I do think you have to check then the item was indeed purchased as it is technically impossible to request a refund after 30 days.
We only give a refund in the case of the product not working as advertised or the author is not giving support to the customer. Always make sure to give to some good support to your customers.

Amazing Marketplace!
This is my first review ever but this is an Amazing Marketplace! Great for both buyers and sellers! Support from certain Support for items is amazing especially ChewiScripts! Also great value for money and has alot of hidden gems which you cannot find on CodeCanyon!
Don't know why there are so many 1-star reviews but this marketplace is 10x better than CodeCanyon

Codester is good, but needs to improve
Codesterneeds to update quality standards. Don't buy anything unless you have tested it thoroughly. I purchased a script from codester and it was a complete disaster. No replies on support. The developer is also not replying on the provided support Email.
When I asked for a refund, at codester support, they reply after 48 hours.
But Yes, they gave me back my money.

We are surprised to find this 1 star review here on Trustpilot. As we have already refunded your purchase because the seller was not responsive and was not able to solve the problem.
Because it was busy, we were not able to reply the same day and had to reply the next day. Our apology for any inconvenience. We can image that the first time you purchase something from a website which you don't know and you don't receive a direct reply you start thinking the worst.
In the case of a seller not being responsive you can fall back on us! If you have any questions, just let me us know.

Rick, we are sorry to hear your purchase is not doing what you want it to do.
We have tested the item in question and have not been able find any defects. We can understand it is frustrating when an item does not have a specific function you wish it had, but we can only force a refund from a seller if the item is not working as advertised. If a seller wants to give a voluntary refund, we are of course always happy to help to make that happen.
When purchasing any items we would recommend to always check the description and if you have any questions you can ask the seller pre-sale questions in the support section of the item you would like to purchase. This should help to make sure the item indeed does what you want it to do before you purchase it.

We are sorry your purchase is currently still not working as it should. We can understand it is frustrating when you purchase a script and you can not get it to work.
Codester staff and the author of the script have been actively in contact with you to get the script to work as it should.
We have extensively tested the script on our own server to see if the script is not working as advertised (and if you can get a refund), but the script is working flawlessly.
In this case we can't force the seller to give you a refund.
The problem seems to be with your servers configuration. The author has been giving the required support to get the script working, but if the server is not configured as it should be, there is not much he/she can do.

Hi, I wanted to share my first experience on codester.com ... To be honest, I am not very impressed. I bough an app source code, that was not working by the way. Then 2 days after, the item was removed and seller is vanished... I cannot get any support and I cannot request a refund since I cannot contact the seller!... Very scared to buy again ... I will be looking for another marketplace. SAD to see this because I was interested in many app there.... but i will not loose my money twice either!.

Best marketplace out there!
We have purchased quite a few products from Codester including several app templates and php scripts.
Nearly all products have worked perfectly. Good documentation included.
We purchased one app template which did not direclty work with the latest version of Xcode. The problem was solved by the author within the hour!
The prices on Codester are great, you can find some real bargains!
The only negative thing I can think of there aren't as many products as some other marketplaces, which is understandable as Codester is still quite new.
By far my favorite marketplace!

Poor product, can't get in touch with anyone
Bought a web template (e.g. the HTML for a website). The website looks completely different on Chrome and IE. In neither does it look as it should, with buttons and tabs appearing offscreen, or in unpressable positions. There's no email to write to or number to call, just a support form, which I filled in, and no one got back to me (it's been 48 hours).
No support, no one to talk to, practically unusable product.
The only reason I've put two stars instead of one, is because even though the product is extremely poor quality (think of a cheap plastic toy that breaks in 2 minutes), it is still the HTML for a website like they said (just that they never said it was as bad as it is...!).
In response to the response below, please know that I asked for support on by clicking on the support button, which takes you to a page "form" which I filled in (no links allowed here, otherwise I'd have posted the link) and no one came back to me. There's no email address on the website, nor any instructions for getting help other than taking you to this form, nor a telephone number.
Still, I must say, it must be considered a positive that you found this review and wrote on it, though I'm not (at least not yet) at a stage where I'd put more than 2 stars (and the product really is poor).
NOTE: You only contacted me via email AFTER this post, and AFTER I sent you an email, having got your details from PAYPAL (since they are not on the website).

We are sorry to hear about your purchase, but we don't have any trace of any support ticket posted in the product's support forum. We have also contacted you through email.
There is a special support forum for every product on Codester where you can ask the seller for support! And if the seller fails to get the product working as advertised 2 business days, you can just get your money back by contacting Codester main support.
If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask them!

We have actually responded by email directly after you have contacted us through the support form you describe. Please check your spam folder.
It also states on that form, you have to contact the seller of the product for technical support. The seller should be able to get back to you within 2 business days. If the seller fails to solve the problem and the product is not working as advertised after 2 business days, you should contact Codester marketplace support and we make sure you get your money back.
In worst case, you get your money back :-)
