Content Unicorns ripped me off for $399.00. I dealt with Andrew Parker, and I am starting to suspect HE is AI as well as his company!!! I prepaid to have them take my book and create an audiobook from it. First, they do not have actual people doing this, as I was told. It is all done by AI! I could have gotten an app to do that for $40.00! Then, I was told my complaints about the AI mistakes in reading my book, such as mispronounced words and choppy speech, would be corrected, that someone would read through the book and listen to it, and make the corrections. That was the last I heard from them! Ghosted. I have no acceptable finished product and no money! DO NOT ADVANCE THIS COMPANY ANY MONEY. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET IT BACK!!! This company delivers a crappy product and when you try to get it fixed, they ghost you!

I have left numerous messages for Andrew Parker and have not received any response whatsoever. I have no choice but to move forward with legal action against Mr. Parker and Content Unicorns. NEVER use this company!!!

I contacted Content Unicorns for my first ever book publishing task since it was not possible for me to manage everything myself. It turned out to be the best decision considering the price, the support and the delivery turnaround, everything was above expectations. I am amused to see the positive reviews for Content Unicorns, they deserve the recognition.

I paid for a audiobook which is now well over a year. They do not respond nor have done what was agreed and paid in full

Andrew Parker has been my contact and expect one of two things
1). A full refund
2). Complete project in full

At this time I only shall leave a negative comment and highly suggest not to use this company

Currently filing a lawsuit for failure to provide a refund after stating refund will be issued due to inability to meet the terms of the contract.
This company is a complete fraud. Do not use them. I will also post all over social media. Save yourself the headache.

Incredible PR agency that understands how to work with small brands. I understand the delay in such nature of business where everythings needs to be approved and authorized at each step of the publishing, but the end result is phenomenal. Content Unicorns team is truly professional and works their a** off to get things done, in the right way!

I see recent negative reviews and most of them are baseless except the one where the customer himself shared his experience, rest of the comments are totally biased which people have done in their friend's favor. I openly say, they never miscommunicated anything. They already told it will be a AI-Powered human voiceover which will be exactly like human not robotic voice and they delivered what they said, if someone was expecting a human voiceover for 400 or 500, they must be living in a fool's paradise. they send me detailed NDA with terms of service and it clearly says the audio will be human AI generated, and there is nothing wrong in that. Trustpilot should take action against people campaigning against a business and sharing reviews without even taking the service. Only the person who has taken the service has the right to post about the business not any random street walkers.

They stole money from an Autistic author and is now ghosting him. In addition. that Autistic author and myself gave them a negative review on Facebook and they BLOCKED us both. Still no contact with the author to refund his money.

I can only speak for the audiobooks side of Content Unicorns. They don't tell you that it's just an AI robo-voiceover and not a real person, which is why it was cheaper. This was AFTER I paid them ~$359 (60% down payment). I suppose there's nothing inherently wrong with AI audiobooks, but I didn't want my books to have an AI reader. I reluctantly OK'd them doing an audiobook for my first book and hoped for the best. However, it took several months (from early June to November 2024) and I still hadn't heard from them. Therefore, something was fishy. I sent them an email, followed by another one a month later, and they wouldn't respond, yet I saw them open each one many times, according to Mailsuite! By the end of December, there was no other alternative choice but to accept that they are scammers. I warned them beforehand and after not responding to another email, I exposed them in a big YouTube video with screenshots for evidence (and a lot more details of what happened). That didn't cause them to give me a refund, even though I originally offered that they keep $60 for what they did in the beginning. They still ignored me after I said that I would report them to the BBB and FTC, which was the next resort. As of now, I'm pursuing a Small Claims Court to get my money back.

Being a Montessori teacher who has published loads of children's coloring books, I was struggling lately with creating dragon illustrations so I hired these guys and they did a terrific job.

I was pleasantly surprised by the guidance offered by John at Content Unicorns. It was a little confusing at first, doing it all by email. The first person that worked with me was not on the same page as I was, so when Michael took over it quickly came together. I had already had editing done, so this was about getting it formatted and ready for publication. I was confused a few times and my copy was not the same as what John was seeing. He patiently directed me to view it differently on my computer and we successfully made the necessary changes. I appreciated that there were no deadlines, they were able to work with my schedule and return with something new as often as necessary until I was satisfied. When ready to publish it went directly to Amazon and did not require me to go through all the paperwork to make it happen. That was a breeze. I wasn't really sure what to expect when I signed up since there are often things on the internet that say they will do something but then don't. This was the real deal. I am grateful.
