Scheduled a “virtual” appointment. I took time off but there was no one at the appointed time. I called directly and was placed on hold and disconnected.
I am thankful for the experience. Now I know they are unreliable and will go elsewhere. Should be renamed Certa “Un-Professional.”

Worst Experience.
Complete Bait and Switch. Crew worked one day then ghosted. Trashed the house. Quoted one price and after crew made a mess of the house and left for a week the sales guy (Scott) called to say to proceed it's going to be 2K more than quoted.
We said forget it. He calls back later and says okay same Price. We call him back to accept and he says good! But NO clean up and NO 2-year Warranty which had been part of the contract.
We say FORGET IT!
We are left with a completely trashed house and yard. Plastic randomly on areas of the house, ladders left up and thrown into landscaping, and other trash that they refused to clean up.
Stay away.

Excellent work, my house looks brand new. I am pleased with the color I chose and CertaPro Painters were so helpful with any questions I had. They assisted me in choosing my colors. The painters are very courteous and completed my house in about a day and half. I would definitely use them in the future for any other work I need at my house. I highly recommend CertaPro Painters.

I've hired CertaPro Painters twice for work at my house in GA. When my wife and I retired, we relocated to GA and hired CertaPro to repaint the entire interior. John Michal was the sales rep and he did a terrific job at providing an estimate of the project. Then he helped us select colors for each room and made specific notes regarding what we wanted in each room.

The painting team did an excellent job in keeping us informed of their progress. We were able to review each room as they completed it. If there were any concerns, they were handled immediately. The team made sure to clean up at the end of each day. At the end of the project, we did a complete walk-thru inspection. We were happy with the work they did.

We recently hired CertaPro again for some exterior painting of our porch ceiling, front door, and carport ceiling and trim. Again they did an excellent job of preparing the area, putting on primer coats and 2 coats of paint on all areas. It made everything look almost brand new!

Highly recommend CertaPro for any painting project you have!

Terrible experience. The crew was sloppy and dripped paint on my wooden floor and furniture. I had to tell them to paint behind the fridge and stove, otherwise they were going to skip those areas. When they pulled out the fridge, they broke the water line for the ice maker. They did, however, pay to have that repaired. They also broke off a piece of the decorative top trim of my kitchen cabinets and never said anything. The drop clothes they brought in were full of dirt from a previous job. They were supposed to remove the nails and hooks for my pictures and replace them in the same spot. They must of forgotten where some of them were to go, so they replaced them anywhere they felt like. Think twice before you decide to have them paint your home.

They made an appointment for my estimate two weeks out, I arranged my schedule around it for that afternoon, they then called the morning of to inform me my job was too small. They had 2 weeks to review my job's size... They knew the job parameters when they happily scheduled the appointment. Very unfortunate.

Run, run fast from CertaPro Strongsville/Medina, Ohio. Their speech sounds good, and it all goes downhill from there. After signing their online contract and paying the deposit, they ghosted me. No email replies, no phone message replies. Painter calls me unexpectedly, “we’re coming out tomorrow” no advance notice to get outside ready. They claimed they would power wash everything first when their sales rep was out. Nope, I guess painting over dust and dirt is good enough. After 2 coats, the old red is still showing through the new paint. Painter blames it on the crappy S/W paint. They came out a second time, touched some up, still looks horrible. A “supervisor” comes out on the THIRD trip. He argues it is the red going over dark red. It’s the same color just faded. Argues some more, not very professional. Nothing but whining and excuses. He says they should be charging me another $1,000 for doing the job again. Huh? Maybe you should have done it right in the first place. I wish I could post pictures. Still looks blotchy, white showing through the red in spots. Didn’t paint the edges of the shutters on many, still the faded red showing. Can’t even paint straight lines where the red meets the white framing. If I were younger, I would have gone up on the 2nd floor and done the job myself. It seem the company farms jobs out to any painters available. I got the Three Stooges to do my house. CertaPro, never again, look elsewhere.

The guy didn’t even show up for the first scheduled time to come and give us an estimate. When my husband tried to call and see what was going on, he didn’t answer calls or texts. When my husband called the main number the next day to see why he didn’t show up, the receptionist told us that she would have him call. She did NOT tell us that we had the date wrong, but when the guy called, that was his story. He came out a few days later and quoted over $8200 for a 3/2 ranch. RIDICULOUS. Horrible experience, but at least we found out how shady this company is before we made a mistake and hired them.

In request specified that the job was refinishing the front door. Estimator missed initial time, rescheduled for next day. showed up half hour late. Showed him the front door ..."Oh, is this all you want done? Hate to waste your time, but we don't do those." Well you did waste my time. He further said, "but we have someone we can recommend" I knew the person he suggested. She had looked at the door earlier, and her quote was twice the price of a new door.

DO NOT USE CERTAPRO painters. PLEASE Don't waste your money or time. My experience has been an absolute nightmare. It started off great with the sales person that came out to assess my home and give me a quote. I liked his ideas and thought the price was reasonable. However when the "professional team" I was promised came out it was a different story. They did a terrible job, after they were so called done. You could still see the paint that was already on the walls. There were uneven paint blots all over and they spilled paint on my wood floors in several areas. I paid extra for an accent wall which was blue and it spilled over on to the white trim and the wall. I was totally disappointed. I sent pictures to the managers or whoever they were, no response for several days. I finally got a call saying they would send a team out to "fix" the problems and no one showed up on that day. After my husband took off to be there to meet them. I had paid 2,500 hundred dollars for a sub par paint job but the anxiety and disappointment outweighs the money I spent. This company is Not professional at all. When I tired to explain the issues to the team during the walk through, none of them spoke English well so I don't think they understood when I was explaining the issues. PLEASE spend your money elsewhere. I will try to post pictures of the "finished" paint job it is terrible. I feel taken advantage of and helpless at this point. I keep getting different people on the phone that gives me someone else to contact about the issues, so far I've talked to about 5 people and nothing has been resolved. This is Not how business should be conducted. Truly disappointing and just hurtful

These guys were always on time, dedicated to their work, and went above and beyond to make sure I go the paint job I wanted. They even pulled some poorly installed towel bars off of the wall and patched the holes. They cleaned up after themselves, made sure they did not inconvenience anyone in the home, and were very, very good at communicating with me about the project. I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone I know who is looking to get their house painted, inside or out.

We had Luis from Certo pro painters do our fence and we are thrilled with him and his work. I can't say enough about him-his wife also helped and too was excellent. Very happy about their work.

Claudia and her painter were very professional ,worked in timely manner and did an excellent job. I would recommend Certapro to anyone .

The crew from the Ogden/Weber office were fantastic. The supervisor was on top of everything. They were all friendly and did a great job. They cleaned up everything both days. The supervisor had me come up the first day to show what they did. The last day he wanted me to check to make sure everything was good. They also came when they said they would. Will definitely use them again and hope it’s the same crew.

I hired CertaPro of Rockwall to paint my small galley kitchen small utility room and small master bath. They were to re-texture a portion of the master bath and remove all texture and re-texture the small kitchen. They also were to paint kitchen and bathroom cabinets. They charged me $8000. They promised me verbally and in writing a professional job. In my estimation they came nowhere near doing a professional job. The owner owner came out twice and had the painter redo the job. The Kitchen was textured and painted twice the cabinets in both kitchen and bathroom painted twice. I still have paint runs and drips in many places, texture was not applied correctly to the walls but was glommed on baseboards and light switches. There are many splotches and uneven surfaces on new cabinet doors and baseboards. There is paint on the floor in several places. I was advised they would keep sending the same people back to redo the job they were paid to do. I felt like Bill Murray in the movie Groundhog Day. At 75 years old I just couldn’t deal with those people traipsing through my house again and again and again and I just couldn’t fight with them any more. So I paid them and every day I find something new that’s wrong. That’s why I say to you just say no to CertaPro because their idea of professional work and yours may be different and you must be ready to fight for it.

We had a tight time frame on a multi-room home interior painting project and were promised a team of painters that could get the job done on time. The end results: 1 painter showed up for all but the last day and a half of the project (Then there were 2 painters) The job was not completed on time and was $3000 over budget! Nathan, who gave the bid, Laurie the office manager and Cesar the painter, all over promised but underdelivered.
Walls were not primed. The painter cleaned his paints out near our garden fountain. He left two unopened gallons of paint, two shades we did not choose, as well as a 5 gallon paint bucket, all of which he promised to return and pick up, but never did. When the initial paint we chose did not work, instead of stopping with one wall and making a change, he painted an entire large room which then all needed to be repainted in a different shade.
The good news: The project was eventually completed to our satisfaction. Cesar is a skilled painter and did take extra effort to help us choose a color that worked well in the room. I can not recommend this company. In fact, I would suggest you look elsewhere. We have had large painting projects previously that were on budget and we were pleased with. Not this project and not this company.

Was going to hire Certa Pro of Northwest Indiana until I got, hit with additional fees after, I had already given them a deposit of more than a thousand dollars. Needless to say, I canceled the contract. Here it is more than a month and I have not received my deposit, After repeated phone calls all you get is its iin the mail. We live in the same town, mail should net take more than a week. Further, they will not reissue a check even after I said I would come by and pick up a new check which they refused to issue, as then they would have to pay a cancelation fee.

My first interaction with CertaPro was when Jim, the owner came to my home and walked me through every detail of the process to paint the exterior of my home. He then emailed me a very detailed free estimate that I was extremely impressed with. I gathered hundreds of paint samples from every paint store that I could find but I still couldn’t find the exact color that I wanted. I called Jim a couple days before they were to start the job and he offered to find the color that I wanted. He chose the exact shade, much to my surprise. I am thrilled with the final results.
Henry Umana, the project manager, did a fantastic job prepping the house, caulking everywhere that needed it, fixing cracks in the stucco and painting the exterior of my home. I would give him a 10++++ review for his work ethic, professionalism and dedication to providing a quality outcome. Henry is a super nice person and I highly recommend him and CertaPro to complete any painting job that you have.

PS. I think people should know that there are individually owned CertaPro Painters all over the country and people should specify which one they are reviewing. 😊

One of the best painting company's I ever hired they painted my entire townhome and did one excellent job would hire them again for sure.

Horrible Experience workers don't show up, and the owner doesn't call me back or check in to see if his workers show up—six days of no-show and never a reason why. Removing popcorn off the ceiling should have taken two weeks, but it's six weeks later, and the project is only one-third done. The project included cleaning up, but you lived in chaos for two weeks, and you cleaned it up. The Owner Johnathan in Boerne, Tx, promises you everything, but his workers can't do a Monterrey Texture on the wall and are afraid to remove the wallpaper. He doesn't have another crew to send; he keeps trying to send the same team that doesn't show up. A dream project that turned out to be a nightmare and a big disappointment. ( Two weeks of no-shows, I agreed I would try again Monday they didn't show up, and the owner didn't follow up )
