Chickens are happy and healthy. Obviously well cared for however we didn’t receive our pack or hydration sachets this time round. Pick up is quick and easy and I know the chickens will thrive.

Such friendly and supportive service and the chooks are wonderful. Thank you

Easy to choose chickens via website lots of good information about each breed
Pick up was easy and straightforward a lovely information pack was included and all the girls looked lovely and healthy… we have had ours a week but so far no eggs so we wait in anticipation
Would definitely recommend and we would order again

So I’ve been keeping chickens for 14 years now and I looked around as to where I could get my new girls. I had two remaining chickens from a batch of eight left and I had put off getting more as they were 6 years olds and I had a 9 year old that I didn’t want to be upset particularly by bringing in youngsters. She sadly passed and so I looked around for somewhere that I thought would be ideal, with healthy new additions to bring in. I ordered a mix of 6 new pullets and they are absolutely fabulous. It has taken a few weeks for them to settle not due to them but due to my Welsummer keeping guard over my Barnvelder who has arthritis in her legs and so doesn’t move about as freely as she should. The new girls are as good as gold and haven’t touched her and just get on with living life in their new home, enjoying the garden and laying beautifully. They have every need at their disposal and rule from early morning till dusk. I had a delivery to the door and when you factor in the total price against the joy and quality of the birds and what they mean to you then it’s worth every penny. I wouldn’t hesitate to ring Libby as she obviously loves her job and is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. If my girls continue to thrive as they are we will have many happy years together. As I write this Pepper has just let me know she has just laid…..it doesn’t get better than that..and when they don’t produce eggs, then they can live out their retirement, justly deserved..

Firstly I’m not somebody who leaves reviews but this time I just had to! Libby was wonderful from start to finish. We’ve had chickens for the past 12 years and the last of our girls passed away a few months ago. Spoke to Libby as I really wanted some advice on the different breeds and what would be best for our home. She was wonderful with her knowledge and advice. Within 5 minutes of speaking to Libby on the phone I had ordered my new girls. I was kept up to date right brought to collection day. Our new girls are wonderful, beautiful, healthy and laying delicious eggs. They have fitted into our home like a dream and are fantastic with our dogs (don’t give a monkeys about them!). I would highly recommend. To be honest I did think it was strange at first to be ordering online chickens! But it is brilliant 🤩

MY 5 chickens have settled in with my flock they are very healthy. Had good communication throughout a seamless journey. Highly recommend. Got my first egg today from one if the ladies

Ordering with this company was a very easy and positive experience. The website was easy to navigate and there is a good range of chickens of good quality to choose from. I will recommend this company to anyone interested in buying chickens in the future.

Great communication, very good value and lovely chickens!

Really efficient company. Easy to collect and knowledgeable staff. Chickens were really healthy and settled in quickly

All great chickens are fine. Settled in. No problems what so ever

Very detailed advice and support given regarding all aspects of our order.

I don't often leave reviews but I had to take the time given how happy I am with my service! I would like to acknowledge the honesty and integrity of this company first of all, they contacted me to let me know the delivery had been overcharged and refunded me for part of the delivery. I wasn't aware I had been overcharged and really appreciated the honesty! Also, these guys delivered my hens all the way to Cardiff for me and the hens were still in such a good way after which put every faith in me that they were well looked after up until their arrival. My girls really are beautiful and i’m now gutted I didn't order a few more after seeing these hens. I ordered a white leghorn, light sussex and rhode rock, again all arrived in amazing condition. I was kept up to date with the delivery date, and an approx time which was massively helpful. The delivery driver was ever so lovely and helpful by putting the hens in a box for me so I could transport them to their run although he did also offer to put them straight in the run for me too if i needed it! Iv had them almost a week now and they’re getting more used to their new home everyday! I will definitely be ordering again if CTYD wouldn’t mind another Cardiff delivery!

Thank you so much CTYD you are fabulous!

Beautiful chickens and very friendly service.
