Great support has been received, even when application may have a limitation
I do have some challenges wtih the application itself; certain aspects I have suggested as future updates as possible. However, the amount and depth of support I've received have been quite remarkable. I feel the team there is quite knowledgeable and answers are timely and definitely go beyond a textbook answer - that "extra mile" is appreciated and it's a friendly interaction that truly represents the willingness to support customers as much as possible.

Great customer service and interface
Great customer service, easy to use and enjoyable to use interface, really helpful and prompt at responding and getting to the bottom of any issues, although the issue I had was my own error and nothing to do with the application! They were still really helpful and sorted my problem promptly, with easy to follow advice and support.

Needs an HTML export!
On the whole, the platform is efficient, easy to use and excellent for creating best-in-class designed email templates. The list function is simple and easy to use and it has all the automation functionality you'd expect from a CRM platform. However, it is sorely lacking an HTML Export function! Rivals like Mailchimp have an HTML function, but no such function exists in Campaign Monitor, which is a huge shame considering that CM is one of the best email platforms from a visual design perspective.

Very quick fix
After a client's newsletter was sent (after being proofed by several people), the client realized an incorrect URL. I was able to contact Campaign Monitor, ask them to correct the URL and all of this took placed within 5-10 minutes. VERY happy with the quick turnaround which minimized too many recipients seeing the incorrect URL.
Poor support
Help desk is slow, even for a simple question, despite the fact that we pay for support (as required by the contract). Chat support is only a bot so if the bot directing you to the existing help entries can't help you, you have to wait a day for a response.
Late in day query rapidly and effectively resolved.
Had a query about reaching out again to people who had not opened an earlier email.
Asked very late on a Friday afternoon and got a helpful immediate automated response.
That was followed very quickly after by a very detailed and very helpful response, which contained very good advice and additional links to help me.
I'm most impressed by the thoughtful care my enquiry received and the good advice given - automatically and particularly with the in-person followup.
Clearly, the Campaign Monitor organisation is strongly customer focused and well staffed, and so one I strongly recommend.
My experience so far is dreadful
My experience so far is dreadful.
First they take your credit card. Once I built the campaign (taking many hours) they inform you that "they will review it".
I try to login a day later and the account is locked. One day later still I get an automated email saying "you have sent your first campaign" but this is not true - it's part of their fake customer service campaign.
There is no email ANYWHERE that you can email to ask what the hell is going on. The emails they send you to sign up "are not monitored". So now I have an account with my credit card on but no means to access it.
Then the real kicker - I sign up for a new account on Instagram and get the message "your IP as been flagged as a proxy server". This has never happened in 4 years of living here so there is only one possibility.
I run a successful business and the service from Campaign Monitor would rate one of the worst I've ever experienced in 30 years. Work with them at your peril.
A user of CM for a number of years, my experience
I have used Campaign Monitor for a number of years both for handling local club subscriber lists and emails through to business based solutions. With a variety of solutions including pay by campaign and monthly subscriptions, I have found it simple and effective to use.
The interface for designing and email campaigns and transactional emails is easy to use and allows a good range of customisation, effectively giving you the tools to get the design you are looking for.
As this replaced hand writing our own emails, it has made things super quick compared to hand-rolled templates and I'd recommend it.

New to this ESP and so far, so good
I am new to this ESP and have lots of questions about the user interface. Every time I reach out to the support team, they are fast, friendly, professional and very helpful. They understand our needs and make us feel like our business matters to them.
2FA Active, Still Required to Select Images
The sign in process is one of the most annoying I have ever experienced. Have 2FA on and get a code sent but that doesn't stop being asked to choose bikes, cars or some other crap. Often taking 4+ goes before being given access to account.
It is a pity because the service itself once in is great but this really needs to be sorted out.
