Business Alberta Online is a Canadian company specialized in one-stop incorporation and business registration services in Alberta at a very affordable cost. It is a registered member of Corporations Canada. The company has its own lawyers and chartered accountants and, therefore can offer complete service packages which includes a Name Search Report (NUANS Report), Corporation’s Name Approval, CRA Business Number Registration, Set up a corporate tax account, WCB registration, payroll account set up, import-export account set up, corporate seal, domain name registration and share certificates. The company has its own corporate lawyers and legal team. Our legal team prepares the article of incorporation (standard and customized both), by-laws of the corporation, resolutions and minutes and all other legal documents for the corporation. Once all legal papers are prepared. Then we instantly register in government corporate registry system and send the certificate of incorporation.

Huge scam
Huge scam! I incorporated through Business Alberta in may 2022 and was supposed to have received a bunch of things in the first year, including bookkeeping, payroll set up, etc. However, I did not receive anything from them for well over a year so I didn’t think that my business had even been registered. In August 2023 they called me telling me I need to renew my business. I said that I didn’t think it had gotten registered because I thought I’d be scammed. I told the woman I spoke with on the phone that I had never received anything to which she responded “Yes you did.” She then called me back 10 minutes later and said you did not receive anything so just emailed it to you. I asked her what about all of the free stuff that was supposed to have been included. She said that the year had been up so I didn’t get anything now and I needed to renew on their website or my business would be dissolved. I went on their website and saw it was $396 to renew for the one year! So I went to the registry to double check if this was legitimate and renewed my business there for $80. DO NOT incorporate through Business Alberta! This is the scammiest legitimate business I’ve come across. Don’t do it!
Again, keep telling me you sent my documents but I have the email dated August 2023 after I was told it was all sent to me and then received a call 10 minutes later stating "you didnt get the documents so Ive just emailed them to you". Again, 15 months after I incorporated and was supposed to have received a year of benefits which I didn't. SCAM!

In reference to your complaint, your order was placed with Business Alberta Online on April 27, 2022. Subsequently, on May 11, 2022, we successfully processed your order, providing you with the Articles and Certificate of Incorporation. We provided you with your registration documents and your CRA accounts. A courtesy email was also sent to remind you of the upcoming Annual Returns deadline. Normally, the government dispatches notifications to the registered address of the corporation unless any address changes have not been duly communicated.
To better address your concerns, we would appreciate the opportunity to discuss the specifics of your experience in more details. If you could kindly reach out to our customer service team at 780-851-2824, we would be more than happy to investigate the issues you faced and work towards finding a satisfactory resolution.
