I spoke to Nichola Crawford today to arrange an appointment for my husband Brian. She sorted everything out for us, and got a lot earlier appointment for me as I got a bit confused using on line booking.

Sage King called me back, I having used the call back facility, which is useful. She was able to advise me that the date I have scheduled for my procedure is the earliest available ( not good news, but useful confirmation!). I also requested a copy of the leaflet I'm supposed to have read pre op but had not received; she forwarded it by email in a matter of minutes.

I have dealt with two people at CHEC today and both have been so helpful the staff were very efficient and answered all my questions and managed to get me booked in at a time that suited me

Due to an issue with trying to make an appoinment, I was told I would need a new referral as I had not responded to mail or calls CHEC had made to me. Having looked at call logs this was never the case. No calls were made or mail received at any time. There was an issue with their communications for a long time and this was admitted. Throughout the call I spoke with a lady called Poppy. She saved the day with her approach and customer service. An absolute star and a credit to CHEC. Unplappable, kind and helpful in her attempts to assist and resolve. Massive thank you to Poppy. Grea

The lady I spoke to was very polite and very informative

I attended for a minor eye op with CHEC Preston last week, I was incredibly nervous but the surgeon and nurse both put me completely at ease and made me feel so comfortable. My eye has heeled amazingly and I’m really pleased with the result.

As soon as you enter the building the staff are welcoming.
From the optometrist to the staff and nursing staff, who made me feel at ease.
I was apprehensive about having cataract surgery, however I really wish I had gone ahead sooner as the eye sight in eye that had the cataract surgery is amazing, like turning on a 1000w lightbulb. Looking forward to having the other eye done soon.
