This benefit saved us when an unknown person/object/vehicle slammed into our rental van overnight. We didn't know we had the benefit as Capital One Venture cardholders, and what a relief when we discovered we were covered.
Once we filed, things moved smoothly. The only real snag was the website kept crashing on both Chrome and Safari. We had to use a different computer to file. Also, Budget was not being forthcoming with documents. Thats not Capital One's fault, but it was problematic as the rental was overseas. Nonetheless we got reimbursed and we are very pleased with this service on our card.

Easy Automobile Damage Claim Experience
I've never needed to file a claim in the past but I was recently in Los Angeles and didn't realize that someone side-swiped our rental vehicle in the parking lot of the hotel. We were informed of the damage when we returned the rental. Thankfully, I knew my Visa Infinite card carried primary auto damage insurance and looked up how to file a claim. I was able to submit the rental agreement information immediately and uploaded a copy of the damage letter once I received it from the rental car agency. From there, the card claims center sent payment directly to the rental car agency and my claim was satisfied. It was easy and made me feel good about using my credit card for all of my purchases, especially those related to travel.

I did not have have any expectations
I did not have have any expectations. Nothing like this had happened to me before. As far as the claim goes everyone I spoke with was very nice but I thought it took forever to get anywhere. I guess if I had been lucky enough to be in contact with the last person that gave me instructions on what else to do it would not have taken taken as long as it did. Overall everything worked out fine.
I would recommend.

Best coverage for rental cars!
We had an incident in our rental car in Glacier National Park and Card Claims Center was our saving grace! The process to submit the claim was easy and everything was done online. Whenever I called in to check on the claim, the customer service agents were extremely helpful, professional, and personable. The online system was very easy to use and easy to upload documents. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. My claim was reviewed and processed within 10 days (as indicated on the online form). I received the reimbursement a few days later. I couldn’t have asked for a more straightforward or quick process! They helped overcome Hertz's poor handling of the situation
I backed into a parked car with my Hertz rental car, and Card Benefit Services covered the damage. While Hertz did a rather bad and very irritating job of dealing with the issue, Card Benefit Services took extra steps to help overcome Hertz's incompetence. This made the experience much better.

claim took over 2 months to resolve--we did not cause the damage (car hit in parking lot when we were not present) even with this insurance and good primary insurance we were still out of pocket for over $800
