Apalling! Handover for Meet and Greet on arrival was fine. Expecting a 20 minute wait on collectiin 4 weeks later, we were kept waiting for 2 hours for my car to be returned. 15 phone calls later, the driver appeared and simply handed the key over and walked away - no greeting or apology of any sort.

Today - 10 weeks later - I needed to park in short stay. My car was blocked from entry. On calling for help, I was told I had an outstanding parking bill of £2744. According to Heathrow parking, my car had never left the parking garage and I owed £98 per day! Do be careful people. I now have to work with the police to resolve this.

I have used loads of airport parking services over the years, but this company (Compare Cheap Airport Parking) and their operator (Parkinn at Heathrow near the Novotel Hotel) are a complete and utter cowboy outfit. There is a reason they are cheaper than the competition—they cut every single corner.Here is exactly what happened during my nightmare experience:

Zero Communication & Last-Minute Relocation:
I originally made a booking for an entirely different car park. I was never notified of any changes. It wasn’t until the actual day of my arrival, when I rang them up, that I was casually told the car park on my confirmation was no longer being used.

Complete Chaos On-Site:
Following their phone instructions, I drove to the alternative location they gave me. It looked like a completely normal car park that was drastically over-parked. There was absolutely no organization whatsoever.

Hidden Fees & VAT Tricks:
Because of their massive mix-up, time was not on my side and I was rushing to catch my flight. I was told I could pay the airport drop-off fees for both ways right then to save time. When I returned, I paid the £14 charge, only to find they tacked on an extra £2.80 for V.A.T. When I tried to sort it out on the spot, I was dismissively told the charge was correct.

Non-Existent Customer Support:
When I called Compare Cheap Airport Parking to complain, they apologised and told me to email them the receipt. I did, and heard absolutely nothing back. I called again a week later and was promised a manager would email and sort it out. Unsurprisingly, that never happened either. They completely ignored me.

Conclusion:
Do not be fooled by their low prices. This business is unorganised, untrustworthy, and has zero customer service. Avoid the stress and the hidden fees—pay a little bit more and use a proper, legitimate parking provider. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

I booked through compare cheap airport parking - parking box and unfortunately I had to cancel. A month later and I’m still waiting for a refund. Do not use this company at all, the prices are a lot cheaper for a reason. Total scam

Paid through ‘airport parking finder’
We entered the expected arrival time, we arrived an hour earlier then noted.
We called at 16:00 and followed the instructions in the email to call.
They advised as soon as possible.

16:26, I called again to be told that as we booked at 17:00 they prioritise those on a 16:00 arrival, even though I called as per instructions.
16:26 I was told 20 mins
16:52 called again to be told they were stuck in a queue getting into the car park and will be 7-10 mins
Called at 17:11 where I was told I had booked for 17:00.

They had no interest to take accountability of owning the ‘setting honest expectations’ at 16:00, car arrived with scratches and a chap that walked off as we were trying to explain our frustration to him of waiting 1 hour and 15 mins.
Wouldn’t trust or use them again.

Dreadful. I made the booking because thewebsite promised: "Stress-Free Meet & Greet parking", "5 Star Service", "Quick handover - just 5 minutes" and on return: "We track your flight for delays, car delivered to terminal in minutes"....well I can assure you that none of that was my experience. When I dropped the car off the process took over 30 minutes and I was given very little explanation or apology for the delay. This added unnecessary extra stress to the beginning of my holiday. However, on my return the experience got so much worse. I had booked some additional time to after my flight was due to land because during the booking process, I noted that the website advised I may be charged incremental costs if I was late, so I wanted to have a buffer in case the flight was delayed. Additionally I saw that they asked for my flight number during the booking process and thewebsite promises that the team track the flight arrival time, so I knew that being early should not be an issue as theteam would have tracked my flight (as most car parking and taxi companies do). I followed the process and ensured I telephoned theteam when I landed to let them know I was about to pick up my luggage. I was then told I was too early, but I should wait in the terminal and I would get a call back in 25 minutes with details about picking up my car. That call did not come so I phoned again. I kept getting repeatedly told it would be "another 20 minutes" and in total I had 34 (THIRTY FOUR!) phone calls with the team and I had to wait with my young family - I have two young children who had to wait in the terminal and car park - for over THREE HOURS before I was finally given my car keys. Over the course of three hours, I was lied to about the waiting time, told it was my fault for booking the return time too late, cut-off and hung-up on countless times on the telephone, told I was behind other customers and other customers had been prioritised, given no explanation or resolution by anybody I spoke with and at no point did anybody say "sorry" or even attempt to apologise. Is this the customer service they normally offer? If so, I don't see that detailed on the company website. What made it worse was that my car hadn't moved since we dropped it off, so it didn't even need to be driven to me, it just needed someone to give me the keys.

Absolutely appalling service – I strongly recommend you Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! booking with this company. They should be banned from operating from all airports.

I booked and paid for a Meet & Greet service, but that is not what I received. Instead it turned out to be drive to the Long Stay car park, waiting for over an hour for someone to meet us to handover the vehicle and unloading luggage and taking a bus to the terminal.

The return was even worse. Had to make over 60 calls before finally getting through to someone. I was told to take the bus to the Long Stay car park, only to find that my car wasn’t there and nobody was available to help. I was left waiting around 5 hours for my car.

There were other families who also booked with this same company and had been waiting longer.

I became so concerned that I contacted the police, and Heathrow Police eventually had to get involved to help recover the vehicle.

A completely unacceptable service and a scam of a company. Should be avoided at all costs. I paid for a Meet & Greet and received something totally different. A very stressful ordeal. Very poor communication, organisation and customer service. I strongly advise others not to book with this company.

Extremely poor return service and serious concerns over vehicle security

I used Heathrow Terminals Parking for a trip from Terminal 5 and, although the outbound process was straightforward, the return experience was absolutely terrible.

After a long transatlantic flight, I followed the instructions and repeatedly tried to telephone the company to arrange collection. Numerous calls went unanswered, leaving us waiting at Heathrow trying to get someone to respond.

When we were eventually collected and taken to the car park, the situation became even more concerning. The staff could not locate my car keys. I was actually left searching through boxes containing numerous sets of keys myself to try to find them.

I eventually found my own keys on the windscreen of another vehicle.

I find this completely unacceptable. Leaving a customer’s car keys in this manner raises very serious questions about the security of the vehicles being stored there. If my keys were accessible on another vehicle’s windscreen, what measures were in place to prevent someone else from taking them and accessing my car?

After paying for a professional airport parking service, I expect my vehicle and keys to be securely managed and available when I return. Having to make numerous unanswered calls and then personally search through boxes of keys after a long-haul flight is simply not acceptable.

I would strongly advise potential customers to think carefully about using this company, particularly if secure handling of your vehicle and keys is important to you.

This wasn’t just an inconvenience — the handling of my car keys was a serious security concern.

Whilst my car was with this company the passenger door was dented. I have videos before and after to prove this. It was impossible to speak to anyone to receive any explanation let alone any compensation. Email addresses are non existent. Phone operatives incredibly unhelpful and misleading.
THIS COMPANY SHOUKD BE INVESTIGATED AND SHUT DOWN!

DON’T BE FOOLED BY THE SAVINGS; AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Absolute shambles of a service and one of the worst companies that I’ve had the (dis)pleasure of dealing with.
I’d booked a Meet & Greet service via this company (sadly) and called the number provided 30 minutes prior to arrival at Stansted AirPort; no answer.
Arrived at the Orange Car Park to be told to make my way to the Green Car Park as it was full.
Spoke to Customer Assistance via intercom at the Green Car Park, advised to take a parking ticket and liaise with Compare Cheap Car Parking.
After multiple unanswered calls, I was finally able to speak to an advisor, only to be told that they had CANCELLED my booking.
They claimed that they had emailed me (they didn’t) and to check my email junk folder (I did; nothing there).
I was now stuck trying to find parking in a mostly full car park and potentially paying £70 a day for parking.
Thankfully, Stansted’s official parking website had the option to pre-book with a generous ‘grace period’ for entry and exit and resolved the issue upon exit at the end of my parking stay.
This experience from this terrible company made for a frustrating, stressful start to our holiday and it was only Stansted’s official parking website and their customer service team that saved the day.
Please heed my advice and do NOT waste your time or money on these cowboys!

AVOID
- On the arrival day the parking location was changed last minute
- There wasn’t anyone to show us where to park when we arrived
- We waited 20 mins and eventually a minibus turned up with people being dropped off. There was an argument with the van driver and the passengers which turned into a bit of a scuffle. The passengers said it was to do with Ghost Key issues. Not a great first impression of the operators.
- We were then dropped at the terminal

On Return:
- Over an hour wait for collection after baggage collected. 9 hr flight, arrived at 5:15 am. Baggage Collected by 6:25. No show until nearly 8. Repeatedly called driver who just kept saying 5-10 mins away, which was obviously not true.
- He then had another passenger in the van who needed dropping at terminal 4 before we were then taken to the car park. This passenger was not happy as he was going to be late.
- When we arrived at the car park, we were given the key and were told the battery was totally flat and they hadn’t jump started it. It was also blocked in by several other cars, so we had no way of moving it even if started.
- Another delay whilst the guy disappeared and eventually came back with keys to move the other vehicles blocking us in. We had jump leads in our car, and the man did move his car in so we could jump start off his car.
- Meanwhile other people returning also had flat batteries or their windows were open.
- There were other cars there that were running with windows open and their lights on for some reason.
- We did not leave th car park till 10am! We thought we would be leaving there by 7 😫🙄
ABSOLUTELY POOR, SHOCKING COMPANY

Complete scam - the parking doesn't exist and they stop taking your calls. Avoid at all cost and use Maple.

Disgraceful! Paid way in advance of travelling, had the conformation email and the contact number to call when I was 45 mins away from Heathrow. Called no less than 7 times, voicemail everytime! Arrived at level 4 terminal 2 as planned, no one there. Ended up having to use another agent! They have promised me a full refund now on 3 occasions, have recieved nothing! Nothing but scammers!!

Booked airport parking near Heathrow via a comparison website and was directed to Parking Box (location: SL3 9NU).

While my car was in their care for around 2 weeks, a tree branch fell and broke the rear windshield. I reported this immediately and was told over the phone that they would reimburse my £100 insurance excess.

Since then, I have been repeatedly told “we will pay tomorrow”, but no payment has been made and my calls are now being ignored.

I have since discovered that the comparison website used for booking appears to be operated by the same company providing the parking service, without this being clearly disclosed, which raises concerns about how independent the platform really is.

I am now having to pursue this formally to recover £100 which was already agreed.
50 minutes of waiting at drop off and 35 mins on pick up standing in freezing cold and spent 40 mins to board up rear windshield to drive over 100 miles home, their manager kept saying pick up van will be there in 7 minutes as we called number of times due to long wait in freezing cold weather.

I would recommend others to carefully check independent reviews before booking or risk your car as they don’t take any responsibility, very good at talking and promises nothing gets done, AVOID

Disgraceful experience. I arrived for my booking only to find the car park closed. I was forced to pay another parking in the last moment just to catch my flight.
​I have sent multiple emails and support tickets with proof of payment, but I am being ignored. Despite being promised a callback over the phone, no one has contacted me. They took my money and disappeared.
​Avoid this company at all costs—completely unprofessional and unreliable. I am still waiting for my refund.

Please do not use this website or read al the fine prints before booking
I paid the cancellation fee of £3 and was still charged 30% for a booking that was cancelled in less than 24 hours.

I made a booking paying the £3 cancellation fee and called back to cancel the booking after reading the reviews.
I cancelled with an hour of making the booking and when I spoke to a member of their team who was very happy to cancel my booking without informing me that I would lose 30% of what I paid.
I called during working hours and was informed by Simala to send in the reason for cancellation because if I have proof of the reason Trustpilot reviews then I will be able to get a refund.
I have sent the email five days ago and tried calling back and getting no reply.
I will not recommend this website for booking your airport parking website.
