I’ve been intrigued with the social media ads from Dance Masterclass that I’ve seen, particularly around the science of flexibility and science of turnout for a while. I finally watched one of the longer trailer videos. And my curiosity for joining the platform was piqued even more. Then I saw the live class schedule and decided to give the platform a try. This was 2 weeks ago and I have not been disappointed! The educational components around anatomy and physiology have been fantastic to take. There is also plenty of material to choose from to work on strengthening and improving one’s dance skills via asynchronous classes and workouts. But what I love the most is the opportunity to participate in online live classes. The instructors are all wonderfully attentive and clearly experienced professionals with amazing technique to aspire to. But more than that, they are great instructors! Teaching online is never easy, but these instructors make it look effortless and are warm and giving instructors. :) Can’t wait to continue growing and learning as a dancer (dare I say as an older dancer, too!).

I'm using Dance Masterclass to further train my strength and mobility, and to learn ballet at my own pace. It's a superb resource! The exercises are clear, short, and feel very achievable. The ballet lessons and masterclasses are so artistically put together. They are easy for a beginner to follow and have lots of room for me to grow in ballet.

And a must have for those serious about Dance whether that be learning and/or teaching.
I do not know where I can access such value, therefore in my opinion makes this Dance masterclass priceless.

We have been having so much fun on dance master class and there is a ton of resources for all types of dancers. We thoroughly enjoy learning from so many different pros too. Its like Netflix for dance.

Amazing app for improvement in knowledge as well as in technique. All recommendations.

Dance Masterclass is a great place for dancers of different levels. I like that there are classes about specific skills (like turn out, pirouette turns, etc), which are helpful for me since I started ballet as an adult and I don't have strong technical foundation.

One thing I don't like this much is that stretching and work out classes are compilations of exercises with the voiceover to guide you and not actual teacher doing the class with you. But I an not lowering the rating for that because exercises themselves are great.

Wonderful coursework, outstanding instructors, dedicated and helpful support team, and quality production of the online coursework presentations. Amazing and excellent all around.

I started taking ballet classes as a child. Over time, I came to understand that ballet is much more than “just” fitness - it helps me navigate life.
Staying with ballet, however, is not easy when studies, professional challenges, relocations and building a family come into play.
With DanceMasterclass, I found a very good solution over the past year - one that combines quality with great flexibility. I can choose from a wide range of workouts / classes depending on what suits me at a given moment. The sessions share a consistent look and rhythm, yet remain varied, and it’s easy to flow into the routines I need. I also feel part of a community.
Recently, Live Classes have been added, including weekends, with excellent teachers and a dancer whose exercises you can follow on screen while the teacher gives corrections, on top accompanied by live piano. The whole setup is highly professional, both technically and artistically, and it feels like a privilege to be able to continue and deepen my ballet practice in this way.

Loving my experience with Dance Masterclass. Renowned dance teachers and beautiful video classes. Not just the usual ballet class , but substance for those that take dance seriously.

Thanks to this platform, I’m learning how to assess myself as a dancer, and how to progress with the right and safe knowledge.
For me, it is really the gold standard among the dance platforms I know. 100% worth the price.

J'adore le choix et la qualité des masterclasses proposées sur ce site. La progression ainsi que la pédagogie y sont excellentes. Par ailleurs, les vidéos sont de grande qualité. On constate immédiatement qu'un grand soin a été attaché à leur réalisation.

Die Plattform bietet viele verschiedene Unterrichtseinheiten: Follow Along Classes, spezifische Anleitungen für bestimmte Elemente zum Beispiel Drehungen, Theorie, Anatomie und Workouts. Ich benutze seit 2 Jahren vorallem die App als Ergänzung und Erweiterung zu meinem Training. Zu mir ich tanze auf fortgeschrittenem Level aber nicht professionell. Ich finde die verschiedenen Lehrer super und es gibt sogar Korrekturen. Ich hoffe es wird bald noch weitere Klassen geben, vielleicht auch mit Fokus auf Bein Höhe mit mehr Adagio. Das könnte ich noch gut gebrauchen. Auch noch mehr von den Videos zum Variationen lernen und Spitze. Es gibt jetzt sogar live classes an denen man teilnehmen kann, aber das muss ich noch ausprobieren. Bei Problemen ist der Kundenservice auch sehr schnell und total freundlich. Dance Masterclass ist wirklich eine tolle Plattform für Tänzer von Tänzern und ich kann sie nur weiterempfehlen.

I'm really enjoying the workouts, though most of them are the same movements, just in different orders. So if you're looking for a variety in your workouts, it's a bit redundant. I do like them because the exercises are meant to serve a specific purpose, like increasing your turnout or improving your balance for arabesque. They make my body feel really good with low impact.
Sometimes the workout narrator misspeaks by saying a move is going to be on the right side when the screen says "left", or when she says "adduction" when the workout model is performing abduction. There is a typo here and there in the titles as well.
I also like that the workouts are "bite-sized", no more than 20-25 minutes, most are just 10 minutes. So you can do an effective 10-minute workout if you're having an off day, or you can group a couple of workouts together on a better day.

I don't think the ballet classes on this platform are for people with absolutely no ballet experience (at this time!!). The beginner-level dance classes can be a bit frustrating at times, especially learning and the recalling combinations. However, I really love it as a supplement to my in-person adult beginner classes, which I've been taking for about a year now. It does help me with my short-term memory and learning combos.

The idea of a platform that gathers knowledge on all relevant subjects of dance as well as interactive content for the users progression such as workouts and exams is brilliant!

This is human based no ai at all! It is very easy and fast to get answer from support and customer service from a real person!
If you want to have a better quality of life with dance ballet theme this is for you! Lessons are well researched from real professionals. Visualisation helps me to understand more. I Miracast this app from my phone to my TV. I want to study to be a ballet teacher so this is a really big help and helps me to teach healthy dancers.

I was drawn to Dance Masterclass by YouTube’s algorithm and couldn’t resist subscribing. As a performer and instructor, this platform has multiple avenues to improve my art form and process — a worthwhile investment for the busy adult looking to fit more movement into their tight schedule.
