This has been, without a doubt, the most frustrating and stressful online shopping experience I have ever had. I strongly advise against purchasing from Candy Catz.
My ordeal began on September 26th, when I placed an order for over $150. The confirmation email stated a 4-6 day processing time and 6-9 day shipping window. This timeframe came and went with no update. After I followed up with the company twice, my items were finally shipped on October 16th, well past their promised window.
When the tracking finally updated to "delivered," I checked my mailbox only to find a packing slip. There was no package and no items.
I immediately contacted Candy Catz, who provided zero assistance. They told me they are not responsible for lost packages and that I had to deal with USPS directly. This started a long and difficult process of filing multiple claims with USPS, who ultimately could not locate the package.
USPS informed me the items were insured and that the merchant (Candy Catz) could file a claim. However, I also discovered they had only insured the package for $100—more than $50 less than what I paid.
I have reached out to Candy Catz a total of 20 times. I forwarded them all my communication from USPS, including the information that they could file the claim. Their customer service response was appalling. They had no desire to help and repeatedly sent short, curt emails stating that since the tracking said "delivered," it was not their problem.
They took my money, shipped late, under-insured the package, and then washed their hands of the situation when their shipping partner lost the items. My only recourse was to file a dispute with my credit card company. Do not shop here.

Love the costume I got! It was high quality, unique, and looked amazing. Very cool options on this site! Customer service was extremely helpful and kind with questions, return options, etc.
I'm a "return customer" - having purchased somewhere around 6 bodysuit costumes from Candy Catz - and every purchase has been terrific. Bodysuits are well made - true to the photos - definitely form-fitting - and attention getting, too! All orders have been received promptly. Communication with seller has been wonderful, also - keeping me informed, ALSO - shipped from Bulgaria, the last 2 purchases reached me (USA) in 7 days. Amazing!
I bought the Droid Robot Costume and couldn’t be happier. The catsuit was made of great material, the sizing was perfect, and the materials and craftsmanship were great. It arrived in a week, which is faster than I expected. 5 out of 5.

This company will not refund your purchase even if you are sent a defective product.
I ordered 2 items from this company and both smelled strongly of what smelled like cigarette smoke. One absolutely reeked and the other was much more bearable, but still had a significant, overwhelmingly unpleasant smell.
Worse yet? One of the items had a defective zipper and, given that such an issue can't be captured with a photo, I created and sent a video as proof. When I requested a refund based on the same? My direct and specific request was repetitively avoided. Once I finally got someone to directly address my request--after having made it multiple times via email (which is the only way you can contact this business), I was told I would have to pay to ship the item back and I would be offered a store credit that was significantly less than the item's purchase price (and neither the return shipping nor any part of the exorbitant shipping fees attached to my original order would be refunded). I pushed back again and again requesting a refund and was parroted this same information without regard for the fact that I was sent a defective item.
So, without regard for the fact that I already paid almost $30 to receive my order, I was being told I had to pay even more to return an unusable item. I was also told that the overwhelmingly disgusting smell of the items was due to the laser that is used to create the items and that it could potentially be washed away (even though this specifically would void the posted return information, which does not cover the receipt of defective items). Is this information offered so that customers can make an informed decision before purchasing? No, it is not.
All in all I recommend avoiding this business as it does not stand behind its products or the customers who purchase them. Even worse, they are misleading customers by not informing them of smell issues that would surely impact many individuals' decisions to purchase. Shop at your own risk.

The company's guidelines clearly state an item can't be returned if it's washed, so recommending the same to get a usable product is deceptive at best.
Further, stating "we can find a solution together" is absurd: I had no less than 10 back and forths via email and the "solutions" offered were for me to pay for the return--and accept less than the value of my purchases--of any and all items, even the defective item.
In response to "we may ask for a picture": That is all the more absurd given that I sent a video and was still informed I would have to pay for return shipping and accept approximately half the cost of the item as a store credit. That's not a solution, it's an insult.
You do not "remain at my disposal," or anyone's based on my communications with your company, so your response is obviously PR-aimed deception. Your "apology" is rendered meaningless based on the same.

I ordered my item 14th oct, paying for express delivery which is an extra £14 which states 1-3 days, however after that time has passed i reached out and was told that it can take up to 6 business days to make the item…but with a promise it will be ready in next few days and I would get a shipping email shortly. It’s been over 6 days and nothing. I have asked for an update yet again, but now silence…
As a first time customer this is extremely disappointing and I won’t be purchasing again

They have the worst customer service. I placed 2 separate orders on Oct 4 thinking the items would arrive on time for Halloween. Their site says 4-6 business days for processing and 6-9 days for shipping. I’m on the 10th business day and after 4 different emails to them, I’ve gotten no where. I’m at a complete loss. Never shopping here again. I suggest no one shops here.

My wife sent me a link to order a dress for her on my cell phone. I ordered express delivery for a party we are going to attend. What was not clear on the mobile version was that the clothes are made to order (no doubt by woefully underpaid laborers somewhere). On the expected delivery date, I received a notice that the item was delivered as I had expected, but the dress did not in fact arrive. I contacted their "customer service" via email (there is no telephone number) and was then told that the dress had not yet shipped and about the delays in having to make clothes. I tried to cancel my order because they were not transparent about delivery time. They refused to cancel the order. I challenged the charge on my credit card, and their "customer service" person "Lola" emailed and said they would fight my cancellation on my credit card. This is a horrible business. Buyer beware.

Die Qualität des Produkts ist wirklich großartig. Nur der Versand hat etwas länger gedauert als erwartet. Ich würde empfehlen nicht zu lang zu warten, damit die Produkte rechtzeitig ankommen. Mit Dhl Express ging es dann zum Glück aber noch schnell genug. Der Kundenservice war aber auch super. Nachdem ich mein Problem geschildert habe, wurde das Produkt zum Glück dann sehr schnell versendet. Das Warten hat sich aber auf alle Fälle sehr gelohnt.
I placed my order based off their production time (4-6 biz days) and took into account the shipping days (8-9). My order was placed on a Wednesday and when I didn’t get my shipping info I was told they start production the following week. IT DOES NOT STATE THAT ANYWHERE! Says items are shipped M-F so basically I will be without my order for the event I’m going to. My follow-up emails were ignored

Got exactly what I paid for. Despite the post-processing on the images, their outfits do match the description and pictures. You can see the quality for yourself by going to their store on Etsy and looking at photos attached to customer reviews.
Items not sent after 13 days, despite paying extra for express delivery. I asked to cancel my order as it would not arrive on time, they accepted and said they would issue a refund. No refund issued, when chased they said it had been issued and to contact my bank. My bank has told me they have not sent a refund and now I have to go through the hassle of claiming the money back through my bank. Would not recommend this company.
SCAM! The worst brand I have ever seen. Even when they claim to be genuine, I don't believe them. They scam and victimize people.
Absolutely do not trust them and never purchase any of their products. A fraudulent and disrespectful brand. They never accept product returns. I am currently taking legal action.
Also to my prior experience of the company. We had to call our bank and collect on fraud. Well. I sent the return back after fighting with them i ordered in.. end of March ish? I sent the return back few days later. Like a week ish or two. Sent it back had the tracking number got re emburised from the bank. Had to send that I had a tracking number / receipt. Back in June. I got a reversal fee for candy cantz. So they either recharged my card or fought with the bank I dont know the whole situation cause now have to deal with it again.
Well we received a package the other day that we did not order now it is the end of august. So they either refused to pick up package. Or whatever but several months later it got sent back to me. And we did not get our money?!
