How can you advertise shoes are from London retail shop but the packaging came from china. Could tell that the shoes were not going to be as described as not in box. I was right. You could smell the rubber before I got them out. The most poorest shoe I have ever seen. Cost £45 more like a £0.99.

Saw an ad on FB. Decided to check it was a legitimate company. It said it was an English company based in York, founded some years ago. All seemed good.
09/03 I ordered a blouse . It offered free returns.
Have had several contradictory messages regarding delivery , including that it was delivered 2 hours ago. It wasn't.
Now saying delivery 18_22 March from China.
Not holding out much hope of it being any good even if it does arrive having seen other reviews

I’ve made a formal complaint to Clarkson and will take it to Trading Standards. They won’t change their misleading returns policy without pressure. Crap products and hostage to their returns policy. 30 day money back guarantee and free returns my as”*#.

Chinese company pretending to be based in the UK.

Clarkson London, I treated my wife and we found the garment a cheap nasty item and the colour did not match as advertised baring in mind the on line version we received was a vivid green not the subtle green as advertised. I too believe this is a Chinese company masquerading as a UK based supplier Steer clear of this scam company and so should Meta aka FB

Same as everyone one else... horrible products, no refunds, no customer service, complete scam.

Now known as 'DressbyIsla'. Do not purchase one item from these scumbags. They are not a family UK company. I was thinking I was supporting a family UK business..! I bought two 100% wool hoodies and socks - I received a cheap thin stretchy fabric where the pattern hurts your eyes. I've sent numerous emails where they're misunderstanding my concern. They offered a discount for me to keep the goods, then a higher discount then back to square one ignoring my concerns. Only one person was responding from customer services. Now I'm reporting them to the credit card bank. Their email contact has changed to the 'DressbyIsla' but phone contact remains the same as it was for Clark London.... in China! I've requested a UK return address as requested by the creditcard company. doubt I will get that. When buying anything, always check TrustPilot before, as this company genuinely looked like a family UK business. I've learnt my lesson!

The jumpers are crap, everything that I could say about them has been said in the previous reviews. I am pleading for a refund having spent far too much money with them. It is absolutely shameful that they are getting away with misleading advertising, substandard garments and ignoring emails. I am furious 😡 something should be done to name and shame

Clark “London” mis-sells items and then asks you to return items to China. Offers a percentage refund which never appears. Horrible company selling horrible products.
Nordic hoodie turns out to be polyester tat.

I have been in touch with Citizen's Advice Consumer Service to report this company. They lie about the products and send out items which are 100% polyester and not 'luxury wool'. It's a pity that the UK allows such companies to trade in the UK. They are a China based company, even though they have an address in The Netherlands, which is actually a normal residential street, so they are giving false information, yet again.
I am in correspondence with the company to refund, but they are very reluctant to do so.
Avoid any business with this company. I wish that I'd checked here first. Lesson learnt!

Well, I normally wear Medium/Large shirts (40/42) but I couldn’t button up the M green cord shirt that arrived. After reading the reviews on this site, I almost decided to write the transaction off but I contacted the seller and found them helpful and efficient.

They told me to keep the M and that they would send a replacement if I paid the postage.

The XL is a snug fit but looks nice and seems well made.

If anyone does order, the correct size may be an issue but the staff (and despite the company name) it all seems to come from abroad) were helpful

Counterfeit product!! Nothing in the website suggested Chinese scam, but that's what it is. Ordered 100% luxurious wool jumper, received 100% polyester with out of focus printing. Wish I could upload photos here. Appalling! 'Customer service' are sorry I'm not satisfied, but - as per returns policy - either I get a 15% refund and keep the product, or I have to pay for the item to be returned to China from whence it came, which will work out more costly than the refund I'd possibly get. Am disgusted that this is all considered legal. Why can't companies like this be shut down?!

How did I not check this beforehand. Worst quality shirt I’ve ever had. Crap Chinese import, spandex and cotton. Missing buttons, threads hanging out. Don’t waste your money.
Despite the ‘London’ branding and supposed office address, they expect you to send back to China for return and refund.
