Ihr Service ist leider absolut nicht Kunden - und Befarfsorientiert.
Sie nehmen überhaupt keine Rücksicht auf den Umstand, dass der Lift eine Funktion als Transportmittel für körperlich„Behinderte Menschen“.
Ihre Struktur hat nicht einmal einen „Notdienst“, welcher zumindest innerhalb von einem Tag sicher stellt, das der Lift wieder fahrbereit ist.
Fazit: Leider kann ich keine Empfehlung für einen Kauf eines Liftes bei Cibes empfehlen. Die Verantwortung für den Verkauf eines Aufzuges verbunden mit dem Bewusstsein, dass dieser im Normalfall nicht zum Spaß gekauft wird fehlt.
Leider ist auch die Qualität zu hinterfragen. Mein Lift ist in den letzten 2 Jahren mehrfach nicht funktionsfähig gewesen.

We utilized one of the subsidiaries (for Cibes Lift) to install a pneumatic elevator in Washington, DC. The subsidiary is called Area Access and is located in Manassas, VA. Shortly after the installation was completed, the elevator began failing on a REGULAR basis. As of today (4/14/26) we have received seven (7) separate service calls with no permanent resolution. While the elevator will often work (after the technicians leave) it usually begins to fail during the next 1-2 days. In most cases, Area Access insists on charging a service fee for issues which clearly relate to a defective product.

Area Access has not only: (1) repeatedly failed to identify the root cause of the issue, but also (2) failed to send technicians with adequate training to correct the source issue. Once you get to the first floor, the elevator will suddenly drop 2-3 inches above the landing pad. This sudden shock appears to knock out all of the delicate settings (which the technicians just made) after multiple cycles.

Not only are service calls difficult to obtain, but the corporate office (in Manassas, VA), is OBLIVIOUS to customer concerns. Phones will endlessly ring and customer service agents are non-committal on securing a permanent solution. We estimate that the elevator has ONLY worked 50% of the time over the last two years. I suggest that you carefully review other options if you are thinking of using this firm.

Fantastic for our multi-gen living we have a steep block in Auckland and the house has a lot of levels. Having our parents me move in meant we needed a home elevator. Cibes was the perfect choice. No machine room required and the screw-driven technology is very low Maintenance. It's made our home so much more functional for everyone from the toddlers to the grandparents.

Perfect for our narrow tube house Our house in Hanoi is very narrow and tall with 5 floors. My old mother cannot go to the top floor for many years because her legs are very weak. We installed the Cibes glass lift in the middle of our stairs. It is a very space-saving lift and looks very beautiful. Now my mother can join the family dinner every night. I am very grateful to her happy again.

After a successful installation, the lift operated well. Then we had a first service and a few niggling problems developed.
Whilst this was frustrating for us and the Cibes team, we communicated well and worked together to sort the problems. That is how you build a relationship as Supplier and Customer.
As a result, I cannot speak highly enough about everyone in the Cibes team, and would certainly recommend them to anyone considering a lift installation.

Trotz einer hohen Anzahlung wurde seitens Cibes zunächst vergessen, den Lift überhaupt zu bestellen. Nach dem Einbau machte der Lift zwar einen guten ersten Eindruck, dieser wurde jedoch schnell durch den Service – insbesondere durch die mangelhafte Mängelbeseitigung – zunichtegemacht.

Auf Rückmeldungen wartet man vergeblich, stattdessen gibt es am Telefon lediglich leere Versprechungen ohne konkrete Ergebnisse. Die Kommunikation ist enttäuschend und unzuverlässig.

Meine Empfehlung an andere Kunden: Wenn man auf Cibes angewiesen ist, sollte man mindestens 30 % des Preises einbehalten, um im Zweifel Dritte mit der Mängelbeseitigung beauftragen zu können.

Eine Weiterempfehlung kann ich leider nicht aussprechen. Nach anfänglicher Euphorie ist diese Erfahrung umso enttäuschender.

Nie wieder, schlechter Kundenservice und es fehlen auch noch Teile zum Aufbau, nur Ärger von Anfang an…

What can l say. They are an absolute amazing company to deal with. From a previous lift company causing us a massive headache and lies please read reviews from other companies you can learn a lot. I was very impressed with Cibes they went through everything we needed on the break down of the lift to repair and service of the lift. Without any hesitation l would recommend this company. Cibes acknowledged that all three incidents were caused by incorrect maintenance by their own technicians. Despite this, they initially tried to charge me to fix faults that were of their own making. Only after leaving a Trustpilot review did they agree to resolve the issues at no cost, on the condition that I edit or remove my review.

In the most recent case, a Cibes call centre agent instructed us to contact the fire brigade to rescue my wife, who was trapped in the building alone. Emergency services had to force entry, causing irreparable damage to the front door. Cibes is now referring to “Article 17” of their General Terms claiming they have no liability.

Negative reviews about Cibes often disappear—presumably in exchange for the company offering to resolve issues. If you’re researching lift providers, pay attention to what might be missing, not just what’s posted.

wir wohnen seit September 2023 in einem Neubau, 6 FamHaus mit einem LIft von Cibes.
Von September 2023 bis Januar 2024 stand der Lift still. Danach 2 x Reparatur; von Anfang an sehr laute Quietsch- und Schleifgeräusche....die bis heute März 2025, noch nicht behoben werden konnten; jetzt steht der Aufzug wieder schon über eine Woche....???!!!!

Ein Desaster auf ganzer Linie – Unser Erfahrungsbericht mit Cibes-Plattformaufzügen
Seit der Installation eines Cibes-Plattformaufzugs in unserem Zweifamilienhaus, das auch von einer - wie Cibes schon seit dem Erstkontakt wusste - Rollstuhlfahrerin bewohnt wird, erleben wir eine regelrechte Odyssee des Versagens. Der Aufzug funktioniert schlichtweg nicht zuverlässig. Bereits mehrfach wurden Reparaturversuche unternommen – jedoch ohne jeglichen nachhaltigen Erfolg. Statt systematischer Problemlösung scheint hier das Prinzip „Trial & Error“ zur Anwendung zu kommen. Ein Armutszeugnis für ein Unternehmen, das sich auf barrierefreie Mobilität spezialisiert.
Erreichbarkeit? Fehlanzeige. Rückrufe? Zögerlich und ohne greifbare Ergebnisse. Nachdem er zunächst monatelang immer wieder stecken geblieben ist, sind wir nun seit Monaten gezwungen, den Aufzug jeden Morgen neu zu starten und zusätzlich zu resetten, nur damit er funktioniert – wenn überhaupt. Techniker:innen, die endlich auftauchen, sind sehr freundlich, scheinen im Hinblick auf die möglichen Fehlerursachen aber bestenfalls ahnungslos zu sein und verlassen das Haus meist, ohne den Fehler beheben zu können. Und nun, seit über einem Monat, herrscht völliger Stillstand: Kein Techniker in Sicht, keine Lösung, nur leere Versprechungen.
Seit drei Tagen funktioniert der Aufzug nun gar nicht meht. Die Reaktion seitens Cibes auf unsere erneute Fehlermeldung? Ein organisatorisches Desaster. Offensichtlich genügt der Ausfall von zwei Mitarbeitenden aus dem kaufmännischen Bereich, um das gesamte System lahmzulegen. Es scheint, als sei Cibes nicht einmal imstande, bei akuten Ausfällen einen Techniker zu organisieren, geschweige denn das Problem zu beheben. Dass ausgerechnet ein Unternehmen, dessen Produkte für Menschen mit Mobilitätseinschränkungen essenziell sind, eine derart katastrophale Serviceleistung bietet, ist schlicht skandalös.
Schon der Bestell- und Installationsprozess war eine Zumutung, doch das aktuelle Drama übertrifft alles. Nach diesen Erfahrungen können wir nur mit Nachdruck vor dem Kauf eines Aufzugs von Cibes warnen – insbesondere, wenn man auf dessen Funktionsfähigkeit angewiesen ist. Barrierefreiheit? Bei Cibes offenbar ein Fremdwort.
Das einzige, was funktioniert, ist die Rechnungsstellung. Bevor Cibes irgendwas herstellt und liefert, muss man als Kunde 90% des Gesamtbetrages anzahlen. Ob der Aufzug dann auch funktioniert, scheint für Cibes dann keine Rolle mehr zu spielen.

We had two cibes lifts fitted. One by Opal elevators which has been faultless. The second has been horrendous with a myriad of issues. Faulty buttons faulty battery charging, faulty lift guides wobbly walls, dead LED strips and a faulty drive belt. Cibes own installers did not appear to have a clue. The whole lift has been poorly put together and I have little confidence it will last very long. I would also comment that parts and servicing appear extortionate. I am surprised this is not illegal under monopoly rules. A lock that should cost £5 max costs probably 40 times more. Many of the original parts can be sourced elsewhere such as drive belts cylinders and Led strips. I will never buy another lift from Cibes. The quality i my opinion is rubbish. They don't help anyone and ignore customers once a purchase is made or a problem encountered. These are my own personal views and perceptions based on my experience.

zu erwerben. Der Service ist nicht nur mangelhaft sondern unterirdisch schlecht. Weder die Niederlassungen in Berlin oder ÖLandsberg sind zu
erreichen. Auf mails, auch an die GL, erfolgt keine Reaktion. Wenn dann doch einmal ein sog. Servicetechniker auftaucht, hat dieser keinerlei Ersatzteile und auch keine Ahnung von dem was mitgeteilt wurde. Darüberhinaus werden sehr teure Teile, wie z.B. Elektronik als defekt deklariert. Hier wied nur Geld gemacht. Mein Lift steht seit 6 Monaten still. Keine Reaktion von CIBES. Auch das Werk in Schweden antwortet nicht auf mails.

Wenn man sich mit Vertriebspartnern wie Hiro Lift rumärgern muss, hilft das beste produkt nichts

When we were deciding on the model,we knew we wanted a lift that looked stylish and modern but got confused at the mix and match of options. We aren't lift experts,we didn't know what would look good with what. The consultant from Cibes brought us an ipad and we started to build the lift live on their configurator app. When we were done,they exported a video that I then sent to our architect,who was not only blown away but helped design the area to match perfectly with the lift.

The installation process was seamless. The team was punctual,professional , and incredibly respectful of our home. They worked efficiently, and we were amazed at how quickly everything was up and running. A standard moment was during a routine maintenance visit. We had a minor issue with the lift door making a slight noise. Not only did the technician fix it promptly,but he also took the time to explain what had caused the noise and how to prevent it in the future. This level of thoroughness and dedication to customer satisfaction is truly rare. The lift itself is fantastic -quite, smooth,and aesthetically pleasing. It has greatly improved accessibility for our entire family, especially for my husband who has recently had surgery.

I have quite a few friends who have elevators, and when I ended up needing one because pf my knees, I honestly thought of selling the house af moving to one-story apartment. Too many stories of companies disappearing, inexistant support, and crazy repair and maintenance bills. But with Cibes, I found something different. They mostly use fully-owned subsidiaries, and you can feel the difference in the service. They aren't looking to make a quick buck but really try to find the right solution to make us users satisfied. They constantly go above and beyond. During installation I mentioned I was worried about my grandchildren using the lift - and during handover I discovered they had installed child locks, for free!
Wonderful Company, I would recommend twice if I could.
