Everything was lovely
Everything was great, service, staff.
My egg bacon benedict however, it was cold but I didn't want to spoil the experience for my friend so I didn't mention it on the journey.
All the food was tasty and the two young staff were brilliant.

Everything was beautiful except when we had stand of cakes etc they were very runny
They should have been in fridge at all times

We had a fabulous day on the railway…
We had a fabulous day on the railway celebrating my son’s 60 th birthday He has learning disabilities and required a wheeyto get on the train. Everything we needed was catered for the staff couldn’t do enough for us. They were very friendly and made our experience very special. Will be back

Birthday surprise
This was a birthday gift for a close friend who is poorly and wheelchair bound 80%of the time.
The night run smoothly and there was no problem with the wheelchair being held at the back of the carriage but close to our table. We were able to take a balloon and and a table decoration.
The food was hot and delicious,and served by very helpful and friendly staff. A very pleasant experience.

Staff were friendly and cheerful
Staff were friendly and cheerful. We booked for just a return journey, and staff came through the carriage selling delicious bacon and sausage baps. Also snacks and drinks were sold onboard.
A lovely day out with beautiful scenery from the train.
Would recommend this journey.

A great dining experience
The way the trip was organised and the cleanliness of everything was brilliant. Timing of the food was good too so it wasn't too rushed. Everything tasted lovely. Excellent helpful staff both at the station and on the train. A wonderful experience I would highly recommend.

Unfortunatly half the track ride was…
Unfortunatly half the track ride was not viable. We went hslf way then returned back to station then half way again and returned to station. Spoilt the journey we were expecting

We want your journey to be as comfortable as possible, so we are passing your notes straight to our maintenance crew to look into repadding them. We always want to ensure a smooth, relaxing ride. The double journey was necessary to give us enough time to serve all of our dining passengers & the route was revised to reduce the risk of lineside fires. Please travel with us again to enjoy the full line of the Churnet Valley Railway.

Dinner in the valley in little Switzerland
GreatFood and locations and a large 701 wartime engine. Five star customer service from start to finish. One minor "grumble" just need a bit more custard on my apple crumble dessert!

A wonderful experience
We visited the Churnet Valley Railway to do the Spud & Train - we had a fabulous time. The staff/volunteers were wonderful, helpful and made our day a special memory. The jacket potatoes were super too.
