I purchase a Mercedis benzGle from CARPLANET on the 16 march 2026 they sold me a car that have engine problems and they MISLED ME BY not servicing the car and they told me they did ,The last service was21/01/2025 and i bought the car on the 16 march 2026 the adblue light came on on the 7may 2026 and i top up the adblue with 10 litre and the light was still on, In 2 months after buying the car start giving many problems also i got 6 months warranty which comes with the purchase of the car also i purchase extra 3 years warranty from the company the car stop driving on the 4 june 2026 the RAC sad the car wasnt fit for purpose they collected the car and bring it to them and they refuse to fix the car saying i drive the car without adblue which is not true i told them to undwind the deal they refuse CAR PLANET IS NOT A RELIABLE CAR COMPANY PLEAS DO NOT GO THERE FOR YOUR OWN PEACE OF MIND have invoice to confirm

We are sorry to hear that you remain dissatisfied with the outcome of your case. However, we do feel that this review does not accurately reflect the circumstances.
As previously communicated, we initially accepted the vehicle into our workshop and were prepared to investigate and repair the reported concerns. Following a full diagnostic inspection, multiple technicians independently reached the same conclusion regarding the cause of the fault. Based on their findings, it was determined that the issue was not due to a pre-existing defect but was consistent with driver-related factors. Unfortunately, this meant we were unable to accept liability for the repairs.
These findings have been documented by our technicians and have been communicated to you throughout the process. The same information has also been shared with your finance company as part of their review.
Despite this, we have continued to assist you by discussing alternative options, including a part exchange, privately arranged repairs, and complimentary delivery to minimise any inconvenience.
Furthermore, as a gesture of goodwill, we stored your vehicle at our premises for approximately one month while you were away on holiday. Ordinarily, storage charges may apply in such circumstances; however, we chose not to charge you any storage fees in an effort to support you during this matter.
We appreciate that this is not the outcome you were hoping for, but we do not believe it is fair to suggest that we have refused to help. We have investigated the matter thoroughly, considered the available evidence, and provided our position based on the technical findings, while also making additional goodwill gestures to assist you where possible.

Avoid at all costs. Currently in a legal dispute as we were sold a faulty car which they have failed to repair or provide a refund for. Calls and emails go entirely unanswered by after sales team. Do not under any circumstances purchase from this company.

Promises not kept Kaleem Mehmood
When I went to collect my car the items that were promised were not delivered, the car was supposed to have a full valet done ready for collection, fuel was supposed to be added as tank was empty and number plate clips were supposed to of been replaced, as promised by Kaleem Mehmood. I was booked in for 6pm for collection when I arrived the car was in exactly the same spot I had parked it in after test drive and was filthy I was seen at almost 8pm with other customers arriving after me seen first its only because I complained to the manager I was seen next, the car had not been washed the service was appalling I was told I could bring the car back and they would put this right I have emailed Kaleem twice and he hasn't even had the decency to reply.

Absolutely terrible customer service from start to finish.
The staff had very little knowledge about the Ghost immobiliser fitted to the car and were unable to answer basic questions. After my finance was approved, communication was extremely poor. I made several calls but received no response, leaving me completely in the dark.
Before collection, I informed the dealership that I would be arriving the following morning and specifically asked for the car to be washed and ready. When I arrived, the car had not been cleaned, and I was forced to wait an extra hour while they prepared it. This should have been done before my arrival.but car was still not clean inside properly it was dusty.
The whole experience felt unprofessional and disorganised. Buying a car should be an exciting experience, but instead it was frustrating and stressful due to poor communication, lack of product knowledge, and failure to prepare the vehicle as promised. I would not recommend this dealership based on my experience.

My experience with Car Planet Watford…
My experience with Car Planet Watford was mixed.
Initially, the sales process was positive. However, after cancelling my purchase, I experienced significant delays in receiving the return of my £500 deposit. I first requested the refund on 16 July 2026 and, despite several follow-up emails and telephone conversations with different members of staff, I had to repeatedly chase the matter. The lack of communication during this period was disappointing and caused unnecessary frustration.
The reason I have given three stars rather than fewer is because, after I escalated my concerns to the Customer Relations team, Mashrur took ownership of the issue. He responded promptly, kept me updated, and ensured that my refund was processed and returned to my account the very same day.
I hope Car Planet can improve its communication and refund process so that future customers do not have to go through the same experience. Credit where it is due, however—once the matter reached the right person, it was resolved quickly and professionally.
