We purchased a 2014 jeep grand Cherokee set from Carco in 2023, the lifters let go a few months after owning the vehicle.
They apparently replaced the engine, brand new long block. 1.5 years later, the lifters have let go again. All Jeep specialists I’ve spoken to said that would never happen with a genuine new long block. Carco has now lost the engine number and all documentation from the engine swap. Mind you they also didn’t change the engine number on paperwork so my insurance has been void for the last year and a half. I got an email saying to send them the engine number so she can complete her paperwork 😂 only after requesting the warranty and the receipt and documentation of engine number swap so I can show my insurance provider that it was definitely a new motor installed. When they installed the last motor they also broke half of my interior plastics & the radiator needed replacing two weeks after installation. This is just the beginning, I’ve been trying to get through to them for days. Multiple calls all with ‘ I’ll get someone to call you back in 10-15 minutes’ no one calls. They’re the dodgiest caryard I’ve ever dealt with and I will be seeking legal action.
Do not trust carco they don’t sell good vehicles

Paid $70,000 for prado our dream family car which had defects after we bought it. Leaks from windscreen, brakes need replacing only on legal limit and now I have a leak from the aircon on passenger side, contacted the stat warranty lady she does not reply back.
Very disappointing they act all professional but just want to sell the vehicle and don’t care about you anymore.
Please do not trust this car yard.

7 Weeks and counting ............
Took a GWM ute, as it had gone into limp mode, it's now 7 weeks and still no answers. The only way to speak to someone in service is to go there in person, they don't answer the phone that often. Oh, also tools I had in a locked toolbox have disappeared. I own a number of vehicles, that they service. So, as you can see, I am extremely frustrated and at a loss as to what to do next. DO NOT ever send your vehicle to them for services and repairs. There will bo no next time for me.

I dealt with Tanaka Zulu as a buyer and had a very positive experience - responsive, fair, on time, quick payment, prompt collection of car, transparent, and an all-round nice guy to deal with. As a seller, very happy with my experience. Also pleased to know that my beloved and very well maintained Land Cruiser will find a happy new owner via CarCo.
DO NOT BUY FROM CARCO
After 22 phones calls, 3 texts, left 4 messages, left 3 voice mails, spoke to 6 different people, multiple emails, I even went in to the shop... due to them selling me a car with parts missing from the engine, derived with tyres 45%% under inflated (not exaggerating), no water in wind shield washer, air filter full of sand, glass battery dead, main battery also failed bench test, oil valve leaking, auto stop start not working, Warnings: run flat indicator inoperative, break assist inoperative, active break assist function limited. And now they refuse to carry out statutory warranty to get any of the above resolve. Mercedes MLA45 issues in less than 60 days of owning the car.

WARNING! Don't ever get a dealership warranty off these people because it's a scam. They tell you the ceramic coating and buff and polish is complimentary with your warranty until you want a refund and they over inflate their prices to rip you off, apparently it costs $4900 for a ceramic coat and Scotchgard of interior and $1500 for a "buff and polish" ok next joke, and then the lady on the phone reckons they strip the old ceramic coating off the paint then reapply it. Do you know how ridiculous that sounds? Like your going to strip the coating and risk damaging the paint on a 160k car.. Anyway lesson learned.. I won't be going back or recommending them.
Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience with Carco and would not recommend them based on my dealings. Despite repeated attempts to confirm that the vehicle was ready for pick-up, I flew to Perth only to find the car was not ready. I ended up waiting at the yard for several hours while they re-fitted the driving lights they had removed rather than repaired.
Communication was very poor throughout. My requests for updates or confirmation of agreed items were largely ignored, and the team seemed far more focused on meeting sales quotas than providing any meaningful customer service.
Key items that were promised as part of the sale were not delivered. The tonneau cover, which was confirmed to be ready for collection, still hasn’t been provided despite further follow-up. A dent in the door that was supposed to be repaired was also left untouched.
Overall, this dealership appears to be more interested in pushing volume sales (their words) than ensuring a good customer experience. Tread with caution—I certainly won’t be using them again.
Dishonest and will never recommend
They (in WA) took 6+ weeks and involvement of Consumer Affairs to deliver me a car with known defects that was already in the yard. They kept delaying and saying they fixed issues to find that they didn't. SInce I obtained 3 indepedant expert options they had no choice but to fix it however, would not fix the other issue. I will never recomend them to anyone due to my experiences.

Do not go near this company
If I could rate carco plus Smithfield a 0 I would. Bought a car 6 months ago, was told the dvd player worked in the back and it didn’t. Had calls ignored, lots of back and forth for months until I threatened to take them to trading standards. Finally it was fixed. Few months later my exhaust started blowing smoke. Taken to several mechanics who can’t figure out what the problem is. Now I’m stuck with a car that can’t be driven . Stay well away from this dodgy company

Reza at Carco did a great job selling my 2yr old Landcrusier LC79. As it was setup as an offroad camper it was a limited market and Reza found a buyer and negotiated with them in a relatively short time. Much easier to sell a higher end car this way than privately. Good job Carco

Booked a 10 000 KM service for a 2023…
Booked a 10 000 KM service for a 2023 Suzuki Vitara.
1. Date changed By service department, left until Friday afternoon 3pm service due Monday, changed to Tuesday. This messes around my holiday planning, okay $15 discount. But wait there is more!
2. Car that was booked was apparently for 2018 Suzuki Vitara for 50 000 Km service. It does get better.
3. Arrive on Tuesday to drop off car. Request that they rotate tyres, service lady says that will cost $ 65.00. No I am not paying for an item that is part of the service. Would you like the free vacuum and wash, I reply yes! Wait for it more on that later.
4. Collect car, partner collected as I had an errand to do. First thing noticed was a stone in the driver footwell, okay, throw it out. Check the vacuum out, only front mats cleaned. Mark on passenger arm rest noticed a day before, still there. Spots on roof still there and some bumper splatter, still there. CAR WAS NEVER WASHED OR VACUUMED WITH ANY SENSE OF PRIDE, COMPLEMENTARY, WAS NOT DONE SO SHOULD NOT BE MENTIONED, (NOT WORTH THE MENTION).
5. Clearly stated on the invoice, check condition of tyres and rotate. DEFINATELY NOT DONE, NO FINGER MARKS ON STILL DUSTY RIMS, OH, DIFFERENT TYRES ON BACK WHEELS, STILL IN SAME PLACE. REMEMBER THE CLOWN RECEPTIONIST WANTED TO CHARGE $ 65 FOR THIS.
6. Clearly stated on invoice, balance and check pressures of tyres. CERTAINLY NOT DONE, THERE IS A TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM ON THE DASH CLEARLY SHOWING THE 4 TYRES AT DIFFERENT PRESSURES, HOW DUMB CAN A TECH BE NOT TO NOTICE?
7. Suzuki Windscreen washer fluid charged for. BUT, THE WASHER BOTTLE WAS NOT TOPPED UP, WAIT LET US CHECK THE OIL.
8. Pull the dipstick of the engine and wipe with clean kitchen towel. THE OIL WAS CLEARLY DIRTY, OIL ONLY TOPPED UP, BUT, $65 CHARGED FOR 4 LITRES OF OIL. MAYBE THE OIL FILTER WAS NOT CHANGED, BUT,M IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN.
9. The wheels were not removed, how does the tech check brake pads and linings, part of the service?
Quite frankly this business should never be allowed to service anyone's, let alone dealership guaranteed services. Shame on you Suzuki, Mitsubishi, GWM, Nissan and Isuzu. JOHN USED TO BE, IN MY BOOKS, THE SHONKIEST DEALERSHIP. NOW THE PRIZE FALLS TO CARCO.
Great customer service
Hi just wanted to a huge thanks to Lamie, in the service department. She was amazing and went above and beyond my expectations..I brought back my levorg as it had a issue with the speakers and was told that they get some in and fix the problem,and I could pick the car up until they arrive..No worries. But 1day later Lamie rang and made my day,and told me that they would replaced with new speaker and I can pick my car up on Friday.. awesome service and I couldn't be happier. Thanks again for everything..

I bought a Mondeo of these car salesman for my daughter sight unseen as they were 600km away.
Two weeks after delivery it has transmission faults. They don't return calls or text.
Stupid as I was I sent the money first.
