Amazing experience from Andrea and the customer services team.

I phoned up as my order had not been dispatched for a few days and it was urgently required. Andrea reassured me this was because it was coming in from a store due to low stock and assured me she had made a note of the order and would make sure it was dispatched ASAP. She then followed up with a phone call and voicemail to keep me in the loop and visited the warehouse once it arrived to ensure it was on the van for next day delivery.

I was really impressed with the efforts Andrea put in to ensuring the delivery was with me ASAP and with the levels of communication. Totally positive experience and made me feel like a valued customer.

Cannot praise her enough- plus the shoes look great!

I have about 20 pairs of Cheaney shoes, I have just bought another pair of driving loafers, no dust bags?
Come on Cheaney don't try saving a couple of quid, this seems really cheap. Like the shoes though.

I am delighted with my Arthur III Oxford Brogues in dark leaf, calf shoes purchased during the current Cheaney sale including a genuine reduction value of £170 !
Though my preferred fit did not appear immediately available online, Customer Services (Andrea) made great efforts and invaluable attempts to meet my preferences via use of returned telephone calls demonstrating knowledge, experience and expedient use of time to source what I was looking for despite my enquiries fast approaching close of business hours ! i.e. Without such experienced and knowledgeable Customer Services staff I probably would never have placed my order ! Extremely encouraged with Cheaney's service including informative communication updates throughout the ordering / delivery process.

For many years I have greatly appreciated the Cheaney traditional hand made craftsmanship principles and can testify that I have never been disappointed with a single pair of shoes. Over the years I have purchased from the high street as well as Cheaney's website which supports a straight forward no fuss ordering process. Though it's many years since I have used Cheaney's refurbishment repair service - It still remains excellent value in my opinion and provides the owner with great quality and massively extended wear. Highly recommended. Cheaney's website is a joy to explore all of it's attributes.. Thank you Cheaney.

I have finally convinced my wife to follow my lead and as a result I purchased for her a pair ladies boots.She agrees the construction is what is expected from a leading brand. Andrea in customer services was absolutely brilliant and very patient. To the extent my wife went ahead and bought herself a second pair.
Another reason is nothing is too much trouble..quality quality and we now don't have to queue outside a supermarket to have them reheeled and soled with glue.
They will outlive me !

Nice shoes, have two pairs now. Boot and brogue. Perfect fit at 9.5. Original commando soles are trash. Replaced at my local cobbler for the half the price and they last twice as long.

Had an issue with DPD. Very frustrating but the delightful Andrea or Amanda I can’t remember ( in customer service ) took ownership.

I was impressed with her understanding, communication skills and professionalism. First class.

Stayed on the case. Promised to keep me updated.

Having worn Cheaney shoes for many years (my oldest pair are 30 years old), and mostly returned them to the factory for refurbishment when they have needed a refresh, I'm compelled to leave a review today because of their amazing customer service team, in particular Andrea who went above and beyond to look up the details and history of a sample pair of shoes I bought in 2011!

I had an outstanding experience with Joseph Cheaney & Sons that genuinely deserves recognition.

After the soles came off my old Triumph motorcycle boots, I struggled to find anyone willing or able to repair them. On a visit to their Desborough shop, I met William, who kindly suggested I bring the boots in for the factory team to assess.

A few days after dropping them off—fully expecting just advice or a quote—I received a call saying they were ready for collection. What they had done went far beyond anything I anticipated. The team had expertly reattached the soles, remoulded the boots, and even corrected the heel alignment. The craftsmanship was exceptional.

These boots hold a lot of sentimental value to me, and thanks to their skill and generosity, they’ve been given a new lease of life. I’ll now be able to enjoy them for many more years.

It’s rare to come across this level of care, kindness, and pride in workmanship. A heartfelt thank you to everyone in the factory—and especially to William—for going above and beyond.

BUYER BEWARE. Purchased men's shoes with a retail price of over £500 pounds as a gift. Less than a year later the soles are falling apart. I believe they use substandard manufacturing processes in their factory store or their products are just inferior quality. I'm now trying to make a s75 claim as they are refusing to repair or replace the faulty item. Highly recommend purchasing from NPS Shoes & Solovair in Wollaston. Never had an issue with their shoes or customer service and am sorry I listened to a recommendation to try this company. My friends were surprised at both the lack of quality and the lack of customer service and will also no longer use this company for their footwear.

Absolutely blown away by the customer service.

Louise and the repairs team have done an outstanding job with fixing my husband's leather boots. They were relatively new but he got soaked in a downpour and mould had started to grow inside the boots, in really hard to reach areas. We sent the boots in to Louise and the team and they have been beautifully restored and look like new again. Louise was so responsive and helpful and we are so thankful for such an incredible service from Cheaney. We won't be going anywhere else when buying shoes or boots - a huge thank you from us.

I love my Cheaney shoes. However it is super frustrating that they haven’t emailed me or are able to place an order for my shoe size that has been out of stock for weeks now.

Are your customer systems integrated with your planning and gross demand forecasting tools? They should be!

My shoe were delivered after christmas when should have been by 23 rd . They arrived and left heel felt very out of sink. I tried to call customer service. All on holiday for two weeks. Took to shop . Suggested wear in the heel hurt severely leaving pain. For days after . Eventually after many calls after they returned i sent back by shop to check. They said they were fine. Spoke to the condescending production manager on phone . eventually . Insisted a second pair should be sent for me to make choice . Tried both original pair still felt awkward in left heel . I had to take the second pair . Wearing now and no problem with this pair at all . There had been mention if nails coming through which are in fact tacts . I was told by lois i would receive some compensation for all my troubles . When called by shop assistant this was laughed off by her and denied . £ 800 pair shoes no proper heel production inspection and then problem in denial anything was a miss by production manager . And then no compensation and laughed at and lied to .
Never ever again. Never ever by from Cheaney it is not Churches at all nor the very good Crocket and Jones that were open christmas and i have always got great shoes from .
Don't buy Cheaney . Its shody production and Customer Service at Factory end . The Shop Man Alfie was fantastic . Though . Covent Garden

Fantastic refurbishment of my scuffed shoes. Great service. Its good to see a traditional brand still delivering a traditional service.

Never had a less than a favourable experience with repairs although my pair of suede boots returned by post this morning, to improve on the ‘out of box’ experience perhaps a little more time in refreshing the ‘nap’ and I can only suggest marks left by the polishing of the edge of the Daimite sole?

Cheaney went way beyond my expectations when they re-heeled my Oxfords. The shoes look brand new, they even gave me new laces. True customer service and craftsmanship.

Absolutely outstanding pair of boots
I ordered the tiger moth high leg boots in colour whisky.. absolutely perfect extremely well made very comfortable you can tell by how they are made that Joseph Chaney and sons are masters of their craft with outstanding skills at making shoes and boots... Well done iam extremely proud of my boots and I know they will last me a very very long time
