and just offered a discount on next order.Why would I want to order another lids of rubbish.Truly it was not even fit enough to go to the charity shop and regrettably consigned to the bin.
