Fantastic Service from Survey to Install
Fantastic Service from Neil who came to survey the stairs, keeping us on the straight and narrow for our house renovations and relocation of the stairs. Not many companies give customer service like that these days. The team that came to install the stairs were efficient and professional.
Altogether a great service from the team at Central Joinery, we would highly recommend them.

Svar fra Central Joinery Group
Hi Asa, Thank you for your feedback.
As was talked about with you last week there was a breakdown which unfortunately delayed your order. The team managed to manufacture your 1st staircase which was delivered significantly ahead of time as your deposit was paid on the 21st of June and the 1st staircase was delivered 2 weeks later (you were quoted 4 weeks). We let you know that the machine was back working and the 2nd staircase would be delivered W/C 8th July, which means your overall order would have been delivered within a 3-week window not 4 weeks.
I will pass your feedback on to the Sales team and we will endeavour to improve our communication where possible.
Responsive, fast and Quality
We had Central Joinery recommended to us by our longstanding cabinet maker, who himself is excellent so we had high hopes. We haven't been disappointed! Mark Wrath from the company immediately responded to our query and was on site within days of first contact. The turn around time on the quote and fitting has been excellent. Very straightforward to deal with and you really do get exactly what you are expecting. Quality staircase designed and installed. Everyone we have dealt with is very professional. Thank you

Completely trustworthy firm
Met them at the NEC show. Not pushy and accurate with costs then and throughout. The 2 men that did the work were professional, delightful, neat and tidy workers with a gazebo workspace outside and hoovered up afterwards. Putting in a 2nd handrail matched the other ones style perfectly. I was astounded that they angled the corners around the top of the bend beautifully so it's wonderfully smooth. Completely trustworthy firm.

Mismanaged order
Four white balusters on staircase were supposed to be replaced with new wooden ones. After installation of glass side panels and a new wooden handrail it was stated it would then be too difficult to replace the old balusters and had to be left.
Similar issue was had for newel caps, 5-6 required replacing with the same wooden effect to match the new handrail but was left out. This was only done after contacting customer support which also adjusted the overall cost.
Installer did good work, but the staff member who came to measure and order mismanaged it all.
Overall, I wouldn’t go though the hassle this company caused again.
Edit: installer even stated it was strange why the different coloured posts were left out by whoever measured.

Svar fra Central Joinery Group
Hi Alex,
Thank you for your feedback although your comments are very disappointing and very confusing. If you are referencing the newel posts, It was made very clear at the point of your survey that these could not be replaced as these were structurally supporting the staircase. We did however offer to clad these but this was declined by the homeowner. However, when attending the site to meet the customer (who wasn’t our customer as we were dealing directly with you) Our installation team offered to replace the newel caps to match their oak handrail. This cost was then passed on to you. If you would like to discuss this further, please give us a call on 01283 212142
