Delivery took forever then got a bill…
Delivery took forever then got a bill from FedEx for various costs Inc import duty which was only a portion of it. Whole thing was a shambles. Emailed company got gerenic replies. Will not use again. Such a shame as first delivery 6 months earlier was great. That came from france this one can.e from Portugal.

There was indeed a delay in sending your order, the address you provided was not complete and only 5 days after our request we received a response.
Regarding the payment of fees, I inform you that in the Brexit agreement between the EU and the UK it was defined that orders coming from the EU to the UK would be free of fees up to £135. Now your order exceeds this value, so UK customs charged the amount in question.

Ordered stuck in customs due to incorrect documents supplied by the company
Ordered infant formula as running low. It was supposed to arrive 4 days ago. Called TNT (Fedx) to see why the items haven't been delivered and tracking says they arr still at their local Stansted facility. I was told the commercial invoice paperwork had not been completed by cosmetics2go, and they needed to upload the document for items to clear custom.
Emailed them to request that this is completed to be told there is nothing they can do if it is stuck in customs. Common response I can see from them from reviews. Makes me wonder why their items continuously have custom issues, maybe deliberate??

Any item sent outside the EU is not accepted by the logistics operator if the invoice is not in its computer system. The invoice is necessary to pass the exit customs and the entry customs.
I checked and the invoice was sent to TNT (Fedex) on the day the order was shipped, as usual. The order left our warehouse on the 20th and arrived in Stansted on the 21st and was in Standsted until the 31st, the date on which it was sent to your address, having been delivered on the 3rd. As soon as we were informed of the need for the invoice, on the 22nd, we sent the invoice back to TNT, so there was no reason for the delay.
We do everything we can to ensure that orders are quickly delivered to our customers. Taking deliberate actions so that customers do not receive their orders does not make much sense. You have received your order. And when this doesn't happen, we refund customers. Always.
I'm sorry it took so long to receive your order and for that reason we made a formal complaint to TNT.

Late delivery
I order sun cream on 2 April for a holiday departing on 15 April, and paid £12 for express delivery of 1-4 working days to ensure delivery before my holiday. The products were not delivered before our holiday so we had to buy again from a shop in the resort. When I complained to Cosmetics2go they simply sent a patronising response saying that delivery can sometimes be delayed (they were sent from Portugal, which wasn't made clear at the point of ordering), but they wouldn't offer a refund of the express delivery charges. We won't be using them again.

I'm sorry you had to pay duties or taxes on your order. What was established post-Brexit between the EU and the UK is that orders originating in the EU and destined for the UK would not be subject to any tax or fee if the value did not exceed £135.
Despite this, we have occasionally received some information from customers that UK customs is charging fees and taxes below this value. We regret that this happens and that UK Customs is being discretionary when it comes to charging duties and taxes. However, it is impossible for us to have any influence on this process and the decision can only be challenged by the recipient of the order.
