Got the 115 to Maynooth
Got the 115 to Maynooth, stood up at the bustop that stops at the Glenroyal hotel, the driver started shouting this is not a drop off point, I said I seen people getting off here before, he also said liffey valley stop is not a drop off point. I said so I can't get off this stop, he began shouting, he made a show of me going on and on. A horrible rude aggressive man thinks he can bully people
Busarus this morning
Busarus this morning. Waiting on bus. No heating in busarus. Toilet role holder knocked off wall. Hard woden slatted seating.
Good part, all the buses are running on schedule.
Very dangerous driver Route 402 Galway
In all fairness the bus driver was very polite and friendly to all the passengers. However his driving was nothing short of dangerous. He was so fast, kept hitting the curb and at one point was on his phone. How did he get a license?

Traveling on line 23 Dublin- Sligo
I traveled from dublin to longford (line 23)on Sunday morning, 21 st December and needed to change the time of the return trip the next day.
Even though this was a busy period, the bus driver went out of his way to help me. He managed to cancel my ticket and got me a new ‘special’ ticket
It’s so nice to see someone so humane and helpful
I would like to pass on my thanks to him and wish everyone at Bus Eireann a very Happy Christmas

Worst it’s the worst totally worst services. Gets cancelled in the last minute to 101 to Drogheda busses. They are literally the worst never ever comes on time. Worst transport I have ever seen .

Bus Éireann is shit
Bus Éireann is such a joke. I have to take the Newry bus and the bus drivers are not only rude, they ignore me at the stop. It takes me 40 mins to walk to town and the bus comes every 2 hours. i could be waiting for an hour as the bus times are so unreliable and i’m there freezing waiting for a bus. Today was just my last straw, it was lashing and i left my home to get the bus and i got to the bus stop and the bus just passed me. so i’m here walking in the pouring rain and this isn’t the first time this has happened. I hate bus eireann, it’s left me stressed, sick and overwhelmed. I was even late to college many times which effects my attendance and final grade due to these incompetent bus drivers who are extremely rude and inconsiderate.
Bus Eireann local transport service…
Bus Eireann local transport service especially in Dundalk is the most appalling transport service I’ve ever the bus rarely ever comes on time it either leaves without you early or is so late it’s basically the next bus and that’s if you’re lucky sometimes it just doesn’t show up
No Dunboyne bus to navan. 109bus is a ghost
My daughter goes to Dunboyne college. 1 the town is not serviced by any bus link to other meath towns except Clonee. She has to get a bus from Dunboyne to Clonee to get 109 bus to Kells. This fails to show often and I have to drive 50km each way to collect her. She is left for hours in freezing conditions along with other unfortunate commuters. Then last night I had to drive to Dublin City centre at 2am as the 109 bus failed to show for my son who was waiting for another 2 hours. I would advise people who are planning a night out in Dublin and using the 109bus to think again. The service is dreadful. Maybe it is time to remove bus lanes as they are redundant most of the time.
Bus temperature
The only issue I have is the temperature in these buses. I’m currently on the bus from Limerick to waterford , it is -2 but the air con is on?. It was the same thing last week. Do drivers feel very warm or do they have their own specific heater near their seats? Because I don’t understand why the heating must be asked to be turned on when it is -2 outside.

Never rely on this company
The experience is less than one
The experience is less than one. If i could have chosen 0 starts i would have. Today on the 17th of november 2025 the bus 223 did not go up to the st peter’s school which left many students stranded as the next bus 216 was cancelled aswell. How are people meant to rely on public transport if it just doesn’t show up? Do better.
Number 32 expressway bus to Dublin…
Number 32 expressway bus to Dublin Airport. Unreliable service. Bus depot staff assured me that it was not my bad luck and it happens frequently. So customers beware. Especially If you have a flight booked. Don’t rely on getting this bus to airport. No refund given as yet. No explanation given for bus not turning up by customer service. Very stressful experience, trying to sort alternate transport for 200 mile journey to airport. Shocking attitude

Very unreliable, some drivers are extremely rude ,buses often don't come or are very late
Timing
I get this bus more than once a week and it is always 10 minutes late. today it came 5 minutes before it’s schedueled time to leave and my friend asked the bus to wait a minute and the bus driver said no and left.
Dismal
Seemingly consistently late on key intercity services. No updates given on amended time of arrival, how long the delay is for &, at Limerick train station which is also the bus station, the information desk is only for trains. You're told to find the manager but initially I found security, who was admittedly helpful. Also what doesn't help is that the overdue bus service just disappears off the information board. Got to speak to the manager. There are several issues: 1. The timetables aren't realistic & don't build in allowance for rush hour traffic at key times; 2. Apparently there is no live communication with the late running buses so they've no idea where they are & when they'll arrive; 3. There is no perceived need to keep passengers informed of what is going on or redirecting them to an alternative service that can get them to their destination while they wait fof the late-running bus. That last point is key for the airport. Thankfully I don't need to use Bus Eireann much and will now not bother with it any more but I feel sorry for those who rely on it for work.
Worst bus service ever
I'm a frequent traveller and thus is the worst bus service I've ever encountered. And now they are going through changes in routes that make most people get 2 buses instead of 1. Unreliable, that constantly get cancelled, or simply don't stop. App completely useless. Don't count on being on time when using them. I'm currently after 4 buses not showing up and one just driving by, having to get a taxi to work, as usual.
Rude bus drivers on line 220 Cork
As previous commenters, I also noticed that the number of rude bus drivers increased on line 220 in Cork City. The prize of the rudest driver goes to the tall, bald man with glasses though. We have noticed that he sometimes sends people off the bus without reason or is totally inflexible (referring to another person wanting to pay if the passenger's Leap Card is not working for a reason or has no change). Last night I personally could experience the rude treatment myself. It was jazz weekend in Cork City and of course at that time there are more people in town as usual. I went out to enjoy a few hours of Latin dancing with my friends and wanted to get home somewhat earlier (around 1 a.m.)
No apps indicated that there would be problems with the bus service - checked Google Maps, TFI live, etc. When I arrived at the bus station I noticed however, that at least three services fell out. When a bus at least came in with the mentioned driver, he started acting up again, sending people off the bus with no reason when deciding at the end that he would not take more people even though there was still enough space on the bus and even though other passengers indicated that I can stand next to them. The bus driver still denied to validate my Leap Card even though I would have paid double to get home. When I asked how I (and other people) can get home then, his answer was that he didn't care and that it was not his problem - "very nice" concern and customer service to a woman travelling alone on a dark night - indicating that this heartless brute doesn't care about paying passengers' safety - I might or could have even been raped walking home alone in the dark. When I told him that the only thing I want is to get home and I have no other ways to do so, he started threatening me with the Garda if I don't get off the bus. I had no other choice but to get off as I wanted no trouble and no issue to other passengers. I value every jobs and services and I'm respectful with everyone, but at that moment I couldn't hold back and gave out. It still upsets me, how some people working in this position feel that they are entitled just because there are not enough bus drivers in this country. Even if he couldn't take more people, he should have at least pro-actively cooperated with passengers telling the first time when the next bus is coming instead of abusing his position. Above that, the next bus waited too long for no reason and did not even stop at the bus stops even though we pressed the button to get off. We had to shout forward to the bus driver to stop. Horrible solution from Bus Eireann for a busy weekend, but the cherry on top was the rude bus driver.

At roughly at 5.30 pm Friday 24th the grey haired ignorant bus driver from Drogheda or Louth it's all the same to me really. He shouted at me for having ear phones on he shouted blah blah blah hello take off your earphones waving his hands in my face aggressively. You see I asked him to tell me how much left was on leap card it's my first time using it so I wasn't familiar with it but all I got was abuse he made me mad, I said very directly I have earphones so I don't have to listen to people like you in society, I got a phone call and I had to answer but I explained I couldn't talk my friend was telling me good news I was trying to congratulate her then to female customers were being abusive towards me so I began to defend myself then the bus driver stopped the bus told everyone to shut up and said I want peace but telling by shouting abusively to shut up worried me and I felt my anxiety rise I was afraid he would hurt me and come into my space I tried to defend myself again my telling him he can't speak to people this way and he said he'll throw everyone off the bus especially me he was very violent he began to laugh I stood up and I was fed up of this abuse so I thought to myself walk away they shouted after me he said he new the two ladies and shouted at me they are ladies this misogynistic violent Irish man verbally harassed me it's any wonder really why you need mixed race bus drivers they have way better compassion empathy kindness for the passengers on the bus I'm appalled at this behavior and it saddened me stressed me out I truly felt he was racist and prejudice and he shouldn't be allowed to work on bus eireann he should be fired because women and children are not safe with him on driving the bus I'm just wondering if he was that abusive he there has to be some problem with him I just worry about the other women on the bus and he knew the ladies too that's very unprofessional as he brought his personal life into work too .
From a concerned bus passenger
