Do Not Use - Approach with caution

As with all others on here submitting a complaint, I paid £5.95 for a one off report, but nowhere is it clear that this then activates a subscription despite what their auto response constantly states here. Luckily my bank blocked the additional payment, but now I have the inconvenience of my card being cancelled.

I received my report as requested, but the company works on the basis that they will probably catch a few people out on the subscription. This will trap those who are not IT literate and their banks don't pick up the fraud.

What a con! £45+ for one report!

What a con. They charge you £5.95 for the initial check then within days take a further £39.90. Customer service? There is no customer service there is merely a copy and paste, robotic reply with no attention to detail, care or understanding by this company. You receive generic emails and a complete lack of support or empathy.
Would highly recommend you avoid this company. As a single Mum who needed to check her car history, it cost me £45.85 for one report! Extremely disappointed and saddened by this firm. Please avoid.

TRUST THE BAD REVIEWS

Would give zero stars if possible. Appalling company who trick you into signing up to a costly (£39) monthly subscription - which is NOT clearly mentioned at any point - and then refuse to refund even once you cancel the subscription.
Trust the bad reviews and do not use this company, shady and non trustworthy.

Dreadful! Rely on misleading people

Paid £1.95 for the basic check on a single car, only to be charged £39.90 2 days later for a subscription I didn’t want.

Emailed for a refund of the £39.90 that is pending to be told “it’s in T&C’s so no”.

Disgraceful way to operate an alleged business. Will always use Car Vertical etc in future as usual, who clearly state all costs and care for customers in after sales rather than this company who clearly don’t care or wish for your return.

Scam company. Had to block my card details with my bank incase they did it again.

I would give zero stars if I could

I would give zero stars if I could, my husband wanted a check doing on a car, didn't know there was a subscription, £5.94, taken £39 in jan, sent an email, replied back saying cancelled subscription & will refund, nothing, taken another £39 in March, this is fraud, this is my bank not my husband's so different name, I will be reporting
