So Impressed!
I’m very impressed with this company and their products. I ordered the Ceylon Cinnamon Powder and Ceylon Pandan leaves. Unfortunately, they were unable to provide me with the leaves. To my surprise, not only did I get the cinnamon powder, I also received complementary peppercorns and cloves. The aroma and flavour of these products are wonderful. I had just run out of cloves. I keep them in my purse and use them as you would a breath mint. Completely natural, antibacterial and chemical free. Peppercorns are used daily in cooking, so having this high-quality peppercorn in my cupboard is very exciting. It did take some time to arrive however, you have to keep in mind that everything is handpicked and shipped from Sri Lanka! Thank you Ceylon Gardens, well done and I will be ordering again! I'm really happy with my experience with Ceylon Spice Garden. I ordered alba ground cinnamon and was surprised to get other gift spices in addition. That was a really nice surprise addition. When I ordered i just realized that I needed to be patient as this company is in Sri Lanka and as such wouldn't arrive overnight like we're all used to with Amazon. My order actually arrived 2 days earlier than the tracker initially said. The cinnamon seems to be good quality and I liked that I could read testing results. I'm going to order from them again.

The guide put some yellow cream on my neck with out asking me if it was okay. I had a white shirt on which is know totally covered in yellow stains. I find it very unprofessional and I’m really annoyed

BUYER BEWARE ...i placed an order for over $88 beginning of September. This company was quick to respond and thank me for the order ..they have not provided tracking information the do not answer any of my emails and I have not received the goods i orderedc nd paid for in good faith..No communication is unacceptable..I am pulling my hair out and very distressed ..I will have to seek legal advice ..this is no way to treat your customers. Unacceptable if there was a minus1* i would have selected that ..If the delivery was going to be 3 months they should have advised ..I now need to get my money back and make sure everyone knows what an unprofessional company this is ..

The cinnamon tastes great
The cinnamon tastes great! The shipping was slow which I can understand. The 4 stars was because of communication. I emailed through the web page but never recieved an answer. Finally recieved an email with shipping information & tracking number.

Painful lesson
ORIGINAL REVIEW 10/2: I placed an order and two weeks later it still had not shipped. I wrote the company and asked them to cancel my order since it had not shipped yet. They replied that they were waiting for a fresh batch of blue lotus and my package would go out Monday. That's not what I asked for, so I replied and asked again. I even went on the shopify app and tried to cancel my order there today Now they won't answer and the day they said they were going to mail it has come and gone with no shipping notification or info.
So you cannot cancel once you realize you're in for a much longer wait than they promised. I know it takes a while to get here but it's going to take even longer if you don't ship it for a month or you have to ship it in from somewhere else first. The website claimed they get your package to shipping in 3-5 days, so I'm not unreasonable for reaching out to customer support. Being ignored by customer support for so long, however, is unreasonable.
This place supposedly advertises testing for alkaloids, too, but their website doesn't actually give you any certificates to prove it. There were so many red flags, it was honestly a little bit my fault for not seeing it all sooner and going with my gut. I don't know what this is, but I feel like in two years we're all going to know this was the next nouchali/lookalike and not actually true caerulea.
EDIT 10/29: The teas arrived despite asking dozens of times with my order number by email and through their WhatsApp to cancel.
They did reach out on my review here. They apologized and told me to just email them my order number, only for them to then ignore me for another month. They now changed their reply here to falsely claim I'm harassing them. What a way to treat a customer who's order you messed up: ignore, reply, ignore, then make up an excuse about why they couldn't cancel the order the first three times I asked or the two times they actually did acknowledge me. "They were busy moving." Ok, sure looked like y'all were replying to reviews instead of emails.
Ugh, so I tried the Nymphaea caerulea anyways, because I'm dumb and returning it would've cost a bunch of money I might not have gotten back. I really wish I had just thrown it away, though. No noticable effects other than a bad stomach ache. I wouldn't drink this tea if it were free because I don't trust this place at all after this. I feel terrible today.
Tips: Seek out vendors that don't make misleading claims. Look for actual COAs regarding alkaloids and don't trust their website when it says they do something if they can't prove it with the receipts. This company claims on their website that they test for alkaloids and have COAs but the site leads you in circles and only shows you the lead tests.

During this period, we faced additional Blue Lotus export requirements involving the Forest Department, while also relocating our entire business to a new facility. These circumstances created significant operational challenges for our small team.
We responded to your email on October 4, explaining the fresh Blue Lotus batch delay. Your order #1652 was subsequently shipped internationally and successfully delivered by USPS on October 27, 2026.
We acknowledge that your cancellation request was not handled correctly. However, we also believe our team deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

Fantastic quality and flavours of the Ceylon Cinnamon and Cloves
Really happy with my order. The Ceylon Cinnamon has a lovely warm, delicate flavour — not harsh or overpowering and I’ve been enjoying it in everything from my morning breakfast to baking. The organic cloves are wonderfully aromatic and you can immediately smell the freshness when you open the packet. They are perfect for my morning tea, for curries and other spiced dishes.

Ordered 4 September, never shipped, cancelled 22 days later
I ordered 453g of Ceylon cinnamon on 4 September 2026 (order #1482) and paid in full.
The site advertises dispatch within 3–5 business days. After ten days with no movement I emailed, and to their credit they replied the next morning, a polite, personal message explaining that demand during the harvesting season had outpaced their supply chain. They committed to dispatching that Friday and offered free cloves and blue lotus as an apology. I was happy to wait.
The Friday came and went. No dispatch, no tracking number, and no message telling me the date had slipped. I followed up the following Monday and got no reply at all. On 22 September, 18 days after ordering, the order was still showing "preparing for shipping", so I cancelled it.
The delay itself is forgivable. Being given a firm date, watching it pass in silence, and then getting no answer at all when I asked what was happening is not.
Promising a specific dispatch date and then going silent when it is missed leaves the customer with no way to plan, in my case the cinnamon was a birthday gift and I had to buy something else at the last minute. One short email would have avoided all of it.
Order at your own risks or don't order from here if you actually need your parcel to arrive. Buy your Ceylon cinnamon from a European seller instead if you are in Europe.
UPDATE, 1 October 2026: Resolved. After I asked them to clarify the status of the order, they replied the same day, confirmed it had not been dispatched, and asked whether I wanted it shipped or cancelled. I asked for a cancellation and they refunded the full amount, including shipping, that same day. Thank you Manusha for handling this clearly and quickly. Raising my rating accordingly.

I had concerns about the legitimacy of this place after getting a Bit Defender warning. I contacted them and asked to cancel my order. They said they would gladly cancel it but also gave me some reassurances that they were legitimate so I decided to go ahead with the order. The order arrived. It was vacuum packed. They put in a bonus item of dried botanically for tea. So no complaints. Of course I can't exactly comment on the quality of the cinnamon that I ordered. I don't have a lab. Ir looks like cinnamon sticks of course. It seems to be the product that I ordered and it seems to be packaged well.

Money was taken out of my account straight away for my order. I received an email to say that the order has gone through. Over a week later, I have not received a tracking number. No response from multiple emails, calls and whatsapp message. Checked via this website for tracking information using the order number and my email, the message I received. "ORDER COULD NOT BE FOUND". DO NOT TRUST THIS! SAVE YOUR MONEY! SAVE YOUR TIME

Received the parcel Oct 8th.
Packaged well. The smell when opened had pleasantly strong floral aroma.
However, I'm not sure of how authentic it is after using it for a few days now and feel no different than if I was to drink a cup of English tea.
Disappointed with service and product.

We would also like to clarify one point: we did not send you a message stating that Order #1487 “could not be found.” Your order has remained in our system. The issue was that it had not yet been dispatched, so a carrier tracking number had not been generated.
We have now contacted you directly by email with a full update. Your Rare Egyptian Blue Lotus order is currently being prepared, and due to the recent dry/drought conditions in Sri Lanka, harvesting has taken longer than expected.
To make up for the delay, we are also adding an extra 50g of Rare Egyptian Blue Lotus, in addition to the 500g Regular Blue Lotus included with your offer, and your shipment will go by free express shipping.
