Picture placed on a plain wall! Picture not only was light, used long strips but still the picture fell off the wall, removing the paint breaking the picture!

Emailed 3M - nothing, not even acknowledge the email!!!

Don’t bother ... easier to fill a hole from a nail than repaint a section!!!

i followed all of the instructions and still, they don’t stick on my wall (clear wall no wallpaper).

I applied the strips as shown on the packed and after watching a video just to be sure and as I removed the frame to press the tabs down it ripped the paint for the newly decorated wall (even though it had been painted 2 weeks ago as recommended).

Just use nails as they actually do less damage. So annoyed as will have to have the area re-decorated.....

Recently redecorated. Waited a month before replacing all the pictures in the house, using the clear Command hooks. I weighed every picture and all were well below the 250g maximum. After a few months, all the pictures have started falling off the walls. The hooks also take off the new paint as well. Now in the process of repainting and hammering in nails. Frustrating, damaging to the pictures and a waste of time and money.

Expensive rubbish.
Bought the shower version of bathroom hooks to hold a small tray of shampoos etc.
It says suitable for wet and humid situations.
Followed the instructions, cleaned the smooth, glazed tiles, white, with propanol (rubbing alcohol), pressed in place for 60-seconds etc.
30-minutes after having one shower, the hooks fell off with all the tray contents.
Hard to know what Command has to do with it other than "Fall off".
Save a lot of dosh and buy a cheap plastic hook and some double-sided foam tape which will probably work better.
Is this the same 3M, Scotch, that used to be top dog in adhesives, now reduced to churning out rubbishy plastic hooks and rubbishy, expensive double-sided tape.

What does work is Dow Corning "The Works" adhesive that loves wet places and sticks anything.
Wish I'd thought of that first.
I have whole shower risers fixed with with it, on tiles, no problems

3M, COMMAND DAMAGE FREE HANGING STRIPS,
This product needs to be withdrawn from sale as they are not fit for purpose. I hung 5 pictures each weighing no more than 2.5lb, I used four strips on each and they are not cheap.
They stuck to the wall fine for a few weeks then one by one in close succession three of them just fell crashing to the floor, damaging the Frames, breaking the glass and damaging the pictures.
The sticky on the strip had simply peeled off from the back of the picture sending the pictures crashing downwards, Thank god my little ones was not underneath when this happened. I have removed the other two and will never use these again as they are a Health & Safety hazard.

We have some of the older blue tabs, holding up Christmas lights, which have stayed up for more than 4 years. Using the new clear 'stronger' tabs we have put up strings to hold Christmas cards and every tab has been replaced at least once over the last couple of weeks. The new tabs are complete rubbish. Please bring back the blue ones.

Would rate it zero but 1 is the lowest you can give. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Spent 4 hours trying to hang 4 small pictures.Strip just would not adhere to wall despite following instructions precisely. Manufacturer needs to re-visit this product as it is totally not fit for purpose. AVOID.

Absolutely useless!!
I bought them to hang tinsel on my walls. I followed the instructions. The tinsel is a light-weight product and yet these command hooks can't even hold them. They fall off the walls at random times. No it's not my walls fault. They are clean and level. Some command strips have stayed but I wish I had checked out other reviews before buying. Now I'm dreading taking them down. I will never use them again

3m Commands
Useless, have smashed a number of picture frames after they randomly fell off the wall. Tried to relocate a picture to a different wall, just fell down. These things are expensive- don’t waste your money on them. I have replaced all mine with nails.
Very difficult to remove backing paper without damaging.

Rubbish
attached strips as per instructions, then decided i didn't like where i had put it, pulled on the thing to remove it as shown and it kindly pulled a big chunk of paint with it, would never buy again!

Don’t buy this product! Ruined my wall and I have a smashed clock! Who’s going to pay for this damage????

please avoid these if you have anything heavier than a calendar as i put up a small picture and within 1/2 hour fell off the wall and broke not fit for purpose

Thought it was a good product....thought wrong.

I used these to hang up large calendar/whiteboard - had to take it down the other day and when taking the strips off of the wall, it has ripped my paper. I now need to redecorate my whole dining room due to the size of the rips.

Be very careful, we hang a 40cm x 30cm watercolour that fell inexplicable despite being fitted properly. Thankfully the picture was no value, but it did cost us £35 to have it professionally framed. I would not use these again!

Excellent product. As I break more of these I buy more and each time the replacement product is in excellent condition. The product has never been defective in all the times I keep breaking them.

Hung a picture on my wall with Command Brand "damage free" hanging strips. It was well within the advertised weight limits but still fell off the wall. Command said that I should have cleaned the wall with methylated spirits so I did but again the picture fell and smashed. This time when I contacted 3M/Command to ask for compensation, they decided to ignore me and have not replied to my last four emails. I tried to post a review on their website to warn others but it was blocked by their moderators. In my opinion these products are not fit for purpose and their attitude to customer service is the worst I have ever experienced.
