I ordered a Padstow Armchair cover from comfort Works. It arrived on time but was UNUSABLE. The single short zip makes it impossible to fit onto the chair.
Customer service refused to acknowledge the obvious design fault and would not accept a return or a refund. Over £200 wasted. AVOID

I received constant communication all along the way, updates, and received my slipcover for my Pottery Barn sofa within just two weeks! The slipcover is incredibly made and far surpasses the slipcover I originally received with my sofa upon purchase from Pottery Barn. I cannot recommend this company enough!

I made the mistake years ago of getting a white couch, and for the longest time I wished I could have it recovered—until I found Comfort Works. They truly made that possible, and I couldn’t be happier with the result!

I have two very old Crate & Barrel sofas that were looking pretty shabby and cat-scratched but are still comfy so I ordered two new slipcovers from Comfort Works. It turned out that the model I ordered was incorrect - totally my own fault as they didn't have tags and I guessed the wrong one from the pictures - and the customer service was superb. I had to have them custom made - they sent me wonderfully precise directions for me to measure the sofas - and I couldn't be more pleased. They were made and shipped promptly and they fit perfectly and look wonderful - better than they did when they were new. They also cost a fraction of what new sofas would cost to buy. The patience and helpfulness of their customer service representative - his name is Alvin - was unbelievable. VERY highly recommended!

Working with Melissa at Comfort works has been such a wonderful experiences. Despite some glitches in getting measurements to them (it’s a bit of a timely process) and fabrics that were not available any longer they did a wonderful job!!
The initial covers did not fit, but they followed through with their service and we were able to resolve the issue!! Once I picked out the fabric it was no time at all until the new covers shipped. The follow-up and timeliness in each phase of production was incredible. The team is professional, concise, friendly and very patient! I couldn’t be more pleased with the end result - totally worth the effort!! TY!

Great quality great fit and great communication

There was an issue with the delivery of my slipcover and I did not receive it. It was not the fault of Comfort Works but they worked with me and sent a replacement for the missing item. The quality of the slipcover is excellent and I am very happy with it.

Comfort works was recommended to us by a friend. It was very easy to work with them. Our sofa was not in their catalog, so we opt for the custom made option. We worked with Leigh and they were very kind and patience with us. The final product feels well designed with good quality and perfectly executed. We are very happy. Highly recommended.

We ordered a custom slipcover for our Pottery Barn couch for $1000 in canvas, which was what the original slipcover was made of. When the cover arrived, it looked and felt like cheap material that would be used for outdoor furniture, not canvas, more like a plastic based material. Comfort Works claims they will make a new cover if the first one isn't satisfactory - for an additional $500! After several back and forth communications, they continued to refused to replace the cover (unless we paid the $500. The cover went into the trash and we are out $1000. Buyer beware.

J’ai commandé une housse de canapé auprès de Comfort Works, mais je n’ai reçu aucune nouvelle pendant plus d’un mois. Malgré plusieurs relances, envoyées aussi bien par e‑mail que via leur site, je n’ai obtenu aucune réponse.
Ce n’est qu’après avoir insisté à nouveau, inquiète de ne recevoir aucune information, que l’on m’a finalement répondu pour m’informer qu’il y avait eu une erreur et que ma commande n’avait pas été correctement traitée, alors même que le paiement avait déjà été débité de ma carte.
Ce qui m’a encore plus surprise, c’est qu’après cette longue période de silence, lorsque j’ai demandé l’annulation de ma commande, on m’a annoncé des frais de 30 %.
Or, je n’ai trouvé aucune mention claire de ces frais sur leur site.
En tant que cliente, il est très difficile d’accepter qu’on me présente a posteriori des conditions qui ne m’ont jamais été expliquées au moment de l’achat.
Bien que l’échange avec la personne en charge ait été poli, l’ensemble de mon expérience a été marqué par un manque de communication, un manque de transparence et un manque de considération pour le client.
J’ai également constaté que les réponses arrivent très rapidement avant de passer commande, et qu’elles reviennent tout aussi vite après avoir demandé l’annulation, mais une fois la commande passée ou lorsqu’on souhaite vérifier son avancement, il devient soudainement impossible d’obtenir une réponse.
J’ai ressenti un réel manque de sincérité dans cette manière de procéder.
Ne voyant pas de solution par simple échange d’e‑mails, j’ai décidé de publier cet avis afin que davantage de personnes soient informées de cette situation.

My experience with Comfort Works has been terrible from start to finish.

First, they advertise “free” fabric samples. That was not my experience. I had to pay for them.

They also promote free shipping, yet I was charged a significant shipping fee even though my country is not listed as one requiring additional charges.

The brand presents itself as Australian, but the products ship from China. That may not be an issue for some, but it certainly contradicts the impression created on their website.

I placed my order a month ago. It was supposedly shipped 10 days ago, and I was given a tracking number from a shipping company that appears impossible to contact. The tracking information is unclear, and my package is nowhere to be found.

I’ve reached out through their website contact form and received no response. I’ve also tried their live chat multiple times over several days, and no one has ever replied.

At this point, the lack of transparency, communication, and accountability is extremely concerning. I strongly advise potential customers to think twice before ordering.

By selecting the manufacturer of our slipcover-model chair and ottoman (which are about 18 years old!) from an easily-perused menu, we were able to get replacement covers identical to the originals. We hope this will extend the use of these pieces for another decade at a fraction of the cost of replacing them. I would have preferred a wider range of fabric color/pattern options, but the cost of custom-made using our own fabric would have been double or triple the cost of Comfort Works options. The slipcovers arrived in about 1/3 the estimated time!

I have a Arhaus Baldwin sofa. My couch, which is built like a rock, needed a new slip cover. The slip cover was discontinued. After much searching I found Comfort Works to make a new slip cover. Was extremely well made and fit perfectly!!! So pleased with the quality and fabric! Highly recommend Comfort Works!!
