I have been in the financial industry over 30 years, brokered and closed for my own account in excess of 1000 loans in 5 states, ranging in amounts from $20,000 to $10,000,000, helped countless homeowners navigate their way through the crushing mortgage crisis years. I've worked with every imaginable U.S. bank and mortgage lender, from the largest to ones since demised, insurance funds and international banks. But, never have I ever encountered one so blatantly incompetent, dishonest, unscrupulous or fraudulent as Civic Financial, and their erstwhile servicing subsidiary BSI Financial Services. So egregious are their accounting and loan servicing actions that it became necessary to not only file suit on one particular Oregon loan, but I am preparing regulatory agency complaints for filing in Texas, California and Oregon.

Civic Staff continues to do an extraordinary job every single time. It's not easy to find a lending company that can think outside the box!

Randi, is awesome! She makes herself available by phone, text, or email which makes it very easy to get in touch with her when needed. She answers questions clearly and concisely and she stays on top of her loans. She is a pleasure to work with!

Working with Josh Levine was great! The online platform is easy to follow and the process and communication exceeded my expectations. Great working with Civic!

We had another good closing with Civic. The property was in probate for 3+ months and Armando hung in there with us until we finally got the closing authorization from the court. It took a matter of days from court order to closing - and the process was easy except for some last minute document requests stemming from the length of time between starting the funding process and closing. This is to be expected, but the document requests dribbled in over the course of 2-3 days rather than in a single batch so it appeared we had answered all the questions when another request was made. All in all, so much better than a traditional lender - we'll definitely be back.

Civic Financial Services was amazing to work with, and I can't wait to do it again. Brian Fung is amazingly patient, and the experience will have me recommending to friends moving forward.

The processing staff will not answer and return phone calls. It is very hard to do business that way. The AE is saying talk to processing, very frustrating. Also, there was a lot of confusion on the cash-out and the indemnity. It took a lot of effort to resolve this issue. It seems like processing has a very uncaring attitude.

Peter Kraemer was superb on our 1st transaction with Civic. The entire process was smooth, informative and quickly closed. Thank you for your professionalism.

Great experience with one area of improvement:
1. Fast close, attention detail, Ivan was great!
2. Documents sent to me were fully explained and someone was always available to help move thing along, I felt protected and secure the whole time
3. Team worked to get me the best deal with the least amount of work possible on my end
4. Day of close there was a clerical error that was found that caused a bit of stress for me as I had to pay another wire fee and quickly get a wire out for a small percentage that was missed during closing. It would have been helpful if Civic paid for this mistake or somehow helped me with the wire fee since it was not a mistake on my part.
