Excellent Radiators, Great Customer Service, Will Use Again.

I bought a radiator and asked for it to be shipped to Italy which was no problem at all. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. Great company. Definitely recommend it.

I spoke to the team in the showroom who helped me pick what i wanted, they really knew their stuff and nothing was too much trouble. When they arrived i was delighted, they look fantastic! Thank you

Don’t be fooled by the discounts on offer. Hands down the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of buying goods from. Once they have taken your money there is no regard for the quality of service they provide. Appalling delays in rectifying issues with the products, stalling tactics in refunding monies owed and the worst part, continually moving the goal posts as they see fit. I urge you NOT to buy from this retailer. There are other providers offering far superior products and customer service.

This business is a joke. Gorgeous ornate radiator that was meant to come in two parts. Arrived whole on a palet. Three of managed to carry it six meters and had to leave it in the hallway. Was meant to go in upstairs bedroom and the London salesman knew this. The delivery docket showed it weighed 250kg ! They would not collect it without me paying and the courier would not move it from my hallway. In all the return cost me £320 to get it professionally moved back to the palet. I took photos of the radiator before returning, it was perfect. Was wrapped securely with two rolls of padded protection, was surprised to receive a call from one of the directors to tell me that one section had been very badly damaged. After asking for photographic evidence, the damage turned out to be a pin hole in a section. I don’t know if it was already there, can’t prove it either way. They deducted a section cost in any event. So in summary, for a £1200 radiator it cost me £320 to return, what a pleasure. In researching this company it looks that many companies are intertwined and led by two brothers. Take care as you may get a duff radiator, be out of pocket and receive shocking customer service.

I purchased two very handsome radiators from this company, along with valves.

The radiators came with damage to paint, so I called them and a little pot of paint came for me to touch it up. They were very personable and I accepted this solution, although the end result isn't perfect.

10months later a valve fails.
Or rather it has been leaking since installation, but it's taken me 3 plumber visits from 2 different plumbers to be confident it is the valve not installation etc.

I call cast iron radiators ltd. they are very personable people, and so I expected this to be resolved easily. But no.

At least 4 phone calls, and no good solution.

They see a photo of the valve, and agree its damaged.
Can I get a new valve? NO

I need to call a plumber to come and remove valve.
Post it to them
They will inspect it
And then will send me a replacement.
So I can call out the plumber to install it.

This is unacceptable.
Surely when a customer has spent £900ish and then complains of a fault in a £20 item you'd send out a replacement and ask the customer to send the faulty one back to them.

But no.

They suggest they will send a courier to collect valve and the plumber can remove it and then install the new one whilst the courier is there.
But I need to book the plumber to arrive at the same time as courier.
What if courier doesn't arrive? I'll have to pay plumber to do nothing.

I suggest they send someone to replace the valve but they refuse.

They suggest I buy new one and then they will refund me when the faulty one is returned.

They won't pay the postage.

I'm stunned that a company would be so crap.

I don’t know where to start with this company. We have spent many thousands with them (maybe £15k to £20k - it pains me to think of it) having ordered just short of 20 radiators from them. We chose them because their radiators seemed good quality and came with a long manufacturer’s guarantee. However, we have had a long litany of problems that have delayed our renovation project and the abject customer service team means we have very much regretted it.

Initially they sent us radiators that didn’t meet the output requirements specified by the heating engineer. We then ordered more and despite telling us the radiators were in stock, they failed to deliver some of the radiators which took many weeks longer to obtain. We then urgently needed a small part and rather than simply send it to retain some good will in recognition of the money we had spent with them and the problems caused by their supply chain / delivery issues, they insisted on waiting for funds (£50 or so) to clear in their account as, according to their salesman, this was company policy. I had assured him that we had transferred the cash but he was adamant that he needed his accounts to confirm it had been received which delayed us even longer and caused us additional costs with our plumbers. I keep meaning to post a review just so others could be aware of these issues but we’ve been so busy with our project that I just haven’t got round to it.

Until today! One of the valves was faulty which caused a leak and damaged a newly plastered ceiling and delayed the commissioning of our boiler and plumbing even further. We sent it back and rather than just refund us for it (a small cost), they have sent it for testing. Out of principle, we have chased them many times having heard nothing and they now tell us that tests were inconclusive and one of their MDs is mulling it over. Seriously, it’s not a fashion item! We have obviously sent it back because the new valve isn’t working - if it worked (and didn't blumming leak everywhere!) we would obviously have kept it. Apart from the fact that they have a statutory obligation to refund us, I would have thought that, having spent many thousands with this company they would sort it out asap. However, from experience, the sales team may stick to company policy but they really couldn’t care less about customer experience and make no effort whatsoever to preserve goodwill or a corporate reputation.

I’ve given two stars as the radiators themselves seem ok so far. Personally, I wish we had used Castrads who we had also received quotes from. Whilst our radiators have a longer warranty in place, the after care service at this place makes me seriously question the value of that warranty.

And breathe...!

Absolute disgrace of a company total cowboys, delivered it and charged £40.00 with one man and a limp in a black bin bag, arrived chippedand refused to refund me for the whole order. I lost the delivery charge and custom spray paint costing me £100.00 out of pocket because I refused to let them fix it after waiting 10 weeks for the delivery already. Ever buy there isn’t worth the hassle and arguments.

A completely positive experience from start to finish!

The radiators are fabulous, the Ardenbrite finish absolutely worth the extra, unsurpassed depth & richness of colour! And of course work well too.

They are things of beauty!

I have an old Georgian house and bought 2 radiators then decided to take other radiators out and bought two more.
The customer services were excellent as I had a problem with one radiator and they collected it repaired it and returned it without any problem.
These are painted black with brass fittings and people comment on how expensive they must have been but they were very reasonable compared to others .I fully recommend these radiators and the team.

I found the whole idea of buying new radiators quite daunting, but a quick call put my mind at ease. The staff were very helpful to ensure I had placed my order correctly. My new radiators arrived quickly and look splendid. Overall I'm very pleased and would recommend to others.
