We’ve had this couch for almost one year now. It hasn’t held up like we thought. While it’s comfortable, it is NOT pet friendly like advertised. It’s easy to clean which is nice. We ordered the basalt color and it was much lighter online than in person.

Hi Ashley, thank you for sharing your experience after almost a year with your Ciello XL. We’re glad it’s been comfortable and easy to clean, but we’re sorry the fabric hasn’t felt as pet-friendly as you expected.
Basalt is water- and stain-resistant, though it does have a wider weave. With cats or dogs who frequently use the sofa, claws can sometimes catch the fabric and lead to additional maintenance over time. We understand that may not have been what you anticipated when making your choice.
We appreciate the candid feedback and will make sure it’s shared with our Product Development team as we continue improving our fabrics and how we communicate their performance in homes with pets.
