Buy your own morning coffee

If you use Confused because of their "rewards" scheme, don't expext much in the way of customer service.
They now have your money and parting with the promised rewards will take forever. Indeed, a 3rd parting of the seas seems more likely.
In the age of advanced tech, these should, and could, be automated transactions meaning that as soon as payment is verified, you qualify for rewards.
So, Confused, I'm very confused over what's taking you so long, why I trusted that rewards would be forthcoming quickly and why you don't have a better process for your customers?

Update following Confused's response...I had already emailed the CEO and had a useless and unhelpful reply fobbing me off even further. Confused stated that it can take upto 14 working days to "verify" and since it is an automates process, they cannot intervene to speed it up. So they don't want to investigate at all, and this response seeks only to make them look like they give a flying fart, when in actuality, they've been taken over by their own computers who are mow running the company and don't give an electronic toss whether actual humans get free coffees.

Mistakes can happen

Having used the service last year for my car insurance and despite a couple of problems during the year with free drinks, I was happy to use them again this year. At least that's what I thought was happening. I completed the purchase of my insurance and then waited to be told I would be receiving my monthly award of free drinks. Nothing. I was left wondering if I'd somehow made a mistake during the process , quite likely as I'm not as young as I once was and tend to get things wrong! It's because of this I have given four stars and not five - and will double check everything next year.

I will never ever use Confused.com. The reason is their adverts are extremely over exposed expecially on youtube. Whatever the deal I will never have anything to do with them. Their ad (which is always the same one) on TV and on youtube have put me off them for life.

Used confused only because they had the…

Used confused only because they had the best Avios points amount. bough the insurance in august 2025 and now been told by Avios that confused have cancelled the Avios and have not given a reason why. cant get through to Avios to even challenge it so people beware of this as appears to be a scam on confused behalf. Will not ever buy through these lot ever again neither will any of my family. Until resolved may even cancell the insurance out of principle for mis selling.

Good website...but the bonus situation is totally unclear

I like the website..really clear and easy to use.
Good price for car insurance too - beat my renewal.
Less clear though is the situation with the £20 bonus for purchasing insurance.
The same applied when I bought home contents insurance a few weeks ago.plenty of mention of the £20 offer..then, after buying the product...absolutely nothing .
Which is disappointing as well as misleading.

Certainly left me confused

They are well-named, as confused is how they left me!
They manage to have such a lot of questions to answer and yet don't provide appropriate options for several questions ... so eventually I gave in and had to get my son to help.
The short-listed 'choices' in the resulting email were useless, since they only told me about price - not what cover was being provide at that price.
I would have expected a comparison site to present the options in a table (mor like how 'Which?' do it).
