We had not been using our streaming service and had forgotten about the automatic renewal. I was so encouraged to deal with an honest company that understood our mistake and cancelled our subscription a day after the renewal date. Very good customer service!
Excellent customer support
Excellent customer support from Franz on the chat feature. My subscription purchase wasn't great tho. The purchase price was never disclosed before or after I signed up for a one year subscription. Even the receipt did not list what had been transacted to my card. I had to go into my bank account. This problem and an issue about the cost of the subscription led me to customer service. I gave a 5 star review because of the excellent support I received after contacting chat support.
The content and streaming service are great and what I was hoping for. I'll keep this for a year. I could not find a way to turn off auto pay except to cancel the subscription.

Cancellation and Refund
I was no longer using the streaming service but had failed to cancel my membership. When I noticed that I had been billed for another year I reached out and without a hassel they were able to cancel my membership and issue a full refund. They didnt have to do this but they did and it is really appreciated.
Great customer support
I was having a very frustrating issue with a login issue on the Roku app. I was pretty sure I had tried everything, but customer support was able to help me troubleshoot my issue.

10/10 customer service. Upon needing to cancel a subscription due to finical hardship the Customer Support team via Facebook, and subsequently email, were professional and prompt and we came to a workable solution for both parties ASAP.

Customer Service as good as the product
I went to the site after a prompt from DirectTV Streaming. I couldn't find the details I was looking for so jumped on chat and was instantly connected to Marlo. I got all my questions answered quickly and completely. Now just to tell my husband about it, and agree that we should do this, him for science and me for art and history. I am sure we will sign up.

A wonderful streaming service, but didn't play well with my Android phone
I love CuriousityStream's content/programs. Very interesting and informative. However, with my Android OS, even after I had logged off the app, excerpts from previously viewed content would pop in unbidden and begin to play, overriding the audio book to which I was listening. I had to uninstall the app and reboot my phone. When I reported this to Customer Support, they initially canceled my subscription but did not offer a refund. My subscription was only 2 days old, and I reported the problem immediately. Normally they do not give refunds for renewals or auto-renewals, but my sign-up was from an e-mail offering a discount and a "we miss you, won't you come back" type message. Once I explained THAT, I was given a full refund immediately.

I was surprised to see a renewal for a yearly subscription to Curiosity since I had forgotten I had subscribed. That said; My experience chatting with their customer service representative could not have been more helpful. The rep was exceedingly pleasant and efficient and most of all helpful!
