After reading the negative reviews online I went into the dealership with this in mind, however I was met with lovely staff who helped me so much, the sales man even came in on his day off to help with finance, I purchased a Range Rover and the condition was stunning/clean. The mangers and finance was lovely to deal with and everyone seemed happy and friendly, I can honestly say I had a great experience with car planet Watford.

Ish was a great help.We went to view a car and brought it. He addressed all our questions and wasnt pushy at all. Great with the kids. And explained all we needed to know. Thank you
We had never been to carplanet before. It takes a bit of time so all i would say is book to view prior to going or be prepared to wait. It took about 3 1/2 hours for the process from start to payment. And luckily we were seen straight away. (Not all the cars are on site and they need to request them to be brought to the location). Then we booked to collect it the next day and that took 1 hour and 30.

1 star – Terrible experience with Car Planet Barnet
Honestly, I would not recommend Car Planet Barnet based on my experience.
A credit check was carried out without me being made aware or giving what I understood to be permission for it. I then wanted to cancel the purchase, but I was told it had gone too far, despite the fact that I had not signed anything at that point.
My part-exchange was also valued lower than I expected, and I was given promises regarding the deal and after-sales issues that have not been kept.
I was told issues with the tyres would be sorted before the car was delivered. They were not. I ended up receiving a car with all four tyres being different and with poor tyre tread, despite being told this would be addressed before delivery.
There is also an issue with the car’s MMI/CUPRA CONNECT system. The previous user is still registered as the Primary User, and I cannot remove them or register myself. I have contacted CUPRA, who advised that the previous user needs to disconnect from the vehicle. Car Planet have not resolved this or provided the help I need.
I am also still waiting for my £500 deposit refund and other payments that were promised.
The worst part has been the lack of communication after the sale. Since 24 August I have been calling and emailing and have received no proper response or resolution. I am now having to chase them repeatedly for issues that should have been dealt with before and after the car was delivered.
If I could go back in time, I would not have bought the car from Car Planet Barnet. I should have read the reviews more carefully before going ahead.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this branch. The sales process was one thing, but the after-sales service and communication have been extremely disappointing.

Really happy with the whole experience from start to finish. Aaron was brilliant throughout the process! friendly, professional and genuinely helpful without ever making me feel pressured into anything.
He made everything really straightforward, answered any questions I had and kept me updated throughout. I felt very well looked after and the level of customer service was excellent.
I was also really pleased with the price they gave me for my part exchange. They offered me a very fair price, which made the whole process of changing cars even easier.
Overall, buying the car was smooth and stress-free, and I couldn’t be happier with how I was treated. A massive thank you to Aaron for all his help!

I Came to Car Planet to search for a car with a specific spec and saw that they had one. I called them and was able to go and view the car right away with no appointment necessary.
When I got to the address the place looked clean professional and inviting. This is when I met the salesman Oliver that was looking after me. He showed me around the the car inside and out and answered all my questions honestly with nothing to hide.
After the test drive when I decided I wanted the car Oliver took me inside and I was shown all the history of the car from MOT history to HPI checks for piece of mind, he also talked me through the extras that were on offer like Superguard and RAC warranty which was nice to see.
I've been in the motor trade for 14 years and the way I and all the other customers I saw were treated was professional indeed. Oliver couldn't of done more for me if he tried and is a credit to the company, I can safely say he will go far in his career as a sales executive. I highly recommend Car Planet if you are planning to buy a car, I visited other garages before here and the standard was levels above where I had been before.
I work for a BMW main dealer and my sales team have to memorise all the specs and stats for BMW and MINI so I was shocked to see that the sales team knew all their stock inside and out seeing as they deal with many manufacturers.
Don't hesitate and visit Car Planet. Don't be disheartened if they don't have the car you want as they have other branches to see and I'm sure they will still help you all the way
