I'm sorry you had to pay additional taxes to receive your order. In the post-Brexit agreement, shipments originating in the EU and arriving in the UK, below £135, must not pay taxes or customs fees. Your order was greater than this value. It is the buyer's responsibility to know the rules for purchases made outside their country. Still regarding the £135 limit, I inform you that customs decisions are discretionary and we are aware that sometimes UK customs charges taxes and fees below this value. Post-Brexit, imports from the EU to the UK are free of customs duties for amounts below £135, which did not happen in the case of your order.

At the checkout on our website, there is very clear information that customs fees and taxes may be charged by the customs office of the destination country.
In the case of the UK, the post-Brexit agreement defined that orders from Europe to the UK below 135 pounds do not pay any customs duties or taxes. Your order was much higher than that value, so the payment you made did not go to Fedex or shipping, it was just customs fees and taxes for the UK government. Fedex is only responsible for receiving these amounts and delivering them to customs.
