Fakro window delay and poor communication
I ordered a Fakro window - which on the website stated 10-15 working days to dispatch. It's now at 28 working days and I haven't received my order.
Due to the delivery updates not being on their site, I have had to call up and ask for delivery information regularly, which usually results in the promise of a call back which has mostly not happened.
This is delaying my roofing works, and I still don't know if the window has been dispatched by Fakro, or when it will arrive.
I cannot recommend this company.

Great windows. Great price!
Great communication throughout from enquiry to delivery. Couldnt be more helpful. The windows themselves are excellent. Well made and no issues since installation. They look very high end without the high end price! We are really happy we chose them.

Svar fra Cambridge Skylights
Dear Oliver,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear about your experience, and we completely understand how frustrating delays can be — especially when they lead to additional costs.
However, we’d like to clarify that Cambridge Skylights has never claimed to keep Velux products in stock. Nowhere on our website do we state this - we only carry stock of OUR own brand fixed and frameless skylights. All other products, including Velux, are supplied to us based on lead times provided by the manufacturer.
In this instance, Velux unfortunately did not honour the lead time we were given, despite our team chasing them daily on your behalf. We made every effort to keep you informed and are truly sorry that this situation caused such inconvenience.
We hope you can appreciate that while this was out of our control, your frustration is entirely understandable. If there’s anything further we can do, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly.
Kind regards,
Cambridge Skylights Team

The ordering of roof lights from Cambridge Skylights was so easy. The website had all the information and photos of the product that I wanted. I ordered these and they were delivered well packed so the roof lights arrived without any damage. The tracking info was promptly received from start of the purchase to the delivery. I would use this company again and would recommend Cambridge skylights to all.
