house and pool room were ideal for our family but older kids were disappointed that the dart board had been taken out. the conservatory could do with a ceiling fan and magnetic mesh curtain to help with the heat and flies

I am sorry to hear the dart board had been taken out and your older children were disappointed. Unfortunately we were not made aware of this. We will pass your recommendations on to the owner regarding the fan and mesh curtain. We are pleased however you still enjoyed your stay at The Farmhouse, Sedbergham and hope we can welcome you back again in the future.

This was our second stay here, after a short stay after Christmas. We loved it so much we booked to return in summer. The house is absolutely perfect, a true home from home with everything you could want or need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location is fabulous and we loved our visit, we can’t wait to come back again soon! Many thanks.

Thank you for a lovely review of Green Beck Cottage in Coniston, we hope we can welcome you back to one of our cottages again in the future.
Beautiful place
Beautiful place, gorgeous views. Plenty of space and equipment for cooking, eating and relaxing. Great location - near Grasmere, but far enough away to be quiet and with great walks from the door without needing a car. Only suggested improvements would be was a washing line / more hanging space in the boot room and a working light at the bottom of the stairs for better safety.
