Wrong information so quote and price wrong

Wrong information given to insurance company for home insurance.Paid. Didn't find out until checking documents cost £27 more to fix otherwise insurance would have been invalid. Rewards slow. I would not trust this company. l would not recommend anyone to use them. There replies to complaints are just standard replies blaming you for their mistakes.

Things go Wrong

As many times before I used your site to search for quotes. I chose this one clearly stating the renewal date I had given you
On completion, and given no opportunity to give the desired start date on their site, I found the broker had started the insurance 15 days early saying it was based information you had supplied,
I now have overlapping insurance policies wasting my money and potential trouble should a claim arise.

Renewal

The contact gave me quotation from Ageas which is a big improvement on last years policy. I have already taken out insurance with them well in advance of the renewal date.

An absolute nightmare keep ringing on different numbers when I was only looking for a quote. Do not ask for quotes if you don’t want to be rang from numerous numbers a lot!

Insurance amount changed on visit 2

Email received after a search saying valid for 10 days but within time when I visited site again, amount changed for insurance. Plus another 2 sites gave same results so seems like you are losing your edge.

Open the app: Start by downloading or opening the Confused.com app from your device's app store/play store.

Claiming: Go to the "Rewards" section, log in, tap "Claim my reward" and complete the required questions on the reward claim form.

Timeline: We then need to verify your policy details (like your policy number and insurer). This can take up to 14 working days.

Make sure your push notifications are on so we can let you know when your reward is verified! You can then redeem your wallet balance for a brand of your choice.

Reward not received

UPDATE: I have emailed the address you mentioned but no one got back to me. I emailed that 2 weeks ago.

I have purchased my car insurance as I was told I would get a reward (amazon voucher or something). It's been 2 weeks, I have tried emailing Confused.com, contacted Instagram, etc etc and no one got back to me. I have purchased in the past with money supermarket and the reward was so straightforward. Never again!!!!

Overall brilliant and easy to use service. Only thing I would say is the black box filter should be a lot clearer and obvious to find as its kind of hidden away at the end of your searches.

Buy your own morning coffee

If you use Confused because of their "rewards" scheme, don't expext much in the way of customer service.
They now have your money and parting with the promised rewards will take forever. Indeed, a 3rd parting of the seas seems more likely.
In the age of advanced tech, these should, and could, be automated transactions meaning that as soon as payment is verified, you qualify for rewards.
So, Confused, I'm very confused over what's taking you so long, why I trusted that rewards would be forthcoming quickly and why you don't have a better process for your customers?

Update following Confused's response...I had already emailed the CEO and had a useless and unhelpful reply fobbing me off even further. Confused stated that it can take upto 14 working days to "verify" and since it is an automates process, they cannot intervene to speed it up. So they don't want to investigate at all, and this response seeks only to make them look like they give a flying fart, when in actuality, they've been taken over by their own computers who are mow running the company and don't give an electronic toss whether actual humans get free coffees.
