We discovered Coaltown coffee a few years ago whilst on holiday near Ammanford, and have continued to either revisit or mail order since. Great coffee and great service both in the cafe and online.

The Jenkin Jones (No 5) Decaf coffee is excellent with a rich and chocolatey taste. Highly recommended. Coaltown also deliver quickly in robust packaging.

Quick turn over from order to delivery
Quick turn over from order to delivery. I would like to know if you use Arabica or Robusta coffee beans or a mix of the two. I prefer Robusta and would be interested in a coffee made of these beans. Is this something you have considered or already implementing?

Love this coffee
I do love the Black Gold No3 coffee. Great taste for my morning black coffee and also for milk based drinks. It’s very versatile.
I’ve been trying several other suppliers and coffee beans, I’ve found some very nice and some bad beans. The only drawback I have with Coaltown is the cost of Black gold. I do spoil myself from time to time because I do love the coffee. However, with costs for coffee going up I have found some very nice coffee bean alternatives, for example at £12 to £13 a kilo cheaper. So, my Black Gold No3 is now a treat from time to time due to cost, still a superb coffee and as a bonus it fairly local.
