Their website offered a guide to CVLs. It sounded useful. I submitted my name and email. No guide arrived, just an invitation to make an appointment.

The next morning (Saturday) I was woken up with a phone call. It was a recorded message inviting me to make an appointment and spelling out a long and complicated URL if I wanted to download the CVL guide. So, a nuisance phone call too.

Really knowledgeable advisor. I was going through a tough spell and his calming words were just what I needed.

I was sold liquidation as a pathway to targeted recovery against a former director, with explicit scope on: “Initiating Recovery Actions for Outstanding Debts (former Director, Director’s loan etc).” I even borrowed from friends and family to pay for that work.

I was told there’s “no basis” to pursue recovery and that where the money went is “not a concern.” That contradicts both the evidence and the duties I believed would be carried out.

I paid for recovery, not resignation. Please deliver the recovery actions sold to me

I contacted Businesshelpline seeking advice to help my company; their response was immediate and I was on the phone with a consultant within 5 minutes of my initial enquiry, in my opinion that's nothing less than incredible‼

Adam, the young mad to whom I was speaking, was courteous, considerate and caring in the questions he asked in order to uncover the background to my circumstances; there was hurriedness or rushing which I greatly appreciated considering that I was already in a state of some stress.

The advice I was given was clear, concise and succinct without being blunt or crude; we were able to discuss each of the options in depth to ensure we teased out all the features of each potential solution.
