Poor communication, received refund 2 1/2 weeks after placed order.

First time shopping with Cater-Connect and what a experience. Quick delivery, great price and on hand customer service via the phone which I found really useful. A special thank you to Sam in the office.

We had a children’s football presentation for Tyler Hill FC and last minute required a large griddle and fryers. Cater-Connect supplied so quickly through click & collect.

Cater connect is one of the worst companies i have dealt with.
When returning my goods back to them, they have charged 35% for restocking. When i sent them 6 pans back and they have only refunded me for 5 pans. When i complained that I had sent 6 pans, they said they only received 5 pans. I will never order from this scamming company again.

Ordered mobile hand wash station for next day delivery. Had order confirmed only to follow up with email informing me price had increased as of today by £100,so I would need to pay another £100!
Item available cheaper elsewhere so asked to cancel now must wait 3-5 days for refund. As a local catering business to this companies location very dissapointed that trying to support local was such a waste of time. Unprofessional and bad practice to sell something and then ask for another £100 on a item that started @ £500

Very helpful fast efficient delivery and the product is perfect

We purchased a blue seal griddle with a fridge base and an unox oven. All equipment was consulted and site survey before we purchased, really took the stress off us for our new opening.

Really easy to use - great company ! Recommended definitely

I deleted my first one* star review because they answered with the date of delivery (after 3 first emails)
And as you understand all time frames already passed and i still didn’t receive my order.

We had a delay on our delivery but we received order updates once a week from two lovely ladies within customer service. Thank you Jana & Amber! We love our new unox oven!!!

I had to wait for more than three weeks for the delivery due to no stock after i made the payment. And then no one was gonna contact me
about the delivery date until i made many phone calls to find out which they even told me the wrong date. The worst thing was they gave the wrong information （wrong buyer name and business name）to the delivery people which causing them deliver to the wrong door . If i did not turn up on time it would be returned the driver said. Just so so disappointed. Never recommend.

Good price, quick delivery and easy to deal with.

I do not recommend this company based on my recent experience with them.
We placed an order for a Dualit Toaster on 15th January. It was showing in stock with 3-5 day delivery.
I contacted their web chat on 24th January to enquire whether it had been dispatched and was advised that it had been sent that afternoon and would be delivered on Friday 27th.
The following day (Wednesday 25th) we received the email confirmation that it had been dispatched.
There was no tracking information included, I spoke with an advisor by telephone on Monday 30th who said they would send the tracking information via email. When this didn't materialise I contacted them again and was advised by Sales Assistant Amber that the order hadn't been dispatched at all, but rest assured, she had personally picked and packed the order for dispatch that day with next day delivery. She then provided tracking information.
Unfortunately the tracking information shows that the order has not yet entered the couriers network - they confirmed that they have not taken receipt of the item yet.
I have no trust in this company based on the continued lies from employees. We are left £250 out of pocket (including an extortionate £15.99 delivery charge!) and 3 weeks later with no order is unacceptable.
Interestingly, the same item on their website now shows as "in stock" with a 3-4 week lead time to be custom made. I suspect this is the true story and staff are trying to cover up a mistake and keep us hanging on.
We will be making a charge back request via our bank instead for goods not received, having given Cater Connect plenty of opportunity to rectify this issue.
It was actually their email to suggest a Trust Pilot review that prompted me to write this. I won't hold my breath for them getting in touch now that I have.

I thought I'd come back and update the review now that the toaster has arrived. We are very happy with it, it looks like it will last us a good while.
Unfortunately my opinion of Cater Connect is the same. The Owner Samuel contacted us by telephone the day after posting my review above, thanking me for my "emotional" and "inaccurate" review and berating me for not getting in touch with them first - funnily enough it turned out one of the people I spoke with previously on the phone was him! He then proceeded to mansplain supply chains and shipping contracts to me - but couldn't explain why a product that his company listed as "in stock" had taken 3 weeks to be shipped. He also said he'd be happy to refund the £15.99 shipping fee but only if I removed this review.
As I told him on the phone, you cannot buy me and I would rather leave this review up to warn other people - £15.99 well spent in my opinion :)
When the toaster arrived, the packing slip contained a note which showed they had only received the toaster into their warehouse on 31st January.
