I have been a customer with you for the past decade.

My latest purchase was from the Cambridge store and was with you for repairs. I have just received the pair back and I am so happy with the work. I had also sent in a request to have it resolved with Dainite and you have done so.

I am pleased every time with the level of work you carry out and of course when I buy new shoes. It is a testament to your work that I have kept 3 of my 4 shoe purchases and the accessories as well. I might be a Cheaney lifer without knowing it.

As an expat Brit living in the US, I value traditional craftsmanship, made in England, I really feel it is something to hold onto. I had a pair of Cheaney shoes which lasted me 20 years or so, and have now decided that I will only buy Cheaneys. The pleasure of supporting a family owned business, which still operates from the original factory is very much part of my decision. And the hand signed inscription inside my new shoes, tops it all off!

Recently bought a pair of Avon R's (dark leaf) after getting advice from the Shoe Healer. What a shoe. Fits perfectly and exactly as advised. Because of this i noticed the Corinthian R in brown waxy commander was on the same last. Decision made, email to the Shoe healer - who don't normally stock this boot), order taken and boots at my door 3 days later. So, excellent service from Cheaney and a mighty fine boot too.
I can thoroughly recommand the Avon R if you are looking for a Brogue and the Corinthian R Chelsea boot

I have bought several pairs of Cheaney shoes in the past and they are still very comfortable.
Even though I am Japanese, I can wear them comfortably without shoe sores.

Well, my experience with Ryan, I think his name is, was excellent when I purchased my shoes from the Edinburgh store. But when I went to purchase the tree I was told by the female wearing purple it was not in stock and that it could be ordered if only I were to give my name. I said that’s ok, I shall come back another time. I returned the following week and was told it was not in stock. I was forced to return another time. I returned, once again, the next week, and was told by the same sales person the tree would only be sold to me if I provided my name by order of head office. I queried this fact, items were only to be solid under a security check. I thank her and left to order the tree online. Otherwise, ordering the tree online was fine but very disappointing that I was forced to do so.

Edit: 28 May 2025. Hello, many thanks for your response, much appreciated. I only thought that these would be in stock. I was clear in my choice and with communication. I will be glad to be back for any reason. Thanks again. Two more stars added.

This is the 3rd pair of shoes I've purchased from Cheaney. As always, the shoes arrived very quickly. The fit is perfect, they are very comfortable and they look great.

This afternoon I stopped by the Covent Garden store, initially just to browse. When I saw the quality of all their models, I started considering buying a pair of shoes for my collection. Finally, I decided on a pair of Jackie III R Chukka boots in Fox Suede, which complement my wardrobe. The suede is smooth and an unusual color, but very versatile. I made the purchase with the help of their extraordinary staff, who, knowledgeable about their product, offered me the product that met my needs and provided me with the necessary information to make my decision.

Excellent slippers.comfy and lightweight.

Recently bought a pair of the Hadley loafers, not my first pair of Cheaney's and doubt it will be my last. Very comfortable fit for my feet, beautifully made and with wonderful service, Cheaney's really are at the top-level of handmade English shoemaking.
