I am absolutely appalled at what I had witnessed today on the 220 bus. I regularly get the 220 and have not had any issue before but unfortunately today was different. The issue in piticular being the bus driver himself. He had felt the need to get out his seat to confront a girl sitting next to me roughly in her early 20s for eating on the bus, she cooperated and apologised for doing so. The driver continued to give abuse and be upfront rude to her and had made a scene for everyone on the bus to see. This situation had clearly embarrassed her and there was no need for it at all as she was not causing any trouble. He had held everyone up just to go out of his way to ridicule this poor girl. The man was possibly in his late 30s early 40s maybe, bald, black facial hair and possibly Eastern Europe judging by the accent. This had happened at a stop in Carrigaline after everyone had gone on the bus. I have never witnessed someone being treated so poorly for no good reason, this man should not be working for bus Éireann if he expects to be treating people like this and get away with it. His behaviour was unacceptable and in my opinion should be fired immediately. Very unprofessional.

The worst bus service ever to exist especially route 323. You spend and hour on a bus stop and you dont know if it will arrive or not. Never close on time, if too early doesnt wait for others and if too late no apology. You wave at them to get on and you are completely ignored or too full. Get more buses, app timetable useless too.

In the dunboyne area , for colleges schools between the times of 2-5 there should be more buses or at least double deckers ( 105-270) buses )
Times suitable. For school times . 2:00 for first run. Of 270 double deckers run. 2:15 a 105 double decker run
2:35 105 run
2:50 270
3:15 105
3:30-270
3:50 - 105.
And having them as double deckers ) and having time table every 15-20 mins between 2-5 like that as became the stage buses are getting cramped some people aren’t able get on buses and with the bus to full , if the bus even flipped or anything , it’s the danger of that as well

25/09/2025, line 107 Navan-Kingscourt. The driver didn't arrive at 1 p.m. near Navan SC. The bus disappeared from the map near Woodies. It looked like he'd disabled the system. The dispatcher I called confirmed this. The driver arrived 15 minutes late at 4 p.m., in a strange state of mind. He didn't answer questions about why he wasn't there at 1 p.m. Many elderly people were simply very upset. Many people didn't arrive on time or were late because of this driver, who didn't even apologize to anyone and was behaving very strangely. On the way back, before Nobber, he didn't stop when asked by an elderly man sitting directly behind him and very clearly stated he was getting off, as every driver on this route knows. He stopped very aggressively a few hundred meters later, and the elderly man almost crashed into the windscreen. It looked like the driver was under the influence of drugs or very strong anxiety, instilling fear in the passengers. Unbelievable.

I was meant to take the 10:01 bus to town in the morning. I woke up early at 7am, and came to my bus stop just for the bus to be 30 minutes late, the bus said it was full but I saw with my own eyes there was a couple of seats still free and the bus didn’t stop. This has happened twice to me already and it’s getting so annoying. The buses are always late and you have to wait atleast 3 hours for each of them to come. I’m talking about route 456 by the way.

Cant even rely on the buses to get me into work in the morning, the first bus in the morning getting delayed or cancelled is ridiculous. People have to get to work and school. Instead we have to pay 25-30euro for a taxi. Get it together

Route 51. Really poor service. Family waited 2.5 hours in the cold. One bus cancelled. Next bus late, than had to change bus. Nearly missed flight. Completely unreliable. No communication. No adherance to timetables. Avoid if you can as you are highly unlikely to get to your destination in the indntended time frames.

Just sitting on the Cork to Waterford bus. Route 40....Sun Aug 31st '25..... 21.14pm.
I got on at Castlemartyr. The friendliest and politest driver. Brendan I think is his name. Take a huge bow Brendan and Expressway hope you realise the gem you have on this route. Not home yet but have had a good experience travelling on this bus.
Makes up for the most unfriendly driver on way to Cork last week.

Hi Was on the expressway bus from Waterford to cork . I must complain the journey to cork was so noisy inside the bus could not hear my music in my ears . Plus no WiFi and could not charge my phone. On the return was not much better still no WiFi or could not charge my phone. I will think twice before I go on them again. Also the bus was a bone shaker.both ways .

Arrived in Shannon airport,went to board 343 bus to Limerick,driver said I can’t pay with card,cash only, I give a €50 note which he says he cannot accept,I say I am meeting his criteria,he tells me to wait for next bus, I refuse,he magically can now change the €50 euro,some welcome home!!!
Imagine how tourists feel!!

The worst bus service. Always late and frustrating

The 101 route should be letting passengers off at all stops when the bus starts are both Drogheda and Dublin as its ridiculous that the bus only picks up passengers from Dublin to Swords and then only dropping them off from Balbriggan to Swords as all buses should be picking up passengers as well as letting them off at the same bus stops and all the Bus Eireann routes should be doing the exact same thing when they're operating all their services

The bus driver lost track of time and forgot to start driving once it was 8:40, he started driving at 8:43. I was about to go down to ask what time bus this was but I guess he realised and started the bus.

I think the bus drivers for 207 coming Donnybrook really need to do better

It is more expensive than Citylink and takes a longer route from the west to Dublin Airport, and there is no WiFi service.

For the route 40 to to in the middle of summer in a sunny day when everyone is going to the beach (youghal) this mediocre staff of Bus Eireann cannot think to increase the frequency instead they sell the tickets online and on top of that they let ppl without tickets hop in the bus while ppl with tickets stays with no more buses coming, A JOKE!!!!!

Bus Eireann Is offering the worst service without doubt is handling by the most mediocre “professionals” there is not similar awful service like they offer in the entire EU, definitely a shame, on top the prices are like if the service were premium, they should be closing the company and letting a private and first world company offer the service.

Never on time, no charging portals for phones, doesn't stop long enough to get a break from Galway to Derry route

Waiting for the 109x to go from carnaross to dublin and the bus just never arrived.

Bus arrived on time to collect passengers 9.50 am for 10 am departure Driver Male very Friendly answering any customers queries 100%👍

Return Trip Bus was delayed but that’s Traffic etc
Lovely again Female bus Driver couldn’t apologise more for being late

The bus arw always late we've been waiting the 9:30 am bus and 11:30am still not coming very poor service not reliable with time tables they had,one bus missed the schedule will be fine but 3 bus schedule in a row is very mean!!!!!
