It's a total scam. The room wasn't as advertised. It's a total scam. The room wasn't as advertised and, what's more, it wasn't very clean. There was no air conditioning, as stated, and now they're only refunding part of my deposit, telling me that there are cleaning fees and international transfer fees, but this is not stipulated in my contract at all.

Scam!!!! The contract has a lot of panelties and the worst, I received a rental contract asking me to give up my image rights now and for the future.
They were not willing to show me the shared apartment before signing the contract. At the same time, my contract said, that the landlord can enter my room any time with previous notice.
Also I wanted to know how many men and women are living there and the age range, which is a normal question and not against data protection law. They refused. In the end I didn't sign and start a legal fight with spotahome, through which I reserved the room.

Moved out one year ago and I still haven’t recieved my deposit😤 they suck and its too difficult to communicate with them if u dont speak spanish, THEY ROB YOU AND u WILL NEVER SEE YOUR MONEY AGAIN, idk How this business still manage to survive. I know so many other people that experienced the same.

Absolute scam artists. Will play every trick to get as much extra money from you! I know how bad Agency's are when renting especially short term in Barcelona so this time I was extra careful. But of course they still screw you. First I emailed back and forth 50 times to confirm all the prices then when I get there to collect I am informed that they take an extra 50 euros of my deposit for fees. They did not confirm this to me and I waited and spoke to the landlord who said she made I mistake. I asked so I have to pay for her mistake and she quite quickly said yes. Like come on complete scam as I had no choice at this stage. Now come to moving out, they first doge all my depsoit requiest and finally after hamming them with messages they finaly gave it back, but of course not the full amount. They made an excuse that it was VAT on cleaning service and international fees. I spoke to them for hours on my arrival and through email about all the costs, this was not mentioned. I also had proof of this and that there was no international fees on my deposit. They are the biggest scam artist and absolute appalling service. show some care for the people.

I stayed in CoLiveit Barcelona Gothic Quarter.

It has almost been 1 year and I am yet to receive my deposit back despite doing everything correctly.

They are claiming I was a noshow and therefore they do not return the deposit. However, this is not true. I stayed and left the room immaculately.

I will never stay with this company again and would urge people to avoid if they value their money. For the money they've taken I could have stayed in a much nicer venue too as my room was a box with no windows.

Very poor organisation around checking people in and out. Had to wait for hours to have my room cleaned, despite having agreed a check in time weeks in advance. While waiting in their office, it was clear to see i wasn’t the only one who couldn’t check in on time, with this being a common occurrence. Despite the extended waits for ‘cleaners’, the rooms on check in need another quick clean.

Company is overzealous to book out rooms to maximise rent days, leaving people stranded between moves.

I agree with everything Ana Beatriz Chaves Alves has stated‼️and I will be contacting her! THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM‼️They tried to overcharge me when I checked in. The first room they gave me was filthy with dirty sheets on a used rumpled bed, garbage on the floor. It took three trips back and forth to the nice building to figure it out. Very dirty beat up building. AND it’s been months since we have checked out and still no refund of security deposit‼️and no response from them either after several emails. YOU WILL REGRET RENTING HERE‼️the good reviews are fake by tenants who get free rent to run the building. Don’t know if this will help anyone but I did find this…
In Catalonia, landlords or agencies are required to hand deposits to an administration called Incasol (Institut Català del Sol). As a tenant, you can request the reference number from your landlord to check the status of your incasol file. Odds are, if they are crooked, they didn't do that.
My previous apartment had no cedula de habitabilitad and no incasol. When I moved out, they wanted to keep the deposit. After sending legal threats of denouncing them to the city in a burofax letter (you can do that online, use a professional layout and tone in your letter, and give them a specific ultimatum deadline), I quickly got my money back.
The fines for the landlords who don't put the deposit in incasol are pretty hefty.
As an other resort, you could contact the support of incasol for more info/advice.

This company looks like a scam! They have ONE nice building and all the other rooms are in old apartments with cockroaches. They are dirty and bad. My bed was broken and the table as well. They did nothing about it. By contract they have 6 weeks to give your deposit back. But they have not given mine and a lot of people back. Do not stay here even if you are desperate. If you want to proceed with a general law suit please contact me. I am gathering people to sue them together.

I stayed here last year after the company had placed me in an accommodation that firstly wasn’t as advertised (no ensuite bathroom) and secondly they hadn’t checked or cleaned the accommodation prior to me staying, so when I arrived I found that it had been broken into and lived in by homeless people. It was absolutely disgusting and overall a very distressing experience which they didn’t even compensate me for and refused to refund me the HUGE admin fee that they charged. So I stayed at the la ramblas building for a few months instead and I did like the rooftop and the gym but overall it is very expensive for what you pay for. But the real issue I have with this company was getting my deposit back after I stayed; the company lied to me, ignored me and wouldn’t give me back my deposit and for no reason at all! It seems that the electronic system that they use if faulty and the amount of times that they would lie to me by telling me I would receive my refund is just unacceptable. It has caused me months of stress. The company have very bad customer service and I am aware that I am not the only tenant that had this issue with them not issuing deposits. I would not recommend using this company.

La inmensa mayoria de reseñas en google de este piso son positivas. Esto es porque los pagan dias libres a las limpiadoras para animar a la gente a ponerles buenas reseñas.

El piso numero 8 tiene tantas deficiencias que es dificil enumerar todas.
-Cada semana se rompe algo, la ducha, la puerta, el frigorifico... todo es muy antiguo y hacen poco por mejorarlo.
-pasó de ser un piso para estudiantes a ser ahora una especie de airbnb sin ningun aviso, asique ya no hay la seguridad que habia antes en cada piso. Cada semana cambian la mayoria de personas y por tanto, no hay sensacion de comunidad ni seguridad, muchas veces nos roban comida o bebida.
-lleva en obras un año y aún les queda mucho. Esto quiere decir que la mayoria de dias te despiertan unos simpaticos obreros a martillazos o taladrando, asique si trabajas hasta tarde y quieres dormir algo ni pienses en alojarte aquí.
-Cuando se reservó mi habitacion por un año, incluían una terraza con pingpong, sofás...etc que a dia de hoy lleva cerrada meses y sin planes para volverla a abrir, un timo en toda regla.
-las maderas del suelo no creo que las hayan cambiado desde que se construyó el edificio Crujen MUCHISIMO, te enteras quien está cruzando el pasillo aunque estés a la otra punta.
-Los baños son pequeños, antiguos y los desagues de las duchas suelen estar colapsados.
-hay un aire acondicionado en la habitacion que directamente no dejan poner. Algunos empleados nos dicen que no podemos para no gastar electricidad y otros que solo esta de adorno. La realidad es que las habitaciones con vistas a gran via son un autentico horno cuando hace un poco de calor, son inhabitables en verano.
-Falta equipamiento, dos neveras para 9 habitaciones, algunas de ellas dobles, se hacen absolutamente insuficientes.
-hace meses pedimos que nos cambiasen el colchon porque esta hundido y es muy incomodo. Nos dijeron que estaban con ello... nunca mas volvimos a saber de eso.

Seguramente me deje varios otros puntos negativos pero ya puedes hacerte una idea de que no es el alojamiento ideal, y menos por la desmesurada cantidad mensual que se paga.

Attention! Dont book this place!!! Its very very dirty, many things are broken, construction work is going on all day and you cant do any kind of changes with your booking!!!

They don't return the deposit. I'm waiting since August 2023. That's six months! It was a business travel I had to cancel and since my business was checked my account was blocked until I got my deposit back, which did not happen until now. I explained everything to Co Live It but they never paid and don't care about the trouble they got me in. Don't book with them, their only goal is to take your money, by showing low prices on the website and then trippling it up. Shame on you Co Live It!

Muy cómoda la habitación, equipada con todo lo necesario. Me he sentido muy a gusto. Las chicas encargadas siempre muy disponibles y atentas a mis inquietudes, especialmente Cecilia y Juliana.

Excelente ubicación, habitación cómoda y cocina con todos los electrodomésticos. La atención siempre es buena y constante, Cecilia siempre muy atenta explicando todas las condiciones.

Sin duda una atención excelente, creo recordar que me atendió Cecilia y me solucionó el problema rápidamente.

Amabilidad del personal!! Servicio muy atento.

El buen trato del personal, son súper majos y cercanos, y eso es de agradecer, ayudando y resolviendo dudas, y dando recomendaciones, la verdad que un 10.

I stayed at Coliveit’s Chamberí apartments in Madrid and it was great. The place had everything I needed, and it felt super comfy.

What really made the difference was how easy it was to communicate with them throughout my stay. They were always there when I needed something, making my stay smooth and enjoyable.

Living in Chamberí, I felt like I was truly part of Madrid. The location is amazing – right in the heart of the city but still so homey.

I’d totally recommend Coliveit’s Chamberí and I’ll definitely come back! 🤩🤩

I’d highly recommend this place, everyone I dealt with was very professional and the facilities are brand new. On the top of this, the location is very central, very close access to public transport.
