I haven't read reviews regarding sending them graphics cards or computer parts so I thought I'd leave one here so maybe I can save the next person from wasting their time.

I used their website and got a quote for $160 for a 5700 XT. Thought that was a fair price so they can make money and I get some cash. Printed the label and shipped the card to them. All is well until a week later when they came back with a $60 offer because during their test the card was faulty....

"A faulty GPU/Video Chip (blank green screen randomly appears) computer needs to restarts to go normal boot-up) GPU starts to overheats for a short period we run benchmark."

I rejected their revised offer and got the card shipped back. Once I have it back, installed it and ran 3DMARK Fire Strike Extreme with zero issues.

Card temp saw max of 76 and averaged 66 during the benchmark. Benchmark was ran at 1080p. Never had any green screen issue or had to reboot for any reason.

Its also odd to me that if the card during their test was faulty but yet still made me a revised offer to buy a broken card. This seems pretty clear that they lure you in with a fair price on their site and once they receive your item, they revise it.

The experience was great and fast. I like the PayPal option for secure transfer of funds.

Great place to send your old tablets to get them out of your house and get some cash. Easy to follow instructions and cash in my PayPal within a few days after they received them. Will use BuyBackWorld again.

Simple way to get rid of old electronics and maybe make a buck or two back at least. Won't get as much doing a private sale, which is your trade off for a hassle free transaction. Using them for years and will continue to use.

This is my second or third time selling my used electronics to Buy Back World. I deal with them for two compelling reasons: easy to sell and at a fair price.

Easy to sell because they make the offer and provide the packaging. I found their offers were better than others, they did not reduce the price and the box they sent was easy to use to send my electronics. They also communicated each step of the way, ie. when they received, as they evaluated, and my money arrived quickly.

BuyBackWorld made getting money for my iPhone easy. I submitted the type and condition and received a return mailer in the mail. I had my money quickly and easily.

Really great experience. Was constantly advised when I would receive payment, when you received the package, etc. Thank you for providing this service to customers.

Of the two genuine AirPods I sent them (I bought them myself from the Apple Store), both were identified by their QC Team as "not Authentic/Are Fake". For one, the refund was revised to 0. For the other, from $14 to $5. Disappointing.

My initial reaction. "This must be a scam"...but clearly others have had smoother experiences. Will give credit to their communication with updates at every small step. Just failed at this moment of truth.

This company is garbage. Do not do business with them. I sent in two smartwatches in nearly new condition along with their chargers and manuals. They send me an email stating that they had received them but that one of the watches did not have a charger so they had to order one?

Fast forward 3 weeks and I have a inquired on the status of my items three times. They are not responding to my requests. I’m going to move on as they essentially stole my items.

Seller beware!

Horrible experience. Should be zero stars. I was originally quoted $177 for my fully functional, no scratches or cracks iPhone XR 128gb device. They sent me an email saying the phone I sent them was an iPhone 6 and offered me only $10. I rejected that offer and they sent me that wrong phone (iPhone 6) back. After complaining and providing the IMEI number, they located the phone I sent them but changed the offer to $80 (because of a Defective Digitizer / touchscreen). There was nothing wrong with the phone when I sent it in. Touchscreen worked. I rejected that offer, returned the iPhone 6 they had claimed I sent them, and am waiting for my original phone to be returned. Shady business practices. I won't be doing business with them again and recommend you think twice before sending them your device.

Update: They said they would send my phone back to me. I haven’t received it and they fail to answer my inquiries. I believe they lost the my phone. I no longer want to do business with this company. I want my original phone back so I can work with an honest company.
